WHY?:
I've been spending my time / money building on my wild chunks and a lot of what I'm building could be used by more than just me. I think building a town everyone can enjoy would be more productive than just my little chunk.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience with towns. I was an Officer of 3 separate guilds in Everquest over the span of about 10 years when I was playing.
TIME:
I have plenty of time to dedicate to my town.
PLAN:
I plan to build a town with an egyptian theme (kind of like my wild chunks, only better). Farms, markets, all of the typical things you'd like to find in a town. Sparkboy2001 has signed on to assist with building / town management.
Agreement

WHY?: Yes, there are already lots of other towns, but as the saying goes, "the more the merrier." Each town has its own unique style and rules so I think that more towns means maximum choice for the potential citizens. I also know that lots of kids out there (including me) will have fun with a cartoon based town.
EXPERIENCE: I have created several towns on a few other servers that thrived well when the people involved with the town worked together to keep it going.
TIME: I try to be on at least 2-4 hours a day though some days i am away and others i have lots more time.
PLAN: Harry I and several others (Sirzavala, Kingtaco, and possibly FlammableCow9000) have been working together for a while to create a nation so that our towns will benefit each other. a

Hi, As many of the others have said, we have some nice folk here at Noobstown, as evident by the supportive comments left -- I highly doubt that anyone would "shun" you because of your voice, and even if this was so: you could report this to a staff member such as myself and we will deal with the issue for you :p Although, it is obviously your choice whether you come on teamspeak to talk, we have the service for players to use; you are not obliged to actually speak, even if you are on teamspeak, just enjoy yourself! I hope this helped.

I'm guessing you want an official reply, so, here goes nothing Sometimes you can be kicked due to a bug-- one of our safety measures-- it is nothing to worry about, you aren't going to be banned; We don't know all the causes that trigger this glitch but this is a very minor issue, so it will be sorted out sooner or later. Sunnycat is quite correct, we did originally intend a release for summer last year, but due to various complications, including but not limited to the 1.7 release, we have been delayed. The comment you saw on saying 'summer release-cough' was a sarcastic/humorous comment, it doesn't mean v6 will be released this summer. -Waterworth

I was just wondering can parts of a town be on different parts of the map or do they have to be connected?
Normally a town has to be connected, however you can claim outposts for your town, which don't have to be attached to the original town plot.

Build lots of messy redstone creations; that serve no real purpose and make sure everyone is following the rules of course!
