But in the long-run, there is actually no difference, it's just how people accomplished the rank that's different, right? 
Well, in V6 the current Veteran's will still have their commands etc, the new Veteran rank wont have does commands, as they are donator only, so they will still be very different.
And the V6 veteran rank isn't permanent, right?

Yeah so in NCAA basketball we are down to three teams, (about to be 2 because Michigan is about to bet Syracuse).

WHAT?!?! If they ever take wrestling out of the Olympics i will never watch it again. I agree, take out synchronized swimming. No one really cares about that sport, but a ton of people support wrestling.

Hey guys,
I am deciding to leave the server. I can't really accept the fact that i will soon lose my beloved town and all my belongings. I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it this time, and I won't back on. I will be active here on the forums though, so you can PM me through them. I thank all the players and staff for making me have a great experience here. It has been a fun almost year. So, i guess all i can say is see ya.

I 100000% agree. I am debating whether to keep playing, because I can't deal with losing everything. I donated to this server, because I liked it the way it was. I feel that this new version is gonna change that to much, and make it not seem like what it was made to be. I spent 7 months getting money and materials for a town, and I finally got one. It is my pride, joy, and shows my true dedication to this server. And Fatnoob, when you said new people feel like they are in a hole, behind everyone else, this new version won't change that. With a server that grows in population a lot like noobstown, there will always be new people. You can't stop new people from coming, and feeling like they are in a hole. The great MC'ers are the people who can push that aside, and not let that stop them, and catch up to everyone else. So many people who have earned a reputation will lose it. You might think this will give new people and opportunity to shine, but it won't. The new people will keep coming. All the work people have done in the past year is down the drain. And the new wilderness idea of making people purchase land? Come on! The whole point of the wilderness was for people who couldn't afford plots to be able to build and have fun playing on the server. It also makes it so people can build huge structures, without the server 4 plot maximum. I have so much more I could say, but I will leave it at that. The server is fine the way it is, and to update means to take away everyones legacies. Thanks for listening, Earl Cabbyverly. Hey Noobscraft,
I have an extremely sad announcement to make. This Friday will be my last day on the server. No one thing has happened to make me do this, but I will list 3.
1. The biggest reason. I am so addicted to this great and amazing server, I can't stop playing. It has had a very big impact on my life, and I can't focus on other more important things.
2. I feel I have changed since I got a town, and I have been more agressive if I may say. I went from have never been kicked to being kicked 3 times in 2 weeks, and then temp banned.
3. I am starting to think there isn't much left to do. When I set a goal as a guest, it was to get and run a town. I have achieved that. When you achieve one goal, you set another. And that goal is to work on my real life sports.
I have decided to give my town ThunderHaven to my sub-mayor, Nebih. My great TA rms4455 will take over sub-mayor. I hope that is a good decision, because what I want is my town to be successful. And I think that by putting those people in those positions will make my town the most successful. On Friday I will be holding a drop party of all my items, diamonds and all. And it will be a going away party. I will be on on today and Thursday.
Don't think that you will never see me again. In a few months, I might come back to stay, or just visit.
I want to thank you all for being great friends with me, and giving me 7 months of great times. It makes me very sad that I have to go, but I will survive. I wish you all the best of luck on Noobstown, and hope you all will be successful.

It is a cool idea but don't you think some people would like to comment on their "report user" if they were the player that got reported? in case they were reported for no reason at all etc.
With this system the reported player can't really try and tell the reasons why they did what they did etc, it is more private and keeps players that got nothing to do with the set report out of it but idk really.

Me and my new friend Nebih have started a new town called ThunderHaven. It is currently being built, and is going good. When we are done building, I will make a new post for TA applications. You are still welcome to join the town right now, but you will not be able to get a plot. So far, there is around 90k in the town bank, and we are looking to expand that. I think that the server needs to make it so it never rains. It used to never rain, and there was no lag. Every time the rain comes on nowadays, everyone starts lagging! I think rain should be turned off altogether.

Ok Noobscraft,
I have decided to save up for a town. I need some help with the money. I am starting a club. We will be making money to help save up for a town. In return, I will give you a nice position in the town staff, depending on how much you make for me. The club will be called 'Club Riches'. If you want to join the club (please do!) make a post/reply on this thread. In the post, put why you want to join, your money-making strengths, your talents, how long you have been on the server, and how much money you currently have (don't lie, I can figure out how much money you have with one command). I will then tell you whether you are accepted or not ( there is a very, very high chance you will be accepted).
So, please join Club Riches, and you will get a nice position in the town staff.
