When V6 kicks off, and once Townsville is set up and stable, I will be building a light battlecruiser called the Normandy.
Yes, that Normandy.
It will be on the outskirts of Townsville, probably at the Townsville Spaceport (if I get clearance from Phillip to build a spaceport.)
Anyway, I can't run a starship alone, as just the captain. I will be hiring crew members, yeoman, armory masters, etc. to run the place with me. Your "pay" will be quarters on the ship (which are going to be rather luxurious, and are fully customizable), free food from the mess hall, and the ability to brag and say "I live on Commander Shepard's ship" and all that stuff.
Also, there will be a vault, for minerals, and being a crew member, you will have the ability to take out loans from this "bank".
Perhaps the Normandy will be the HQ of the bank I want to start, but maybe not.
tl;dr Building battlecruiser, epic one, need crew. Supporters/VIPs/long time regulars preferred, it's not a full-time gig, just, I need help building it and I don't want to be alone on the thing.
So yeah. IF you want to know what it will look like, and don't play Mass Effect, just google "mass effect normandy" and that's basically gonna be it.

I plan on making a giant emptious hole and living in it. I will line it with quartz and it will look like a hospital, or a secret government medical testing facility. It will be my lab and will be safe from the prying eyes of others. I can brew and enchant there and will sell my potions and enchanted tools to gain money.
Then I am going to harvest mass quantities of obsidian and make a giant reaper from mass effect.

Look, I think miner is right, some of us just can't compete with people like mrfloris or people like him, I for example have given up on ever being a veteran, because i know i have no chance to beat out the people who are on here literally 10 hours a day. Ive been here since V2 and Ive donated a respectable amount of money, but forget it, i give up. Playing IS pointless, I have my 7200 tokens, and until V6 you won't be seeing much of me.

So, is there any way to tell if you are in the top 100? Cause I think I might be but I probably am not. I mean, i've been playing on here since early V2, and I have tons of in game time, i mean, I'm no mrfloris but I think I play a heck of a lot on this server, especially since i quit school. So, just wondering, can we have the list of people who might be in the top 100?

Also: Could lava and fire please be allowed on our own plots or in towns with the mayor's permission? I ask because a lava fountain in a town spawn would look epic, and I kind of want to copy something I saw Sjin do on Youtube.
Fire and lava would work then, because with the new anti-grief system, and with only you being able to place lava, or maybe the mayor, (again I must stress that I am only suggesting this be allowed on claimed plots, either by towns or by individuals in the wilderness world). Lava is a great building material, it is pretty, and makes good lighting in combination with glass. Imagine a glass floor with lava underneath! I remember when you could do that on the server, and it would really bring back a little nostalgia for some of us.
As for fire, i want it because it helps when making underwater domes. You fill the dome with wood to get rid of the water, and then just set the wood on fire from the bottom to get rid of it, as opposed to using cobble and tediously mining it away. Or in my case, as I have to use once, the hated and feared gravel. Took forever.
Thank you for your consideration, and I would like to thank Fatnoob and all the mods and admins for this, I was sad at first but when i found out everything i got really excited. Again, thanks for working so hard!

I think all members from v5 or sooner should start with 5000 and new members with 50. So then players feel like they have some compensation
How about an extra 5k for every version you have stuck around for? Like, ive been here since V2, so i would get 20k. nebih would get 25k. Etc.

With killerpie and ajhl49 gone forever, the task is mine to restore Forthwind to some of its former glory. Post in this thread if you wish to help rebuild or help finance this massive undertaking. Or, of course, if you wish to join. We do not have the money right now, I only have about 330,000 Nz. Money, help, or even just residents would be an immense help. Thank you.
What we could really use help with is digging dirt to level inside the city walls. The people who help the most will get a room in the luxurious castle! Plant a farm, run an inn, tend a tavern, sell food, mine things at the town quarry, or join our armies! Anything that can help would be appreciated.
Note: If you say you want to help and then just desert, you get nothing. I am looking for loyal, long-term residents.

Also looking for TA's, but for that position, you must truly be devoted to the town. No helping build one wall and then bailing. There is no pay, (if i offered pay it would just attract riff-raff and griefers) except a luxurious roomi n the castle and two free plots.
The city wall is currently 99x99, I don't expect the town to be much bigger than that, and I want to keep it relatively small. We are a peaceful medieval styled town, comparable to Whiterun. If you are interested in any of this, please message me or post in this thread. Thank you, whoever helps, you will not be forgotten.

Question.
What is the difference between a Bank and a Loan Agency? Also, say I give out a loan. There is no paperwork, or proof of contract. And, there is no court system for me to sue the person with if they don't pay me. What would happen is: A bunch of noobs who registered not 20 minutes ago would take out loans and simply deny them all, and the whole thing would collapse with me a million Noobz in debt. the concept simply doesn't work without server plugins or something, or proof of contract. Perhaps once books come out we can make signed contracts, but there's still no way to collect on late loans. Not without people running to the Moderators every single time they need a loan collected on, and I don't think they want to become full-time loansharks.
