It's not going to end up in a popularity contest unless people are stupid enough to vote for the person they like the most, they should take this seriously and vote for the person they think is best fit for the job, which may or may not be their closer friend. In response to your '1.': That is really dumb and stupid as masterrbc has already said that the voting will not be held on the forums. In response to your '2.': People giving away free stuff isn't what some people would do just to become a Moderator, that is extremely low and a form of bribery. I personally wouldn't do that.

In your case then if masterr is a bad Moderator then he get's de-opped then that Moderator position goes to the next candidate with the most votes.

Nop.. never mind that's REALLY annoying.. Discussing masterr's idea of making the vote in-game would be fine with me as everyone can vote (not 100, I don't get where you got this idea from?) and the elections can carry on for, say a week? So then everyone has a perfectly long chance of getting their vote counted for.

This is just a suggestion.. but maybe you should stop trying to be a mayor of a town if you always lose the support you are given. It is incredibly hard to keep up a town with demanding residents even if you have all the help in the world, it's some tough business.

I was speaking to Angel_Lord about this suggestion and she thought it wouldn't be as good as we think it would be because someone could come online and be a griefer but not grief the server until they become a Moderator as a group of them could come online and support one of the griefers until they become a Moderator which would cause havoc on the server. So if you have any responses for what she said, I'm all ears.

I don't know about a glass wall.. it just appears with a message saying something along the lines of 'You have reached the border.' and there is the actual world beyond the border, there's just no way of getting there.

You can get free points but you personally cannot earn them yourself. You can only earn free points when something special happens within the server/forum such as a certain amount of members on the forums.

But then that ruins the idea of getting money, it would also ruin the economy of the server. Raise the town prices so that its HARDER to get towns because someone could easily just pay some people to pretend to be their ten residents then the ten people could run off and join a different town.

Something else that annoys me is the amount of people making towns and how easy it is to make them.. I think a perfectly logical solution is to up the price for a town because I get really angry when I see towns with one to ten residents, they're just a waste of space.

First out I'd like to say that it's not the guests that annoy me, its when they get agitated and start raging for no reason what so ever. They need to learn to be patient and not spam in global chat as most of the time it is their own fault for failing at the application and not following it correctly. There should be something at the guest spawn explaining what they should do if they fill in the application correctly such as: Stay calm and wait 30 minutes. Also if they write their IGN incorrectly then (as most of them already do...) they should make a post about it.

@Jay: I see where you're coming from but I'm sure most people now know how to use forums and get involved with them, this forum is not an exception. This forum is user friendly and easy to navigate your way around it so new players and put off with any complicated actions. Basically what I'm saying is it's not hard to put forward your issues on the forums.
@Hazd: 1. You getting killed at PVP is something you need to sort out, not the server, if you don't like getting killed - don't go in the arena.. 2. You not being able to connect is hardly something to get mad/sad about as most of the time its the server getting better for the players experience to be greater. 3. Lag is just something you'll have to overcome. 4. Griefers are always caught in the end and punished, so no need to worry about them. 5. Getting mad at slow typers is a little weird as it doesn't matter how slow or fast someone types.. nothing can be done about that. 6. The Ender Realm will be open when Fatnoob is ready for it to be opened to the public. 7. All rule breakers are caught and punished.
Maybe this cleared some things and changed your mind on some or your original thoughts.
