Hey all,
I admit, that my feelings are split. On one hand, I agree with everyone that says that the reset is bad because it will ultimately make them lose everything. I, like others, have worked hard for what I currently have. But like the admins, I understand the necessity to reset the map every now and then in order to maintain a certain level of equality among players and to simply restart the server. I'm not going to tell anyone what to do, but I suggest that everyone just continue to play as if nothing new will happen. Enjoy the present because you never know what might happen tomorrow. But not only that, stick around for a little bit after the reset as well. You never know, you may find that you like the new server more than the old one.
While I know I'm going to be losing everything, I'm really excited. The first reason why I enjoyed Minecraft so much was because of the vulnerability in the beginning. But what single player lacked was friends to play with
I've (hopefully) established some friends in this server, and we are all going to be restarting together (again, hopefully) and it will be fun, of that I have no doubt. Really, I'm just trying to say, "Stick around for a couple days after reset, you might really enjoy it!"
