Plot commands, powers in town, basic knowledge of towny (each plot is a chunk a chunk is 16x16 all the way from bedrock to skylimit), commands to claim town (/town claim). Permissions for each plot (/plot set perm), perms to switch fire off and on in town, command to show outline of the town, to show outline of each plot for easier plot making and road making.

Take into consideration all kinds of people are selling picks since they added experience drops to virtually everything in the game, not just killing monsters, and dropped the lvl of highest enchant to 30 intead of 50. If it was a silk touch or something, that would be different.

I assume by Skyblock you are referring to where the whole world is defaulted to void space and then you have to manually expand it as you wish to build. If not please feel free to post images or explain what exactly you mean by Skyblock.
The main issue I see arising from a world like this is extreme griefing. If the world building area has to itself be made people are very likely to just take away the space of other players. Plus if the resources are restricted to being only in this "Skyblock" world what would we do about the limited resources? It would be almost on the verge of promoting stealing as so many items would be so rare.
Well I've seen plugins multiple times where servers will have there normal area, like mainland. Skyblock would be kind of like the pvp world, a totally seperate world. Along with that, not everyone can join, it would be only you by yourself or you could have up to 3 other friends play in a party (that's the highest amount I've seen). It would only be a break from normal noobstown, as you couldn't keep the items you get, however. It stays in your skyblock.

That won't happen. It's either the whole map or none at all. They've never just reset the wild, and I doubt they ever will  . But the point of a fresh map is to start anew, be on the same playing level as everyone else, etc. You just have to see the positives of a complete reset.

Well Jay, i've heard from sources that there WILL be a reset. With that said, NO reset date has been decided and it could be a year away before a reset, who knows? But I think overall, people agree that its getting too crowded and the map is getting too aged. It'll be good to reset, it just needs to be done right. Some people would be upset, but you can't make everyone happy on big decisions like these. It's like noobmas, some will like it some will hate it.

I agree. Yes, I still have plans for Oakvale and to expand it farther more, but alas, expansion is SEVERELY limited. When I first started the town, I was next to only 1 town, and I wasn't expanding that way. Then Kingdom not only popped up, but became one of the largest towns on the server. Now I don't mind the close company because I compromised with both of the towns and it's all good, but starting fresh away from all other towns sounds very nice to me. Also I have noticed there are hardly any room for new towns to start, or people to build in freedom, without there property being compromised from a close by town.
One point I have though IF there is a reset is that you should keep your items. Not only items, but monster spawners and getting the eggs back from the spawners as well. I'm all for a reset, but when I donate REAL money, I do not want to lose over 10 spawners (I have all the animals for farms in town), as that is not fair.
But it is up to the admins and when they have time to decide and organize a reset, which is a BIG project by the way, hopefully not too many people will be upset and that everyone can come together to restart and reorganize and make sure the restart is done the right way.

Would you be able to bring stuff from outside the Skyblock?
With the plugins I've seen on other servers; no. I would LOVE to see this on the server, but I feel right now there are more important things, like getting pistons back, having minecarts and boats stay, and getting /tc and /nc back. I know it might be impractical, but I don't think you realize how close I am to Kingdom and Blackthorn, our towns really have no unclaimed land in between them anyways, so griefing isn't really a problem in between our towns.
That brings me to my next point, the hardest part of the whole thing is getting someone to be in charge and agreeing on a good design, along with permissions in each town. It would take a long time, but would be cool nonetheless in between at least a few closer towns, like Oakvale, Kingdom and Blackthorn for example.

All I want for Christmas is to hear no more about people that were banned for a good reason all over the forums talking about they should be unbanned, and instead, work on fixing on why they were banned in the first place. Oh and love and peace on the whole server, I want that too!

My town is close to around 4 towns, as in close enough people shouldn't be in the wilderness between out towns, so I'd love to make a railroad station connecting to the towns (maybe like kingdom and Blackthorn and dragonfire). I've already made a road connecting Oakvale and blackthorn, so it's not out of the question. I've already made the starting part of the railroad station in main town of Oakvale.

I'm going to give you some advice. You should reconsider posting all over the forums, announcing that you're banned, as it isn't even related to the subject you are posting on. You've been banned for a reason, but it's 'possible' to get unbanned, not doing this though. How about you instead take this time out to fix what you have in your life that is making you lash out at people and throwing threats in general chat. Then, reappeal and tell the mods/admins what you have learnt and done to fix your mistakes so you can show them you TRULY have changed. If you would please refer to the beginning of the post, no negativity (cussing) on these posts, its for reminiscing not to draw attention and get off subject. Sorry that happened, but please. I hear you, Fish. Real life catches up with all of us sometimes. (Now where are those resumes I need to send...)  I'll send you a /tp request next time I see you on. I don't think I've seen Oakvale in its entirety yet. By the way, thank you so much for starting this topic! It gives me something good to read whenever the server is down. And truthfully, I never imagined I would be involved in such an online community as Noobstown.
"I need food!"
As a strict solo survivalist, I've told myself I'd never use chat except when I really needed it. Nor interact with any player. And yet, the monotony of grinding/mining/farming forces me to constantly monitor Gen Chat (and, in the process, get entertained by what they're saying). About a week ago, there was this one kid who asked about where they and their friend can call home. Nothing big; the mods took care of it. The kid still decided to build a house in the mining world. "Hm. Good luck with that."
The next day, I was in my secret hideout, harvesting wheat... When the same kid calls out, "I'm hungry!" And I dismissed it, thinking, "Meh. I survived two real life days on zero hunger. Deal with it!" After several minutes, the kid calls out again. "I need food!"
"Alright! Just this once, Gen Chat!"
That second request broke down my solo-play resolve, and I prepared for tpa with some food. For a few reasons: (1) I was just then harvesting wheat to make bread, (2) the kid's new AND lived the mining world, (3) the kid had a friend, and (4) nobody responded after several minutes.
The next thing I know, we were mining for diamonds, then end stone, then netherrack. Poor kid fell into lava three times. The next day, I found out he joined a town--one that I would eventually call my second home town. There in New Caprica, I made another friend, and the three of us would go fishing or do MA together. I'd jump in to lava for them any time---well, provided I have my current set of Fire3 D Armor and have water set for /home  .
Deep in my heart, I'm still a solo-player. But when people need help and I got resources, it's hard to decline their request 
I loved to read this after you have got to get a tour of omega1291's MASSIVE tower complex, and now you have an embassy plot in Oakvale, where we have been celebrating Christmas there. It's been fun, hope the fun continues, as I have a lot planned out for town, and you're welcome to join on the events

Funny story. For the first MONTH I played minecraft, I lived (and struggled) off of rotten flesh and raw food, not knowing that you could cook food for more health and without the poision. It happened to me, but i was getting xp for it. Although, the only time I got scammed was when repairing tools. I repaired dozens of full armor (diamond) and they never lost durability, so do only armor, if that helps Sincerely, Fish_James Founder of Oakvale

Welcome to the wonderful server of Noobstown! I love helping out new people on the server that are willing to listen and be respectful (not demanding), and you seem like you are just that!
