Robots and Aliens, the time has come to win more points for your team!

This weeks fishing tournament will be different. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as usual but for each winner announced will win 20 points for their corresponding team. This will take the place of the money prize but a special head/participation prize will be the same as always!

This Sunday the tournament will be hosted in Windermere! If you wish to host one in your town, please message me and we will discuss making plans! The rules are listed below for your convenience.

1. There will be no building or destroying in the fishing area.
2. Rods and food are the only items needed. Armor can be used and enchanted rods are welcome as well. Any other items will be asked to be stored before teleporting to the fishing area.
3. You must stay in your "box" during the competition and be sure not to interfere with other players. If we find that you are interfering we will ask you to return to your box or you may be withdrawn from the competition.
4. All server rules apply. Chat will be happening in /ch l and you must remember to apply the server rules to the competition and other players and staff members.

Once the tournament is ready to begin, each player interested in participating simply message a staff member and we will check your inventory to make sure you are only equipped with a rod and food. Again, if you have other items in your inventory we will ask that you store them and we will recheck your inventory. Once you're cleared, we will teleport you to the waiting area. You may not teleport other players into the waiting area, they must be checked by a staff member. If a player fails to do so, they will be removed and disqualified from the competition.

The goal of the tournament is to simply be the first to catch 64 raw fish. There are spots for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!

ALL PARTICIPANTS (including winners) WILL BE GIVEN A PARTICIPATION PRIZE

Which team will take the lead? Aliens....or Robots!?

So as I'm typing this up I'm sitting in the Minneapolis airport with a 10 hour layover so I thought I'd upload just a few pictures from my trip. First and foremost let me say that the crafty family is one hell of a family. As you probably already knew they were and are the sweetest people and I had a blast sharing my last 2 weeks with them.

We had many laughs and with the loss of my mother in May I've needed some time away, some time to get my mind off my mom and the depression that comes along with grief. I'm very thankful for this server to have given me the people it has because they're some of the nicest people I've ever met...not just the Crafty's but many, many others.

Some people ask me why I'm a mod and why I would want to cater to "children" or "deal with other peoples problems" and my answer is simply what I described above....this server has given me more than I could ever give back to it...friends, a sense of community, a place to call him and essentially, a family.

The craftys had bought me a minion backpack and the minions overall strap was broken, so Papa Crafty (Craftymatt13) fixed it for me!

the night before I left I took the crafty's out to dinner to say "thank you" for their hospitality over the last 2 weeks and afterward we walked around the mall. Let's say little fluffykitten was spoiled and got lots of goodies from GG!
