I'm currently listening/reading "If You Feel Too Much" by Jamie Tworkowski. He's the founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those with suicidal thoughts, mental illnesses, self injury, addiction and recovery. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm not a huge reader but once in awhile a book peaks my interest.

Admins can check console logs for /echest and such and view inventory to see what ppl have in it and in their current inventory. There's no use in playing unfair, just fishing is fun, no need to ruin fun.
Yes that's why we check the inventories prior to letting anyone into the waiting area. If, again we feel that someone is catching fish a little too fast, we can check their inventory then as well. As I said before, we trust our VIP/VIP+ members in doing the right thing.

just wanted to share this with everyone. I got this done today. I am not new to tattoos, this is my 5th one. This is a memorial tattoo for my mom. She loved, LOVED frogs, ever since she was little and she became the lady that everyone would think of when they saw a frog. So naturally when I knew I had to get something in dedication to her, I knew exactly what I wanted. Crazy it's been a month, over a month that she's been gone and now she's physically, mentally, spiritually, internally with me. Thank you for all your love and support through this difficult time. I'm very blessed to have such wonderful friends here. Do you have any tattoos? if not, what would you like to get if you could? -gg

Question... whats to keep vip and vip+ peeps from keeping 25 fish in their echest? Just a thought.
Usually if a player seems to get to 64 raw fish pretty quickly, it's something that raises a red flag. Usually VIP/VIP+ members are not anything to worry about; we trust that they play fair and follow the rules.

To continue Summer 2015 I will be hosting a fishing tournament in the wonderful town of Tortuga. Thank you to cruisinkiy for coming to me wanting to host an event in his town! If you wish to host one in your town, please message me and we will discuss making plans! The rules are listed below for your convenience.
1. There will be no building or destroying in the fishing area. 2. Rods and food are the only items needed. Any other items will be asked to be stored before teleporting to the fishing area. Rods MAY have any enchantment on them! 3. You must stay in your "box" during the competition and be sure not to interfere with other players. If we find that you are interfering we will ask you to return to your box or you may be withdrawn from the competition. 4. All server rules apply. Chat will be happening in /ch l and you must remember to apply the server rules to the competition and other players and staff members.
Once the tournament is ready to begin, each player interested in participating simply message a staff member and we will check your inventory to make sure you are only equipped with a rod and food. Again, if you have other items in your inventory we will ask that you store them and we will recheck your inventory. Once you're cleared, we will teleport you to the waiting area. You may not teleport other players into the waiting area, they must be checked by a staff member. If a player fails to do so, they will be removed and disqualified from the competition.
Sunday's event timetable can be found below:

This is what we do in Windermere. If a player leaves and their items are still there we ask them if they want them, if they don't we delete the items. We have a 2 month inactivity policy where when they are gone for 2 months we store their items safely in a storage area in case they return. We take down the plots and we put those building blocks with the rest of their items. there's really not a set in stone way of doing things and it varies from town to town.
That's what we do and how I understand it. Basically no mayors or town staff members are to benefit from any other players' items....they need to be stored safely or deleted. It all depends on the rules you have set for your town.

Windermere Staff Application
This thread will be solely for players interested in becoming staff of the up and coming town, Windermere. All and any town applications must be made in this post, not in a message to me or made in-game. Below you will find a form to fill out simply in a comment. If the application is not submitted in the way the form has been written out, it will not be considered.
Criteria for staff is as follows. Staff positions will be limited and given to those players who we feel is best for the job and will dedicate time and effort into the town and seeing that the town is in it's best shape possible. Prior experience is not needed but is preferred. If we feel you are suited for the job, I will personally contact you either in game or through a mail in game.
Staff Positions available: Town Assistants: The main role of our assistants will be to help our residents around the town. You could consider yourself a moderator, enforcing the rules, helping people who don't know the towny plugin as much as you, and fixing problems that arise in Windermere. If you feel you can fit the bill, feel free to apply. (Remember to put your past towny experience in the past experience, so we can get a better idea of how well you know this complex plugin). Sub-mayors: sub-mayors work closely alongside the mayor and co-mayors. In order to be considered for this position, I personally must feel you're right for the position and can be trusted. Sub-mayors will help with the building, getting materials, help brainstorm ideas for the town, help players, organize plots, storage, etc. If you have any former towny experience this will definitely improve your chances.
IGN: Age: Location: How often are you on the server: Past Experience: Why do you want to be staff for Windermere: How long have you been on Noobscraft: Other: The application is explained as follows: IGN: What is your in-game name? Age: how old are you? Location: Where are you in the world? How Often are you on the server: Are you on for a few hours a day? Are you on all the time? Are you on for a few minutes? Etc. Past Experience: Do you have any past experience dealing/running a town? Any past experience as a server admin? This can also include job or school responsibilities. Have you ever been a leader? Why do you want to be staff of Windermere: Why are you applying for a position? Why should we choose you? How long have you been on Noobscraft: How long have you been on the server? Both in previous versions and current version. Other: any other additional information you'd like to leave.
We look forward to reading your applications and look forward to the progress that can be made on our wonderful town.
-The current staff of Windermere

I am back home in South Dakota after a month of being away due to my mom passing away. I'm happy to be back as I've missed you all and missed working on my town and helping out the server.
So if you need anything in-game, don't hesitate to ask! Also, thank you for all the sweet commands and sympathy wishes. It's been a very hard last month. We have such a wonderful community here.

I've found a way around the selling bug. I'm the mayor of Windermere and I made myself sub-mayor as well. I'm able to put plots up for sale that way. If you're a sub-mayor, make yourself an assistant or have the mayor make you an assistant. Just something to play around with. Definitely helps while the bug is being sorted.

For the past month I've been in North Carolina taking care of my mother who died this past Tuesday. I'll be here for another week before taking the long drive (with a little dog) back to South Dakota. It's been a difficult time but I've had the wonderful support of my family and my family here on Noobscraft. My mom was my best friend, my role model and my inspiration. She lost her battle to cancer but she put up one hell of a fight and while Cancer got ahold of her body it never got ahold of her soul and her spirit. She will be greatly missed but she is with me. I hope to see you all soon! love, gg

In order to access the server again you will need to change your name back to what it was prior to your change.
Thank you.
