just a quick update. I'm having to take an emergency trip home to North Carolina as my mother isn't doing too well. If you see that my activity has gone down for the next 2 weeks, that is why. I will be on when I can but no guarantees can be made.

the lag spikes happening currently or that were happening we're aware of. If you have lag at other times, try installing optifine. It's free and allowed on the server.

As a new form of recruiting residents we decided to make a video showcasing our town and the amenities that we offer.

Information:
  • As of Halloween 2014, we have almost 90 residents.
  • We offer 3 different mob grinders spread out around the town. (2 skelly and 1 zombie)
  • We have a beautiful shopping district featuring a newly added memorial fountain to honor those who suffer with mental illness.
  • We have a dedicated town staff that works (almost) around the clock to improve the town and make sure residents are at their happiest
  • We also offer seasonal contests for our residents that can include money, diamonds and a commemorative prize.[/li/
We continue to grow a little every day, whether it be in residents or size. We are honored to have had the opportunity to start this town on such an amazing server. We've worked hard for it and we hope that you choose to join us!

Basically everyone else has already answered your questions. You can join an [open] town when you do /t list by doing /t join [name of town] or you can speak with a town staff member if it isn't an [open] town. If you have any further questions and you see me in-game feel free to ask.

no idea why it's down. the admins are aware as I've messaged them and it could be down for the rest of the night since it's early morning for the admins in the UK. We'll get it back up as soon as we can.

Next time you get on, look out for a mod/admin, they'll be able to tp you away from wherever you're stuck. Or you may have to try to type /spawn like really quick. If you're on and I see you on I'll be happy to help!

I don't see where this would be necessary. New players still need something to work for, they can't just be given free things every day. Voting every day is a great way to get money, you get 2500 noobz per 24 hours and as Jack mentioned /kit tools AND /kit food which is a great way to help players get started.
