To continue Summer 2015 I will be hosting a fishing tournament in the wonderful town of Tortuga. Thank you to cruisinkiy for coming to me wanting to host an event in his town! If you wish to host one in your town, please message me and we will discuss making plans! The rules are listed below for your convenience.
1. There will be no building or destroying in the fishing area.
2. Rods and food are the only items needed. Any other items will be asked to be stored before teleporting to the fishing area. Rods MAY have any enchantment on them!
3. You must stay in your "box" during the competition and be sure not to interfere with other players. If we find that you are interfering we will ask you to return to your box or you may be withdrawn from the competition.
4. All server rules apply. Chat will be happening in /ch l and you must remember to apply the server rules to the competition and other players and staff members.
Once the tournament is ready to begin, each player interested in participating simply message a staff member and we will check your inventory to make sure you are only equipped with a rod and food. Again, if you have other items in your inventory we will ask that you store them and we will recheck your inventory. Once you're cleared, we will teleport you to the waiting area. You may not teleport other players into the waiting area, they must be checked by a staff member. If a player fails to do so, they will be removed and disqualified from the competition.

the goal of the tournament is to simply be the first to catch 64 raw fish. There are spots for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! In addition, there will be a 4th place award given as well.
1st: 150K, wet sponge
2nd: notch apple, 100K
3rd: stack of bottle of enchanting, 50K
4th: SURPRISE AWARDS
ALL PARTICIPANTS (including winners) WILL BE GIVEN A PARTICIPATION FISH!

Windermere Staff Application
This thread will be solely for players interested in becoming staff of the up and coming town, Windermere. All and any town applications must be made in this post, not in a message to me or made in-game. Below you will find a form to fill out simply in a comment. If the application is not submitted in the way the form has been written out, it will not be considered.
Criteria for staff is as follows. Staff positions will be limited and given to those players who we feel is best for the job and will dedicate time and effort into the town and seeing that the town is in it's best shape possible. Prior experience is not needed but is preferred. If we feel you are suited for the job, I will personally contact you either in game or through a mail in game.
Staff Positions available:
Town Assistants: The main role of our assistants will be to help our residents around the town. You could consider yourself a moderator, enforcing the rules, helping people who don't know the towny plugin as much as you, and fixing problems that arise in Windermere. If you feel you can fit the bill, feel free to apply. (Remember to put your past towny experience in the past experience, so we can get a better idea of how well you know this complex plugin).
Sub-mayors: sub-mayors work closely alongside the mayor and co-mayors. In order to be considered for this position, I personally must feel you're right for the position and can be trusted. Sub-mayors will help with the building, getting materials, help brainstorm ideas for the town, help players, organize plots, storage, etc. If you have any former towny experience this will definitely improve your chances.

I am back home in South Dakota after a month of being away due to my mom passing away. I'm happy to be back as I've missed you all and missed working on my town and helping out the server.
So if you need anything in-game, don't hesitate to ask! Also, thank you for all the sweet commands and sympathy wishes. It's been a very hard last month. We have such a wonderful community here.

For the past month I've been in North Carolina taking care of my mother who died this past Tuesday. I'll be here for another week before taking the long drive (with a little dog) back to South Dakota. It's been a difficult time but I've had the wonderful support of my family and my family here on Noobscraft. My mom was my best friend, my role model and my inspiration. She lost her battle to cancer but she put up one hell of a fight and while Cancer got ahold of her body it never got ahold of her soul and her spirit. She will be greatly missed but she is with me. Hi all!
I wanted to give an update on my upcoming leave of absence. I will be going home to NC as it looks like my moms cancer journey is coming to a close. I will be gone for at least 3 weeks with limited internet. I don't mind telling you about this personal bump in the road as you are all like a family to me. I will miss you all but I will be back.
Behave and continue to be the wonderful community that you are.

Windermere will be hosting a repair event during the Noobscraft's 4th birthday party. We will take advantage of the x3 mcmmo xp during that time and party it up!
Where: Windermere City Hall (from spawn, go straight into that building. Repair event will take place upstairs on the right side of the building).
When: March 18 2015 @ 2 PM MST (4 PM EST / 1 PM PST)
Who's invited: anyone!
Do I need to bring anything? If you wish to bring your own items to repair, please do. We will provide bows and string. Other than that, just bring your party hats and your friends!

    Windermere now has French stalls under the Eiffel Tower. The Stalls act like shops where you can sell 5 items. 3 single chested items and 2 items in bulk (using a double chest). These stalls are open to anyone who feels they can keep it stocked. They will work somewhat like an embassy but they're unique in there own way. So if you want one, you'll need to make sure you know exactly what you want to sell! These stalls only cost 1k with no taxes. There are 22 stalls available. Simply fill out this app below and I will get back to you regarding your application. IGN:

Bonjour! We are happy to announce that France is open to the public starting today! We have many plots for sale for 2500 including embassies for 5K! These plots/embassies have a great view of the Eiffel Tower and will go quickly! Please reserve your spot in Windermere now! (P.S. no taxes on anything in all of the city!) With these plots, they're set up a bit differently than the rest of the town. All the same rules apply. 20 block height limit, but you can go underground, but YOU CANNOT MAKE 1 STRUCTURE OVER 2 PLOTS. You can have 2 plots but they must be next to each other rather than one large structure. We still have plenty of shop plots open and we have plots open on the other side of town as well! If you wish to become a resident, please contact gamergirlxo either in-game or via the forums on the site. You can always speak with any other town staff member. I'm expecting something from each of you! haha jk.
Strange to think I'll be 24. This year, I know, will be a very hard year and I'm preparing myself for it. When you're younger, you think life gets easier when you get older, it doesn't. I think it gets worse because you've come to grips with emotions and reality and politics and the world around us. While it gets harder, it makes you stronger. In the last few months I've dealt with my own personal battles (anxiety and depression) as well as the health of a loved one; one of the greatest people in my life, my mother. With everything going on I have become stronger and I have become a better person because I'm dealing with reality and my now mental illnesses.
My wish for my birthday this year is that you never give up hope, you never give up on yourself. There have been days where I've wanted to give up, I've felt so defeated and lost but there are people around you that want to see you succeed and be great.
Not sure why I typed this up, some may not care but birthdays are always a nice time to reflect and I suppose in this post, that's what I'm doing.
Here's to another year on Noobscraft! Thank you for the continued support of my town, my mod-ship and of course your friendship. Noobscraft has definitely been a great help for my anxiety and helped to keep my mind off things.

     Welcome to 2015 from everyone in Windermere! We are proud to announce that we have recently added all 4 of the major spawners to Windermere! Cow, chicken, sheep and pig! These spawners are only to be used by town residents and staff. We are in the process of developing France and continuing to expand the town (well seems more like a city now). France is under construction but we hope to have plots available very soon. Our city hall for France has been completed as you can see above. We are still expanding the city as a whole, each day new plots are being made to help fulfill everyone's wishes. Facts about Windermere that ended us in 2014: Residents : 114 Chunks claimed : 860 Town bank : accumulated a little over 1 million noobz Staff : 7 staff members including myself Hexidecima was promoted to sub-mayor in early 2015. Warriorben was promoted to sub-mayor at the end of 2014. jUggalLOOo420 was added at the end of 2014 as a Town Assistant. Congrats to them! We're excited to see the work you do in 2015! - We offer 3 different mob grinders spread out around the town. (2 skelly and 1 zombie)
- We have a beautiful shopping district featuring a newly added memorial fountain to honor those who suffer with mental illness.
- We have a dedicated town staff that works (almost) around the clock to improve the town and make sure residents are at their happiest
- We also offer seasonal contests for our residents that can include money, diamonds and a commemorative prize.[/li/

Join Windermere this year as we celebrate Halloween and the month of October. We'll have decorations around town, monsters will spawn during the week of Halloween, take a look around the haunted flat in England, and Halloween night will open something spooky that lies beneath town. Also during the month of October we will be hosting a "spookiest skin" contest. Winner of the most spookiest skin in the town of Windermere will win 30,000 noobz and a special commemorative pumpkin. There will only be 1 winner.Rules: must be a resident of Windermere. Only one skin entry per resident. Skins must meet server rules. Nothing inappropriate or suggestive. You cannot enter someone into the contest for them. they must speak with me directly. You cannot join the town to enter the contest and then leave. You must join the town for the right reasons, not just to increase your chance of winning. DEADLINE TO ENTER WILL BE OCTOBER 30th.
