Clash I completely respect that your opinion on lava being cool and awesome. And you are completely right it is awesome, I've made castles with big bridges running across motes of lava and it looks badass. Although I hope you can understand it is dangerous and potentially a hazard to other peoples belongings. Lava and Fire have been disabled and re-enabled for a long long time now and our player base is just fine.

Hello Noobs of Noobstown, I'm here to bring up a matter you'll all be familiar with; Iconomy. I know that our server has the tendency to... hate us and we - the staff team - know your money is quite dynamic as it tends to come and go... We apologize for this as it is completely unintentional and irrational and if we could prevent it we would and we are trying to find a fix. But until we can actually know that there is almost no chance that it can happen again we will probably not post any assurances.
There is something I want to get through to you all and it is this. When chaos erupts on our server and a 'catastrophic' event happens like money loss etc we respect you may be upset and concerned. Although this does not give you permission to ignore our rules. As I've noticed many people are always spamming our global chat with messages like; "OMFG WTF IS MY MONEY" "WHAT HAPPENED TO MY 100k!?" "OMFG MY BLEEPING MONEY IS GONE BLEEP" Despite the chaos already happening, spamming, swearing, thieving and griefing do not help on top of this. You will be punished in an event like this just as quickly as you would in normal circumstances for breaking our rules.
Thank you to those who remain themselves calm and stray away from being disruptive.

I'd just like to 'clear up a few things' too.
1. You always whine about not being a mod yet you never help newcomers when they join the server all you do is spam ' Caps off' so much that it's only you disrupting the global chat. If people are using caps, let the members that are being annoyed or yourself report them to an admin, instead of saying 'caps off' all the time. The moderators will deal with them appropriately, don't take our law into your own hands.
2. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated, you may think your reports are clever because you've only taken time to screenshot the things that have been said to YOU. Although I know your no angel as I've had many complaints about the way you act to our regular members.
Basically from reading this you should learn that there is a lot wrong with spamming 'caps off' Especially when we tell you not to do it. Our rules were made by Joe, and this post tells me you are telling our members to break our rules and thus are disrespecting Joe's judgement. I suggest you delete this topic or take it up personally with Fatnoob via PM.

Don't take advice from someone recommending their own town.
Please check out the town's section of the forum (We're here already  ) And check each different topic and choose for yourself which one looks the most appealing. That way you'll experience Noobstown the way you want to and if none take your fancy try meeting some friends and living in the wild with them, some prefer it to the busy towns.

Lawrence is correct, I am from the US and although this is mainly toward the US it will affect everyone. For example if this site was blocked noobstown would lose more than 50% of its members. If I am not mistaken the S.O.P.A. act is trying to be passed to stop people from stealing copyrighted items. (Just incase you didn't know) So all the music you hear on Youtube that has been upload by a random person will be gone. This is a very big deal and hope it won't interfere with my access to noobcraft!
Another thing according from what I have heard , the USA president Barack Obama is opposed on passing of this law, so it may be unlikely this falls into play.
If I'm right Barack wont be the president for too much longer now, so we better just hope that he runs again for president.

Oh hairy god... I remember It used to take me a whole minecraft day to make a little cave to spend the night in. Because I never knew there was pickaxes in minecraft... I discovered that swords made breaking thinks faster, so I would dig my little caves with many wooden swords. Then I was told you got stone in the game but all I had ever had was wooden tools, I searched up and apparently you get pickaxes? What is this technology?

As you will or will not know many sites went down today as a symbollic act against the SIPA and SOPA act. I'm not talking about many, I'm talking about thousands. http://blacklists.eff.org/ Here is a harmless link to a page telling you a little more about it. In short (Geoish) form. If these acts pass, the internet is screwed over. Every single one of you here use the internet to access this site, if the internet is blacklisted and restricted, we may never be able to access some of our favourite sites again. Be part of the rebellion, protest again this act and do the world of technology favour. You may think you can't change much but you are not along. This forum has two thousand members. This is only one forum, think how many server there are on minecraft. That is only one game, think how many games are out there that have servers that have forums that have people like YOU! That will help prevent these acts from passing!
Don't just do it for yourselves, do it for the internet!

They don't play all sent in maps as there isn't 500 hours in a day. The do play some maps but it'd have to be recognized on minecraftforum.net. We could help you.
