Hey,
I understand your concerns and I personally do feel disconnected from the community at this current time but we are going through massive changes, lots of stuff going on in real life for me and trying to balance it all whilst working to some crazy deadlines is taking it's toll. Once v6 comes out everything will have calmed down by this point and we'll have plenty of free time to come on and interact with you all, I can't wait for that day either.
We aren't distancing ourselves on purpose, we are trying to focus on the future of the server by coming online we won't be making progress on the new version.
I hope you understand these are difficult times. Like we have said before, if you hold on tight you'll see what awesome stuff we have to offer in v6. Those who leave now and leave for good will miss out, I promise you this.
Not only this but I also run another community which is the Minecraft Apocalypse server, I obviously have to separate my time between the two communites to ensure both stay stable. I am working on the new version in my free time whilst also managing the community on Apocalypse. I'm trying my best, I'm no superman however.
Okay this makes sense. Thanks for the feedback. Also, I have a quick question, why did V5 last as long as it did while the other 4 versions were only for a few months?

Back in the day there was a need for more mods because many of them were not online enough so noobstown needed more mods. Now with better tools and more active moderators this is not an issue. Just about any time I log in there is a moderator on. If there is not, wait for 10 minutes and I am sure one will log on.
Sometimes I will be online for hours and not see a single moderator log in.

This is mainly to the admins but also to everyone else. I DO NOT MEAN THIS IN ANY HARMFUL WAY JUST MY OPINION! (I am also not telling you how to run your server just what I feel about it)
I believe one way to keep more members here at Noobscraft would be to have the Admins be online more. One of the main reasons I stayed at Noobscraftia is because the Admins were online so much. If anything I received more help from the admins in my early days than from the mods. I think it helps bond the community together, and would really help keep more players playing at Noobscraft, improving the popularity. (That is what we all want right?) Now I know that the admins have a VERY busy schedule and I respect that. But, how have things changed that much in 2 years? 2 years ago the admins were as online as much as mods. Now, they aren't.. Sure, you start college etc. I understand that but you still found chances to play during High School. Why not now? Also, I feel as if the community isn't the same as it was originally supposed to be. I only joined because it was a survival RPG, Not a Towny Trading Game. In addition to most of that, look at all of the powerful players we have lost because of this. Imagine adding more to the server, More as in different worlds to do different things. Have a MiniGames world, have a PvP world, have a Towny world, have a RPG world, etc. Look at what that would do to bring in more players. Sure Noobscraft is getting 50+ new guests logging in each day and 20+ new members a day, but look at how much that has dropped recently.
The staff team. I know this may be touchy to talk about, but I'm doing so anyways. A team of 10+ Moderators and 4 admins went down to a team of 6 Moderators and 3 admins in less than a year. Mostly because of Staff stepping down, look at what that says. Waterworth knows what I'm talking about. Other Staff members know what I'm talking about.
That is all I have to say for now.
TL;DR The admins need online more, add more stuff to keep players coming back, what is supposed to be the gamemode here, Staff team improvements.

No, you can only edit the chunk if you have purchased it. Land that has not been purchased cannot be built on either.
Correct. Unless you have been added to someone's land of course then you can build on another players purchased land.

IGN: nebih AGE: 13 TIMEZONE: CST ACTIVITY: I'm usually online 6+ hours a day. (I haven't been online lately because of school just starting.  ) WHY?: I would like to be part of the staff team that has kept me around for 2 years. I feel as if I could help moderate when there aren't mods online and when I feel people are being inappropriate in chat. I also think I could help with keeping other issues like griefs and chat spam down as well. I have been on the forums a lot and have quite a bit of experience with towny/most of the commands of the server. EXPERIENCE: I have ran my own server, been mod on 3-4 other servers and have been playing Noobscraft for 730+ days. (over 2 years). I am exceptionally trained at /kick and /ban. Because of how long I have been around I am familiar with all of the commands that Noobstown has to offer to its community. OTHER: If I were given a chance to show myself worthy I would definitely be able to show. I can be funny and will help cheer up others when chat is slow or when it is necessary. Today is my second year at noobscraft! that is madness! I can't believe and and I love all you guys so much  I think I'm going to tell my story of what I came to be here. (Well as much as I can remember. ) V1-V4 I first joined noobstown.com with forceop installed hoping to forceop and get myself admin and completely wreck the place. Once I found out it didn't work I just kept playing hoping to grief with things I got surviving. Turned out I came to like the staff and players. (Keep in mind at this time there were only like >30 slots and about 100ish members) One memory I still have in mind is the time when I took cover in a little abandoned shack and tried to speak in global chat but it didn't work for some reason. So I contacted Fatnoob who was online, and he helped me get into the right channel and learn to use HeroicChat. I walked around a bit and I remember seeing a replica of the Mistral City from the Yogscast's " Shadow Of Israphael" I did live in Lindatjuh's town for a while. I went out past it a ways and made a little camp and that took me ages because there weren't shears yet so I had to kill each sheep. BUT, I couldn't do that either because animals/hostiles were turned off at the time for lag. About the time of Version 3 through Version 4, I had made a new friend by the title of ipodjbmaster. He was 14 (3 years older than me at the time). I found out he knew how to code and had made an XRay mod. Once I discovered he was using this XRAY, I left him and kept blocking him on Skype no matter how many new accounts he made. He keeps lieing and saying he just got back from fighting in the army.(Obvously a lie as you can not fight in the army as a 14 year old. Other wise I would.) I'm still mad that he tried to pull that stunt at me. I did help EmperorMyrf dig out some cave homes even though he did a lot of the digging. The server reset from v3 to v4 because some hackers corrupted the map sadly. I was working on my blacksmith in Myrf's little town. :C V5 Not 6 months after I joined the server, they made it to V5! Noobscraft had also hit many milestones of new members, and I couldn't believe it. It was just crazy how many players just kept joining. I ran from the beautiful spawn (no market district yet) and lived with EmperorMyrf in Empire. I stayed there for a couple months until Faroutdudes5 asked if I would help him with his underground town. We called it " DeepHaven". (That was really 1 year ago?!) It was basically a town, except underground. We tried many different entrances with it. We ended up with one at the surface and a hole with a little water p00l at the bottom. Faroutdudes5 had to leave noobs because he was moving IRL, and he left as Mayor and his TAs all left except for me. I was basically caring for the town for almost 2 months! If it weren't for me, the town would have died. There is still a memorial for it where the grave of the town is slowly rotting and getting griefed to bits and pieces. I texted Faroutdudes5 about his town and he was very greatful for what I was doing. A little while later, I was contacted by AQW_Assassian01, TwistedLover, TidalMewMew, and Esp1222, about giving me Esp1222's old town because he didn't want it anymore. I decided "Sure, why not" and he gave me the town. I unclaimed it all and moved to a new area and made the new town spawn. Most if not all of the old residents came back and it was a nice peaceful town. I was called "Gardell" Luckily its still alive even though the mayor has been gone for 2+ months. After being mayor of Gardell for about 3 or 4 months I decided it was time to move on. I sold it to Trock2772 for like 250k. I kept walking in one direction and found a nice little cliff side to live on. After moving all my stuff over and digging out a big portion I kept hearing cows moo every so often. After investigating I discovered I made my new house right on top of Esp1222's Fallout shelter! He said it was fine and told me to just look over it for him. I just kept living out of this house and made a little hole (39x40) down to bedrock. I put in 2 layers of sugar cane farm, and then added in a titanic memorial for the 101th year of it sinking. As of now I have medium-low levels and little money but a fairly nice sized house with what little riches I have left slowly being used up. But I don't need money or high levels to be happy here at Noobscraft. All I need is the support and the friendliness of the server and I'm good. Thank you for reading my summed up version of my 2 year story. This is all of I could think of as of tonight. I literally spent an hour writing this. (These are just the memories I can remember!) No, simple as that.
If I had to come with an idea that wouldn't ruin the point of VIP, I would say raising the Noobz amount you get, making it Tokens instead in till V6, or a VERY small amount of Points, like 50 each vote.
They said they would not make voting give you points. Because points are for donaters only.

If your issue is with a particular Minecraft mod I assume that they will have a support site/topic relating specifically to it.
Okay. I was mainly asking here because some people are smart, and know what this stuff means. I just wanted to understand what it ment.
