Its kept forever. When they announced the veteran being introduced it was said to be forever.

DISCLAIMER: If this can't be here let me know please! I will remove it immediately and seek help else where.
So, this is what happened. Lately I got into Tekkit again and have been playing on this one server. (NO IP TO ANYONE) I got kicked when I jumped into my private river and started flying with my swiftwolf ring. The error I get is: "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Not in GZIP format".. Before you ask, yes I have reinstalled it. Yes I can connect to other servers. When I try to connect on my sisters computer I get this error: "Internal Exception: java.util.zip.zipException: Not in GZIP format".. What the heck does this mean? How does one go abouts fixing this? Thanks!

This would just end as a popularity contest between a small group of active forum users, instead of them going to people who actually deserve it.
Well technically the forum users are more updated with what is happening in Noobscraft. Making them more active.

Yea it'll be this way for V7 too. It was this way for V2, V3, V4, and V5.. Its the way the world goes 'round. Besides this is the longest a map has ever lasted. For a year and like 3 months or something.. I say it's just fine.

This is what I do instead.. After reading the whole thread again, im getting slightly annoyed by the fact that people complain about the reward and being in a group. The Thread clearly did not say you should build in a group, then its just common sense that the reward will be for 1 person. In all the time people complained they could have build something for themselfs, yet they still have 7 days to build something. So just go build something already, and put some passion and love in it because its INSTANT veteran we are talking about here, its a quite big award you get.

They could probably make it so that killing zombies gives you kills, and you can use kills to buy weapons. Maybe they could make it all bows and you use your kills to enchant your bow to make it more like COD. There could be a minecart and then it could be TranZit. you could get splash potions of health as revives. Overall, I like the idea!

I say neither. I think saying 0.69 Noobz is fine. Or 0.96 Noobz. Adding in the extra name will just confuse new members and can cause some misunderstandings..

If it isn't as powerful as it is on many other servers I seen this command one, which is like when you type the command you see all the players within 300 blocks or so, If this was gone be implemented on Noobs, I would say a radius of like 50 blocks or less would be fair.
my main point was who could see me in local. And I understand the whole privacy thing, which is why I want to add it. It will add privacy to what people can see when someone were to test words etc in local.

I think that Noobstown should implement a Call Of Duty Style Zombies Map. For those of you who don't know what this is, It's basicly endless waves of zombies. Except you start with almost nothing. The more you kill the more you can buy stuff (Maybe use levels as currency) and the goal is to last as long as you can. Anyone else?

I don't know what this will hurt by adding it back. I know it was never enabled but it would be nice to know who is near you. For those of you who don't know what it is.. It's a command that tells you the distance the closest players are from you. I think it should be added so we can tell who can see our local chat. What do you think?
