I totally agree with you, but there's server owners who put an age restriction (Or atleast a rating such as 14+) on there servers that allow you to swear, or act mean. I'm referring to servers such as role-play servers that allow you to play in-character .
But some kids lie about their age so they can get onto servers.

When we originally set up the Veteran rank it was not to reward our long term players it was as a way to ensure that those members who Donated to us before we updated the donation system received a fair reward for what they were originally told they would receive. This happened to match the beginning of V5 as this was when we introduced the automated donations and Points system.
The term "Veteran" was probably not the best term we could have selected, as it seems to be causing some confusion these days. Taking a definition of the term isn't an explanation of how we have used the word. But back when it was introduced (and still) it has nothing to do with how long you have played. Not to say this may or may not change in the future.
Being a Veteran isn't even the top level any more since our latest VIP upgrade Veterans are actually able to upgrade their account to include new VIP features such as the warps, chest/workbench access, increased McMMO, etc.

I believe the admins do a good job at running the forums. You try and be an admin. Look at it from their view. You have over 25k people from all around the world. Do you have the time with college (I remember the admins saying they were in college right?) And a server and a forum and another server, to answer all the questions? ...

Nebih, I think I know you want Veteran, because you've been on here for a whole year. 
But the Veterans are only those who have DONATED before V5. Maybe if after you donated, you might
wanna ask an admin.
I actually think Nebih has been here from the very beginning .
I have. Approaching 2 years soon. This May actually. EDIT: Another thing. Veteran does mean someone who has had long experience in a field or occupation. So Doing this would deem appropriate.

I know Veteran is for people who donated before V5. But, I had an idea. Maybe people who have been online the server a certain amount of time. (Like for example since 2011) They get the veteran rank? Please give some feedback! I would love to hear what you guys think!

Well, As you may or may not know. Noobstown IS in V5. Meaning we have lost all of our stuff before. And yes it's frusturating. But you know what? You build a bridge and get over it.

Honestly, I'm against this. If they were to reset the outside world, which i'm guessing is the main world. All the towns and stuff would be gone. The new world would cause stress on the server, and there would be too many questions about it.
