Here a few guides that might help you :)

http://www.noobscraft.com/guides/v6-guide-best-way-to-earn-noobz/

http://www.noobscraft.com/guides/v6-wilderness-guide/

I'd reccommend finding a place for your wilderness plot if you haven't already, just so you can start out a base. Then I'd follow the first guide to help earn some money to be able to buy things, etc. You can also do /vote in game, and earn 2500 noobz.

Any 'method' you use that gives you vanilla xp, is an extra bonus, .. enchant and keep the tools you want, SELL the rest. Free xp + a few items == high profit.
Exactly! :)

Guides / V6 Guide: Best way to earn Noobz
« on: 5 Jun 2014, 05:25:13 »
Are you looking to earn Noobz in a very fast and easy manner? This guide will help you do just that! I'm going to share my best secrets of earning money quickly and easily. Including, the Diamond method, The Tree Method, Voting method, Mining Method (Goes along great with the diamond method!), and finally The Farming Method.

The Diamond Method
This is also the Mining Method ;)
(BONUS! Earn some Mining Skill in the process! :))
This is really the quickest way to find diamonds. No more need for those big quarry holes, silly strip mines, branch mines, whatever you kids use these days. Let me introduce to you a method I myself invented (I think!!)!

This is what we need to know about my diamond method. Primarily on the X and Z coordinates. (I'd recommend starting at y=15 for eye pos.)

Alright, now look at the x coordinate. In my example, it says:
x: -10755 // c:-673 (12)
y: 80 (feet pos, 81.620 eyes pos)
z: 11140 // c:696 (4)

The main thing we care about is the c: number (this number here)
The eye pos will help you get to y=15. The main trick is to use the (this number here) to your advantage. The way chunks work in Minecraft is very simple. I'm going to call the (this number here) thing, Chunk block. Anyways, the ChunkBlock will range from 0-15. When the chunk block on 'X' and the chunk block on 'Z' both equal 0, you've found yourself a chunk corner! Next thing to do is to find the 'X' chunk block to equal 0 and the 'Z' to equal 15. That is the next corner. 'X' and 'Z' to both equal 15, third corner. And finally, the fourth corner is when 'Z' is equal to 0, and 'X' is equal to 15.

Now, how we use this to our advantage is how Minecraft spawns in Diamond veins per chunk. A diamond will spawn at y=15 and below. Veins will have 1-8 diamond ores in them. I'd recommend getting yourself a silk touch pickaxe (iron or diamond) and a fortune III pickaxe (iron or diamond) for best results. Use superbreaker and silk touch the ores. Then wait for superbreaker to regenerate and use the fortune III after placing the ores back down.

After finding the chunk corners, dig down to y=15(should be eyes pos) and mine out the chunk. Dig this area down to bedrock and you are bound to find a diamond ore vein. Even if you don't find diamonds, you get a lot of coal, iron, gold, redstone, and cobblestone. You can sell all of that and get quite a bit of money. (16x16 area, 4 stacks of cobblestone per layer, about 14 layers, at 192nbz per stack in /shop, = ~10k from just cobble!) Once you get 16 diamonds, sell them in /shop and there you go! 19.2k very quickly! (You can only do this once every 24 hours though!)

Another quick note, If you buy Diamond ores for less than 2k a piece, Fortune III them, you will earn profit in the long run. Fortune III and diamond ores will get you a profit if you buy enough ores. Buy in bulk, make max profits! :)

The Voting Method
This method is a very easy way to earn money quickly. If you log in at say, 4PM and do /vote, fill out the ReCaptcha, enter your username(CaSe SeNsItIvE!), and click vote, you earn 2,500 Noobz. Next day, Log in at 4:01PM and do /vote. 2,500 Noobz in one day, after a week you've earned 17,500 Noobz. After 30 days, you've earned 70k. It really is easy money just by doing a command and filling out a few spaces!
NINJA EDIT: I forgot to mention, top voters of each month can earn up to 50k BONUS Noobz! Totally worth it! :)

The Tree Method
(BONUS! Earn some woodcutting skill in the process.)
Another very easy method to earn money! Go to the Mining World, and get some saplings. This is rather self explanatory. Plant some saplings, bone meal them(optional), chop them down, and repeat!

The Farming Method
(BONUS! Earn Herbalism in the process!)
This method is mediumly difficult. If you have found enough iron for a bucket, go to the Mining world, and collect a bucket of water. Go back to your plot in the wild world, and place it 3 away from the border of your plot on all sides. Get a hoe, and till the land in all 4 directions for 3 blocks. It should end up a 7x7 square of tilled land with the middle block being water. Put a slab or a block over the water, plant some seeds and bonemeal them or wait for them to grow. Rinse and repeat until you earn enough money to buy more plots and make bigger farms!

I hoped you have enjoyed my Guide. If you have any questions, feel free to comment and ask. :)

Durp Edit: I forgot to mention the Lottery as another source of income. It's not very reliable, but it can make a nice payout if you get lucky enough. 50 Noobz per ticket, max of 3 tickets. Not one of the best ways to earn Money, but still a way.

Towns & Nations / DeepHaven Residents / Town Info
« on: 26 May 2014, 20:40:49 »
Hello! DeepHaven is an underground town, founded by me and djmanwild (also a few others). If you wish to join our town, you have to be accepted in an application. There are limited plots, but as time goes on, more will be available. I would prefer if you would message your applications to me on the forums. This is just a test to see how much of this post you actually read. Also, DH is short for DeepHaven, just letting you know to avoid confusion. :)

Rules of DH:
Rule #1: Follow all Server & Site Rules. We don't want any rule breakers in our town! Gotta have a good rep.
Rule #2: Do not ask for town ranks. If you ask for a town rank, you probably will never get it. Those who earn it, will get it eventually.
Rule #3a: No building above ground on your plots. The whole point of having an underground town is to keep the landscape above ground looking beautiful.
Rule #3b: Stay within the boundries. Ontop of staying underground, do not mine or build above the ceiling of the town. You may have basements (if there is room underground), but don't go above the ceiling while building.
Rule #4: Do NOT mine out other plots. The only time you can help mine out the other plots is if a town rank (mayor, co-mayor, sub-mayor or assistant) ask for you to help. Usually there won't be permissions to help mine it out anyways.
Rule #5: HAVE FUN! If you don't have fun, what's the point in playing? Am I right?
Rule #6: If you are disrespectful or rude, you will be kicked immediately. ZERO tolerance for rude people.

Other things to know about DH:
The spawn was designed by djmanwild. Nebih helped with the cave entrance idea, and a few touch ups to the exit of spawn.
We do not have taxes. (As of right now) We like to run the town off of donations purely. :)
There are three farms in the town. They are located in the North-West corner, South-West corner and South-East corner.
In the North-East corner, there is a town park. It's a very nice place for dates and what not. :)
The town is divided into 5 parts. The outer rim, and the four inner sections. The outer rim consists of only Resident plots. The four inner sections have, (starting on the furthest north section) Shop plots, Resident plots, Resident plots and embassy plots.

If you have any questions feel free to message me here on the forums or with /mail in game! (username: nebih)

Resident Application:
Code: [Select]
Username:
Age (optional, has no effect on your application just seeing what the age range is.):
How long have you been playing Noobscraft?:
How long do you plan to stay on Noobscraft?:
Did you read all of the rules?:
Did you really?:
What is rule #3? [Explain in your own words.(Yes both parts a&b)]:
Timezone (again, optional, just seeing where our residents are from in the world):
How often are you online?:
What are your thoughts on town tax?:

I (username), accept the terms and rules of DeepHaven.

Thanks for having interest in my town and reading on and on about all this.

Have a nice day! ^~^

-Nebih

EDIT(5/26/14): It appears I forgot to mention plot prices.

Resident Plot: 5k (All that takes is two days of /vote. Not that bad.)
Shop Plot: 7.5k (3 days of voting. Plus other methods.)
Embassy Plot: 10k (Highest price to make up for being part of a different town.)

EDIT(6/10/14):Below I have attached an image. I created a town plan, just to help show what I was trying to explain in the above. The white legos, are roads, the Green are where the farms are, black on is the park, Tan pieces are resident plots, Brown legos are the embassy plots, and the yellow are the Shop plots. :)

EDIT(7/1/14): I'm applying a new rule to the town regarding absences. You can have up to 1 month of leave without notice. After the 1 month, I'll give you 24 hours. If you haven't contacted me directly via PM on the forum, /mail ingame, or some other form of communication, your plots will go to the town and all of the items on your plots will be removed. Thank you for understanding.

EDIT(9/4/14): I'm changing the new rules regarding town absence. Instead of 1 month of leave without notice I'm going to extend it to 90 days. This way it is the same amount of time as the wild chunks. Thank you for understanding, and I hope you continue to show interest in helping out mine the town :)

What if I change my username from "nebih" to "Nebih"?? Will that screw all my stuff up and not let me online? :c
Sadly yes this is included (the data is case-sensitive), you can however wait to change your name because eventually we do plan to allow those with changed names to connect, and no one else will be able to register with the uppercase one as your lowercase version already exists.
Okay great! Thanks for the feedback. :)

WHY?: I would like to run my own town again.

EXPERIENCE: Currently a Sub-Mayor :3. I have owned 2 different towns. I have also helped build towns and develop them from village to city.

TIME: If I were to get a town, I can get plenty of time to care for my town and keep it amazing. :)

PLAN: I was thinking on doing something again that I did before.. I don't really want anyone else to take my idea tho D: *cough* DeepHaven v2 *cough*

Agreement

I (nebih) accept the liability of the role and all of the citizens in my town.
Money acquired. :)
