I saw something like this on page 26 of Other and thought it would be cool. What are your favourite minecraft mods and why?
Mine is Technic because I have no clue how to get other mods on the Technic Launcher.
So post here and a picture would be nice too (not a requirement though)
Do modpacks counts too? Technical/modern mods- Feed The Beast (Mindcrack , Ultimate , Unleashed, Direwolf20`s pack) , RPG mods- divine rpg & hexxit. PvP mods- Voltz , Lapito`s Galactic craft.

I'll be the annoying guy and ask: how will this be any different from looking up a tutorial and follow with a step by step test build? It's not like there's nothing like that already offered (at almost professional level) out there.
Anyone interested enough in improving at the game can easily find such resources.
Wikis, blueprints, tutorials, game theory/mechanics, etc... all faster ways to accomplish that compared to gathering people online and dealing with schedules.
Let alone that if I went and said "I will teach you how to do stuff because I'm good with it" without giving examples I'm pretty sure I'd sound like a presumptuous [insert bad person label here], and for good reasons.
I see your point, but there one thing that making learning online with someone on server better then just go and watch some tutorials on youtube. The key to success is some good practice, and if you having someone who can watch what you doing and say if it looking nice/what details you need to add/how scaling goes and etc. Then you will actually learn faster because someone will help you with the practice, and to understand how things goes. Also i can agree that seeing basic tutorials on youtube will have same effect as seeing someone doing it near you on a server, but when it come to practice then the "school" idea will actually help. Moving on, giving examples of your own builds it is really important, and if the school idea will actually start, then there will be needed some kind of application, with images of your works/projects.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to use redstone? How about how to make your builds look better? Or do you just want to learn how Minecraft works and what it's really like behind the pixels? Well then my V6 Minecraft School is for you! On a certain day not yet decided I will have classes to teach everyone who wants to learn more about Minecraft Vanilla or even how to use some of the plugins on the server. Most classes will be free (like plugin classes, or what Minecraft is like on the inside) But some classes will cost a some Noobz due to the fact I will have to pay for materials or there really hard to teach/time consuming. So if you want to learn about Minecraft a bit more, come on down!
Well this is awesome idea. i actually thought before of making build school, so i will can tech some players better building techniques and some specific styles of building (ex` modern,medieval,steampunk and etc.)

Ok, I want to say that i am honored for being awarded scariest skin. But now im looking back on it these comments are very hurtful and mean. so what i used another skin to use in this contest i won fair and square there is nowhere were it says "use your own skin, cant copy". i love Noobscraft and everyone in it but people when you win a contest who ever is the winner is final. Miner,Alpha are mad at me because a skin i used was better. i though this would be a little fun contest where people in the noobscraft community could come together and have a little competition. Plus plagiarize is when you take credit for someone else is work, PlanetMinecraft lets you use skins that other people make you can use it to your heart content. I bet most people who submitted a skin was made from someone else. Fatnoob Thank You For This Honor And Long Live Noobscraft!!!.
Well peoples just mad because you stole from them chance to win, with something that they made. But don`t get me wrong, i am not against you or mad (as i don`t even take part in the contest). you did win, and Congrats for it. But as some peoples mention, this topic may should be locked/deleted, because it will generate some "hate".. p.s. PMC have rules about using someone skin, in contests , or for profit of all kind. (just saying)
