This has also happened just randomly too.  I will place a block and try to delete my mistake and it will say this block has been locked for no reason.  I don't understand this as there are not any private blocks next to it.

Lukestar ur still in school?!?!?

It all started at guest spawn on June 23, 2012, which is tomorrow so this is perfect timing for my memories to be shared.  I then pulled a classic one and asked 'how do I leave spawn?'  I was then bombarded with the other classic 'read the signs!'  Once i learned my lesson there I set off for the Wilderness where i gathered my resources and built my first house on this server.  Now, I was very lucky to never be grieved while every house around me was being grieved as this was before the /grief command.  Once I had become more of a hardened noob on the server I learned about towns.  My first town was Honeybell Blossom which sadly no longer exists, some of you may remember about that town.  I heard about that town being shut down a month before it did so I set off looking for a new place to settle and build away from all the grieving.  I ended up finding a little island out in the ocean.  I settled there alone with my newly tamed 1.2 cat, Pickles.  Pickles, a tabby and I went on numerous adventures together or when at home he was in his cat house.  It was awful when one day he just disappeared.  I was unable to explain this occurrence until more recently when I became aware of the scheduled mob clearances.  R.I.P Pickles my buddy.  After this happened I decided I could not live on my island alone, I must find a town.  I went town surfing, just going down the list trying to find a suitable town for me.  Then I met Craftixen, my best buddy on the server.  He took me to the town Seaside or as I call it the town in the sky for the amount of skys****ers it has, he showed me all of Seaside, offered me a job collecting ores and even sold me an apartment.  My original reason staying in Seaside was I saw an amazing noob making opportunity with the town's sugarcane farm.  I went up to the farm daily grabbing all that I could and adding in to my balance of noobs.  These I then used to buy a plot in seaside because the apartment life just was not for me.  I bout a plot pretty far back in the city and sometime later I had a new neighbor.  Smurfstompa had moved in next door to me.  Even though he was new to the server he was not new to building.  Immediately he 4 plots in a square and began his enormous builds.  I went over to check out his build and I met him and we became friends.  This was fun especially when it came to Christmas time in the city.  He mined out his basement and placed a huge tree down there to celebrate.  A few days before Christmas came he told me and a few others to come on over because he had presents.  It was a great occasion as he gave diamonds and cake in my chest but the best of all was the book he wrote to me.  It is my most prized possession on the server and will be sad to see it go when the version changes to V6 but it will forever remain in my chest in the zombie dungeon keeping the memory alive.  After a while of living in seaside the town became a bit dull.  Not many people ever came on and at most times I was the only one on in the town.  It was time for another move.  I tore down my piston house and giant sugarcane farm on my two plots and went back to town surfing.  By now it was spring of 2013 so I knew what I was doing and had a few towns in mind and eventually settled on Dragonfire.  Right when I had gotten settled it happened unexpectedly.  The announcement for the version change.  At first I dreaded the change because I would have to start over.  But I realized it was a great thing.  I became very generous with my things since they would not matter later on.  It felt great to do that for people.  Then the veteran chance was announced, I learned everything about it and set to work.  If you guys remember from earlier in the story I told you about my herbalism money making opportunity, now since I did this my herbalism skill was already 400 plus.  I did /mctop herbalism and saw it, i had about 700 levels to go.  "I am never going to make this." I thought with a sad look on my face.  But things looked up I tried none the less.  The thing that really pushed me though was my new found friend ProtocolAlpha.  We were both going for the same goal of veteran in the herbalism skill.  We had the best competition going, friendly of course, we both tried to stay ahead of the other and this constant racing put us both on the top ten list just like we both dreamed.  As of now we sit comfortably at 4th and 6th place and are just awaiting the change of the version.

My V6 plans are to find a nice place in the Wilderness, use my ten free plots and then settle down with a big ranch house, lake and of course my giant sugarcane farm.  With that I will then get back to the top of the herbalism skill.  I am rocking V6 and it has not even started yet. :D

Well guys this is the end of my noobish journey, now all that is left is to sit in my chair and wait for the change.

Special Thanks to: Fatnoob, ItsLawrence, Waterworth, Long_Cat, Craftixen, ProtocolAlpha and Smurfstompa for making my journey on the Noobscraft server possible.  I will never forget you guys.

Just gonna put it out there so my man Foob can see.  Well what it is is an idea for a PVP arena with no worries of loosing items.  All you do is make the floor hoppers, buuuutttttt since you are not allowed to use hoppers yet on the server I have to leave my idea to Foob.  So Foob if you read this just comment what you think that would be great.

I had thought about what miner had said and that is actually what made me post the idea otherwise I would have kept it secret and it is not AFK abusing and you cannot use it for that either so I feel it is fine.  All of the tips are pretty much abusing the system in my opinion.

Materials: Iron hoe (if above level fifty use diamond), two pieces of dirt, iron block anvil, materials to repair your hoe with, and a double chest

Step 1: Place two pieces of dirt at your foot level.
Step 2: Place your double chest on the two pieces of dirt.
Step 3: Place anvil.
Step 4: Whip out that hoe.
Step 5: Hold right click and place cursor on the lip of dirt the chest exposes and in exact middle of two pieces of dirt.

This should cause the land to alternate between plowed and normal so all you have to do is stay still, hold down right click and your hoe should be used up in about a minute.

Step 6: Now that the hoe's durability is very low (press F3 and h at the same time to show exact durability) you can repair it.

I find this is a simple way to level up your repair very quickly and easily comment on the post if you feel I have left anything out.  :D
