You know that using a silk pick on mycel works the same as a shovel just saying
I mean sure it picks it up, but a shovel is designed to pick up Mycillium so I prefer that and some people do. Plus its much faster.

That is a MOD. Granted it is a SMP mod but it is a mod not a plugin. Anything that adds new items or blocks to the games can not be added.

Theres a plugin on the server that actually is fireworks that IS used for events. Fatnoob walks around setting them off, it sends tnt into the air and releases items.

Nice post Daniel but 1 hint, if you had used dokucraft on the pictures it would looked much better, trust me, I have seen your town with dokucraft on and it looks much better then with default ;-)
Texture packs appeal is relative to the user. Some people may not like Doku craft or lb realism or what ever so it is better to go with default because it really can't harm.

We are working on adding a spleef plugin so you can host your own spleef events and we'll probably set up some smaller pvp arenas for events in the future. Lots coming this summer!

I like the idea. The only thing is it would be impossible for everyone to have the same equipment. The admins are going to spend the time spawning a bunch of sets of armor or swords for people. It just isnt practical so we would just have to fight with what we have. And for the spleef I think it is more fun with more people so a 1 v 1 wouldnt be as enjoyable but we could do like 7-10 people in at a time and like the last 2 remaining or the last one remaining move one.

Im a turtle! But ya i agree that it isn't impossible to get a stack of diamonds within an hour. But that is with Fortune 3. A stack of the actual ore sounds a little bit ridiculous though.

Well before lasts week snapshot the leveling was linear meaning it was the same amount of XP per level, which also makes it much much faster, and in that snapshot it took 1/9th of the XP needed to get to the max (30) than it does to get to 50 now. Last week's snapshot however re-added exponential growth to the leveling which will add more time but it still will be much faster.

Master you disagree with the decision because you wanted to be mod. Theres no other reason. Now granted we do need a pacific mod but you are pushing for that even harder because you are a pacific timezone.
