Hm, it lagged for me at the first try too. Then I reinstalled it completely (deleting everythin of the old version first). You could try reducing some of the new graphicssettings (like Anisoptric filtering).
well it really only lagged on creative mode cuz of all the chunks loading and i was prob flying to fast. or idk really. its only temporary lag. i forgot to mention dat. DERP

Volcanobiomes might be something custom created here on Noobstown.
I couldn't decide between Savannah plateau, spiked ice and Mesa. Guess I'll just explore V6 and find to find a good looking spot without deciding for a biome first (and probably build a basecamp in one of the towns first as exploring can take a long time).
i've only found 3 of the new biome, i found the mega taiga, what i call the mushroom forest, trees are mushroom shaped and GIANT MUSHROOMS spawn there randomly and there is no mycelium there. or a biome i found filled with acacia trees. i swear those acacia trees look like they belong in the nether. they are so creepy looking...

1. Pokemon X. i had been waiting for this game OH MY GOD FOREVER. i am a pokemon addict so yeah, pokemon X!
2. Super Smash Bros Brawl. i had always wanted this one. it is super addicting. i just couldnt stop playing, then came along MC and i stopped playing...
3. Spore. i remember i saw spore in a store once. it was a PC game, i wanted that game so bad. frankly i'd be surprised if anyone here knew about it, its 5-6 years old. but anyone i got addicted to it and that addiction still holds, even on MC...
Actually i know spore very well, and i am big fan of it, it is awesome game i hope that EA will make spore II or something even when "maxis" now working on simcity..
p.s. I have all the expansions pack of spore (GA,C&C, and the robot part thingy), the rare Galactic edition of the game, and the limited edition darkspore.

1.Spore - awesome game, loved it so much, because like in minecraft you could do there anything you just want too.
2. Minecaft - not so hard to understand why, but again because of sandbox type of the game.
3. Half Life 2- (just because it was my first shooter game i ever played)
-Sure there tons of games out there that i like, but that are the best i know.
lol you haz now reached master status! xD. i only need the robot parts pack for my spore. already got galactic adventures and creepy+cute. i love the game. i recently made a completely insane, derpy adventure of derpness. check it out. LOL

No Mobs like the regular fish you can fish atm.
But apparently they added a graphics effect where bubbles move towards your hook right before something bites (haven't tried that myself though, just read it somewhere).
well played 1.7 a while ago. learned the hard way there is no fish mobs. tried to find a volcano biome, failed miserably, couldn't decide what biome to live in. eeeeeeek! Edit: at least we now have a reason to go fishing again, and fishing rods can actually be enchanted. DERP MERP
