They are adding 3 new types of fish. Salmon, Clownfish and Pufferfish. Salmon can be cooked as food (restores 3 food similar to the regular fish), pufferfish is poisonous but can be used for alchemy (waterbreathing potion), clownfish can be eaten raw (restores only 1 food).
i see. are they like mobs you can actually see or is it still fish arent mobs only items?

The fact that so many of us are patiently and eagerly waiting for an update says something. Some of us, including myself, aren't even playing on other servers during the wait. Noobscraft might as well be Minecraft to me. Without Noobscraft, I doubt I'd even really play the game.
you arent playing other servers? wow. i used to play mineapoc. i got tired of it, BUT with the candy update i can finally get OVerPowered diamond armor! yay! lol. we all want v6! xD

I would make a lot of smaller clouds instead of one huge cloud to make it look better and have glass bridges connecting them... and have glass roads maybe?

Anything they were to do now would just delay the opening even more. With the server offline they can dedicate all the time they have to gathering informations and testing stuff instead of having to take care of players and related problems.
And 1.7.1 is already out

enjoy the fall weather? where i'm at. its 40 degrees fahrenheit when i wake up in the morning! not to mention i have to wake up when its still dark. ironically. 6:30 am xavier time is still dark. until about 10 minutes later actually. but i would rather be: A. playing on MC right now B. playing on coolmath-games.(addicted to that. AARG) C. playing YU-GI-OH with my friends at school or D. not being outside. and let us not forget: E. THE LIGHT BURNS MY EYES!!! IT BURNS!!! lollol jk oh and F. i dont like summer that much. its always hot and there are always beetles and bees(i hate both those rotten insects) flying around CONSTANTLY! not to mention...GNATS!!!

woohoo. at least i can make someone happy. i am extremely unhappy right now. my english teacher just dumped a 1 page essay on us WITH NO NOTICE AT ALL. tells us we should get it done by tomorrow because, surprise surprise, the teacher is dumping YET ANOTHER ESSAY on us. i'm just thinking 'what the heck?!we're not machines!!' and its just really making me unhappy. so not like i'd be able to do v6 this weekend anyway... Edit: i mean i am in 11th grade. but that many essays in just 3 days? come on. thats completely stupid.

xavier redstone rules:
1. prototype it on creative mode first
2. put down a redstone repeater every time you place a line of 9 redstone.
3. DO NOT PUT REDSTONE ON GLOWSTONE
4. use daylight sensors to make a time activated thing, or use a redstone torch to make something that activates when the sun goes down.
5. make sure you are building on a good, flat environment.
6. BUILD YOUR MECHANISM ON PEACEFUL, if its a mob trap, turn the difficulty to easy and test out how you will get the mobs into the trap.
7.make sure you have enough materials to build your contraption!
edit: oh yah. if you do end up making a post a picture of your contraption post, and we can finally post pictures without having to put them up on an image hosting website. i can FINALLY show everyone my mob drowner from one of my superflat worlds.

They were special blocks, like the natural mobs spawner you could find in vanilla, but you could set them to spawn a specific type of neutral mob (sheep, cow, etc). The spawn rate was kinda slow to avoid lag and there was a limit to how many mobs would spawn.
That was the only method to avoid losing a whole animal farm due to despawning.
how do you get a custom mob spawner?

So there is still scheduled mob clearance because I heard mobs on your plot don't despawn.
It's not a scheduled thing anymore, it spawns/despawns mobs depending on how many players are nearby.
So even mob on your plot can despawn (especially if there's no one else around and you log off).
Basically it's not possible to get any sort of permanent animal farm from what we could see until now, unless we could just get multiple active pets that we can breed over and over.
(that or custom spawners, but nothing was said about those yet)
before i forget. can someone explain custom spawners to me please?
