I guess I will start with the V6 questions. Will normal vanilla villager trading be allowed since it would be nice to get some emeralds easy since they are only decoration and will sponges still have there modified water clearing use as in V5? Now for my public opinion question many of you already have a sweet noobween skin and as I am already a technical "monster" what should I change into? I would love ideas and obviously I won't choose them all but still. Thanks!
I highly doubt they will be bringing back the vanilla villager trading, due to they don't want the economy wrecked. Due to mob removal is now gone, and players could keep a villager hostage and become rich and rich and that's how sometimes the economy gets wrecked with random prices and that. They may bring them out again,but disable the tradings. Sponges will most likely be able to mop up the water, unsure on that though. You should change your skin so that you have herobrine's eyes. then I won't be the only person with them;)
lol too bad villager trading will be gone. never really got to see its purpose. how can holding a villager hostage be possible? there is like no way for them to be trapped in an easily accessible holding cell near there houses, seeing as fishing rods and leads fail miserably when used on villagers, they both break after a certain distance and villagers dont really move in any set direction. You should change your skin so that you have herobrine's eyes. then I won't be the only person with them;)

the villager trading should be allowed, i imagine everyone would rage if it were to be shut off. its up to the admins what to do about the sponges, its all up to the admins. lol change your skin into something crazy, like a cross between a skeleton and a sheep or somehthing. LOL

We don't mind people making games and doing gambling but we don't advise players to put their full trust in those methods, as they are not ran by the server nor are 100% scam proof.
I understand the problem with trusting someone else, but I planned to keep games based on hidden chances strictly just for fun (possibly with an entry fee) while giving the possibility to pay and win prizes with other games.
A slot machine is based on hidden chances so it can be rigged, but games where winning is determine only by the actions of the player are safe I guess.
Examples:
An automated guessing game where players guess "green" or "red".
They would see the result right away and if they guessed right, they win.
There would be no point in "rigging" the machine since players would see they're being cheated as soon as the they'd see the result.
Same goes for games that requires timing, aim, and any other skill (jumping puzzles, speed contest, reflexes) can be considered safe too, as long as the rules are clear I guess.
Can such games be considered "safe"?

Admins, I know this post is over 2 years old, but I was looking through posts and I thought since V6 is coming out soon, and a lot of people will be creating towns, we should have a town vote in V6 to help the winning town. It would make towns be more competitive, which would make the towns have better structures and give a better experience for the players.
yea but shouldn't we wait for v6 to be a few weeks on first ?
