So a creeper blew me up and i returned to the spot where i died and all i got back was my armor and i had a bag full of things (was building) do we not get our stuff back when we return to our death spot?
and i lost all the tools and diamonds that were in my pack thats really frustrating (just enchanted them too)

This is a survival server. You can die. It's part of the game, when you die you may lose your items?

I have noticed this issue only when you get killed by a creeper. I know many veterans who have performed the /back command but no items are found even though it had been seconds after they were killed.

I know it's Reeeeally frustrating, but isn't it more to the survival aspect and realism? Creeper explodes, Items get destroyed? Creepers should be able to destroy terrain, but most people would vote for it to keep it the way it is.

Just also gonna say, Happend to me aswell if killed by a creeper, You items seem to be lost, but some are still there when you go back to your death spot. Only reason I have never said anything cause ever time it has happend to me i only had a few things on me:P

Creepers explode thus destroying items. It is part of the game.

You should not receive any items back, you need to consider the threat from mobs when you go into unprotected areas.
