how do you sell plots? what's the command for selling plots and the command for when a resident takes a plot and he claims it (may not be well clarified). please use the step 1 step 2 step 3 format.

Justin, look at the freaking town commands in the guide section... It makes life so much easier..! And you dont set a command so they build on their plots.. If you turn perms off so that they cant build in town then the only place they can build is their plots and the wilderness. Perms do not effect plots in any way. If a person owns that plot then only mayor, assistants, and the single resident can build on that section of land.

ok, here's the new plan im thinking of. how do you set perms on specific blocks so only the blocks i set those perms on can be touched by mayors/assistants. the residents can build/destroy/itemuse anywhere else in town except the blocks i set those kind of perms on. i think this is the same question as last time.

You cant do anything with specific blocks so stop asking.. towny works around chunks.. 16x16 spaces of land.... The only way you can do that is with /cprivate and I believe with /cprivate [names] it allows you to add more than one person to use that block.... So let me say it again.. TOWNY WORKS WITH CHUNKS NOT BLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can't do /cprivate on blocks. it only works on things like chests, furnaces, and doors.

Everywhere around the town u couldnt destroy, they set the perm so that residents cant destroy.

Ozz had bought protection for those blocks without using towny, to assure that our residents couldn't steal them.
It just happened to also be in the town is all

One cheap option would be to just buy the perimeter and seal it off, that way your stuff inside stays protected, like your circuits

Justin, please just try to find it out for yourself next time if you don't understand the guides. You don't always have to ask questions. I am not saying to stop asking questions i am just saying to try to find out by trying some commands or try to look at the guide again and then ask a question or two or maybe ask me or ajhl49 ingame. I would ask ajhl49 for anything to do with towny. He is my main assistant for Forthwind because he is great with towny and he knows all the commands.
