So the old shop plugin was great, this one? Not so much. . .

Is the old one ever coming back?

Why won't this one buy many of my items? Like cactus, it says it doesn't want any.

zeel, I will have you know, we used this shop for a long time, and before we had the dynamic economy, everyone thought it was great. (Most people anyways) I do not think the dynamic economy will be coming back any time soon, although you may thought it was better, do you remember how many issues it had. Every day there was an issue, to many for the server to be free from exploiting.

It didn't seem to have any issues in 1.2.3, I thought the issues came from the update. Hasn't it been patched yet?

And why are there so many things this one will not buy? And why are the buy and sell prices so far apart? I liked how dynamic economy made them the same. This one makes you lose a lot of money.

There are less items in the shop to "encourage" player trading, this doesn't appear to be very successful in my eyes. I'd like to hope DynamicEconomy returns, it was a great addition to the server, much better than this shop we're using now.

However nobody wants 1000 cactus, nobody can use 1000 cactus. The other shop would buy items that nobody wants, so that all items have worth.

At the least make items that no one wants sell able, I can see trading enchanted items, but just about everything else is not going to get player traded much.

The DynEc plugin has a LOT of exploits and bugs. Just because you don't see them, doesn't mean they're not there.

Although I would like to see more options for sellings my ****.... I mean, "random items", DynEc is not an option.

The exploitable bugs are something the staff team should be able the handle, it's not that serious when they fix them. A simple solution would to get it up and running WITHOUT bugs. That would be great.

I totally agree with all of you, and I too want the dynamic economy back. Although we could handle the bugs and exploits, it got to the point were the admins and moderators couldn't even get a break, every time we got on there was a new bug reported, this also lead to exploiting, which can be stopped, but it started to happen enough that the momey made off of exploits add up. Furthermore, the admins and INEED tried their best to get the shop to be perfect, but it just didn't work out. We will just have to wait and see, and hopefully it will be back in the future.

Only reason i never liked Dynamic Eco was cause of the easy made money, this was a good part of the towns being to cheap cause people used Dyn Eco to make money very quick.. like with sand 2nbz each come on?! i made like 45k nbz in 1hour from selling sand ..

Therefor i love that Dyn Eco is gone but i miss selling all my "****" like everyone else :/

I JUST said that DynEc has too many bugs to deal with and you just don't see them all either. It's been around for ages and still not all exploits have been found. You really think it's just a quick fix?

As there have been reported exploits when the DynamicEconomy before, the staff team handled them well, if they were too outrageously exploited then the money was taken away from them, end of. Not that hard to understand, adding to what everyone else has said, why not just add everything into the shop (even the useless items), player trading is only useful for things like enchanted items and resources you can only get with creative (such as spawner eggs).

I actually like the way you can sell and buy things in Myrf`s shop now. I like that way (of player controlled shops you can sell stuff to more than this old shopsystem. I also think that it will boost the business for (good) player controlled shops.

I've started my own chest shop in BlackThorn, it practically sells everything (apart from the odd blocks/items). (*totally not an advert*  8|)
