No need to say that about yourself, we were all noobs at one point, but you should have left it in the Ban Appeal section to be considered by a Moderator or Admin.
The only person I know i ''griefed'' (quotation marks because it was my stuff in a_s_y_l_u_m's house that she set up for me because I was living there for a bit whilst i waited to be invited to the town) was her so yeah... Would that still be considered griefing even if its my stuff in her house?
YES, it does still count as grief, it doesn't matter whether or not it is your friend. If you grief, get caught, you will be banned, if it is a temporary ban, just wait it out.
