Hmm, interesting...  Any specific form of submission?  I'm sure you don't want the whole topic filled with pages of stories.  Attachments I guess?

I would prefer people to just submit them below so everyone can read through peoples stories. It's a community competition.

When I first joind NoobsTown, I was attempting to get all the supplys I need, to create a house. While I was getting my supplies, I relised my wood cutting went up by 1.  So I cut more and more and more jungle wood to get my woodcutting level up. I then created my house using the jungle wood I collected. My friend had a little village, in the sky. So I decided to make my house nearby his. After making my house in jungle wood, I then took a good look at my house, then I disliked my house, and decided to break it all down, and use the wood for some supply's instead. I then sold the rest of the wood. Then I decided to get some dirt, using my wooden shovel. I then got lots of dirt, then my level went up due to me breaking lots of dirt. As I got lots of dirt, I decided to make my house out of dirt instead then. I made my house with all dirt, and I took a good look of it, It looked very ugly. Therefore I destroyed my house again. Then I made a pickaxe out of the wood I created.
Then.....

I broke tons of Cobblestone then my mining level went up one. Therefore, I broke cobblestone until my mining level was high. When my Mining level was highish, I decided to make a house using cobblestone. When my house was all made, I didn't really like it. Therefore, I destroyed my house AGAIN. Then I looked on Minecraft wiki on how to make a good house. I then saw how to make stone brick. I then burned my cobblestone into stone. Then I crafted it, to make stone bricks. I then burned lots of my cobblestone to lots of stone, to make lots of stone, to craft into stone bricks. Then I made my house into stone bricks instead. And then....

I liked my house then, with the stone bricks. Therefore, I didn't destroy this one. While making my house, I noticed I needed windows. I then went far out in the mining world to find some sand. Sadly, I didn't find any sand. So I gave up making windows at the time, and decided to buy some instead. I bought 4 stacks of glass for 500 noobs. I didn't have 500 noobs so I couldn't buy them. Then a [TIP] popped up telling me I could get 500 noobs by voting. So I read that tip, and voted for the server.
I then got 500 noobs and was able to buy them windows. I then bought the glass, and crafted them into glass panes, so I would get more glass. I then placed the glass in the gaps in the walls, then my house didn't look such a mess any more.

Now I have a house, I didn't have to worry about getting food, due to my friends little village had a farm, so I wouldn't die of hunger. I then saw someone say '' Come to spawn for a diamond drop party'' I asap done /spawn and got lots of diamonds. I got a total of 20 diamonds. I was very happy, thinking what I could do with them. So I decided to make diamond armor/ Pickaxe/ Sword. When I made them, I decided to go on a mine in the mining world, to find more good stuff there. I was mining down with my friend, my friend told me lots of mining tips (Like don't mine straight down mine 1 block then another on the side so I won't die in lava) I still remember that tip since now, and I still use it so I don't die in lava. When we got down, we straight away saw a diamond, lucky finding it on my first mine on this server. I then got my pickaxe, and mined it. Then my mining went up higher. I was very happy with getting another diamond. While looking for more diamonds, sadly I fell in lava...

I then managed to get out of lava by typing /home very fast, then I died of fire, which made me keep my stuff. I was almost about to get angry, thinking I lost all my good stuff. Then I was very happy that they had Death control. As I have been playing this server for a while, and liked the community, and everything, I knew I found the greatest server, I have ever been on before. So I decided to stay on this server for ever. I was then making profits with my friends farm. And selling
all the food I collected, and kept some to keep me alive. I then became rich from selling food. Then I styled my house a little more to make it feel like home.
While making my home, I fell out of my house and died of falling ( As my house is in the sky) so I had to find how to make a floor lower in the sky. So I looked on
Minecraft wiki again...

I then found how to make a extra floor, by placing water and staying up by water, to make the other floor. I decided while making the extra floor, That this floor will be
the chest floor, where I kept all my chests. Then I started to get my money very high, and become very happy playing on Noobstown.

Here are some pictures:

Me breaking the jungle wood. -

 Me breaking some dirt-

This is why I couldn't get no sand xD -

And my house now :

PS: You can see my house by doing /t spawn Skyland in-game and going straight until you see my house (:

My plans in Version 6 are to get very very rich (Richer than Duelcon :P) and have a very massive mansion in the sky, and wasting my money in the casino, and hopefully
winning in the casino, and be even more richer. And to be in mctop in hopefully every level they are. and making more friends in Noobstown.

Thank You for reading my story of V5. I hope you enjoyed reading it, and I do hope I win.

Thanks
 -Jack

Noobstown v5 Memories

So here goes my story of v5 noobstown!

Joining the server on the 7th of march 2012 was like waking up to a whole new family! The welcomes that I received were warming, friendly and each different in their own ways.
I started off being a not at all a Noob! That status had to be earned. I lived with my a very good friend and member of family, Jayjay36. He helped me out with so much when I first joined the server; Gave me a roof over my head, food on my crafting table and tools for to venture out on my own. Being what family are, we fought a little and I ended up moving out and into the town of Flintwood…
My story continued into Flintwood as I learned about Towns and Nations. Miner_Man123456, the Mayor of Flintwood, took me under his wing and added me as a member of his town. I helped out around the town and soon enough was part of the staff team! I was an Town Assistant!! I felt power running through my very pixelated veins and so I got on with my duties! Again, as time passed by, about 5 months or so, my relationship with Miner seemed to deteriorate and then came the arguments which lead to my departure of my home town, Flintwood. To this day, even being a mayor myself, I still count Flintwood as my home and Miner and the TA’s of that time, my family. (:
I decided to be a bit of a wildy for a while, which I did not like at all! Griefing was a problem and the constant amount of mobs at your door was just crazy! The lack of civilization made your mind all depressed so I packed up and moved into Mapleforge. A town owned by my younger cousin, Jayjay36. Mapleforge was a small thing of pure beauty. Not too crowded, but nor was it dead either. I stayed for a while then Jayjay had problems or something so left the server for a while, he left Mapleforge in the hands of me! I had a town, of which I could call my own. Lord DjDazzy2011 of Mapleforge, had a ring to it ;)
FireIce808… what a player! She was amazing!! Helped out around the town with so much and never complained about anything. Fire along with Jaakmonkey made the town what it is and it would not be the same without them. I am actually so close with Jaakmoney now that we have plans for me to go to England and visit him. This is what Noobstown is about, family, friends and bringing people together for a laugh and some fun. I think through the rough stage that I went through in my life after my Mother and Grandmother passed away, Noobstown was a thing that picked me up. The players! So many of them that I can’t name all, but I am sure that they all know who they are. The ones that made me smile. The ones that made me laugh and even the ones that annoyed me, still had that place in my heart as it wouldn’t have been the same without them…
So that’s my story of Noobstown. It is only my story, and not my memories. I thought I would tell it first before I thought back to the amazing times I had! So here goes with just a couple memories as there are just too many for me to type.

-   Noobstown Ice Hockey Team    -
This was quite early in my Noob life. Leo9101 (So sorry if I got your name wrong!) has or had an Island out somewhere in an iced over ocean and we were all visiting and trolling him. I had a random Diamond Block in my inv so started chucking it around on the ice. This soon turned into a game of who can keep the block. We had, I think, up to about 10 players all running after each other throwing about a Diamond Block which was a laugh in its self! But then the Admins started building a very ***r looking arena on the ice with wool and other blocks. It was an arena, an Ice Arena which we used to play the game on. Teams split up in two, red team and blue team. We must have spent an hour to two hours just throwing about a Diamond Block. This was my first great memory of Noobstown v5.

-   Flintwood Builds    -
Back to the times of Flintwood when I was TA there, I had built up a great friendship with one of the town members, mgu3000. We decided to build a giant spider like thing! This thing had four HUGE, long and thick, log legs and a giant centre which we lived in! I really wish I had an image to show, but I don’t. ):

Before making the Spider Building I made, over the two plots that I had, an Inn for the town! This was one of my noob builds! Before I actually gained any skill in design :P I worked hard on this and it payed off as it got me TA status in the town. (:

-   Adventure with Zeph, Miner and Mustang   -
Ah, so my last memory seen as this thing is getting near 1000 words long and I am sure you are bored of this by now, would have to be the trek Zephar, miner_man123456 and EliteMustang and myself went on in order to find me a place to build my home! This must have lasted over an hour and a half. Reasons it took so long? Well, as you all know, the world is cluttered with old builds and random shacks from player. We kept losing each other and also finding cool builds we had never seen before! We also picked up a random player on the way, who’s name fades from my mind so I can’t speak of him /: But yeah, going from biome to biome, heading in a direction and staying on course we found a decent sized area that was actually untouched! So I set up camp, built my home and there it is to this day!

My plans for v6? Continue as I am and just build my friendlist! Hopefully get a town, help out others and just plainly have fun!

Thank you very much for ready my story and memories!
Even if I don’t “win” it has been nice to really have a good think about the memories I have had, even though I didn’t put all million of them!
Noobstown, I LOVE YOU XD!

My Noobstown Memories.

This is my favorite Noobstown memories that involve alot of awesome people along the way.

So i joined the server on the 8th of may 2012 and was greeted by many friendly people, but the one that stood out most was Krazzylegs as he gave me the opportunity to learn about the server and also took me mining and gave me a few jobs.
shortly after i had got some stuff together i decided to build my first house out on a frozen ocean as i thought it would make a nice change from the usual sky houses i make on single player, but soon realized that an ice floor isn't the best idea.
Then i met UnlikelyPirate and Iboabdalla who took me into their town Heavenlydawn (now known as Tortuga) which after a few weeks a became a TA, At the time of me joining the town it was small and just started so me Unlikely and Iboabdalla had made it into the great town it has become today.

I also have many other great memories such as making a town with AQW_assassian01, Meeting Mrfloris and having out teamspeak adventures, Meeting Tomb, Fireice, DjDazzy, Duel and many others.
But this is by far my favorite memory as it allowed me to get a feel for Noobscraft and made me stay with all of these wonderful memories.
Oh and there's also the adventures with Long_cat which would have to be a whole different story so for now i shall leave you with a few pics. :)
But i have loved every moment of m noobscraft experience and hope that everyone else has a great ride just like me!

Before you start to read this, I will warn you, it is particularly long for a "short" story. Please don't DQ me, I had a lot to say and wasn't sure if there was a requirement to the length. They say a picture is worth a thousand words; well, if this were pictures, I'd say there'd be at least 10 pictures :P.

Chapter 1: The Early Days
I joined Noobscraft in V5 on April 13th, 2013. I played with my friends from school, joeyishar, JacksonMCRand, flyinghotdog1, and somejob. The first day, I met a moderator needing help on a project. His name was EmporerMyrf. Most of you probably know him, as he still is a moderator. He has been a moderator for the longest out of the current staff team. He and I became good friends, for I was new and in need of a job and some money, and he gave me a chance for a job. He said that people who were helping him needed a diamond pickaxe, and I was very discouraged, as I had no diamonds or even wood tools! I told him I didn't have any of that stuff as I had just started, and he said, "That's OK. I have a rental Diamond Pickaxe for you to use." So I helped him make a huge room underground to build some houses and other things, and after I went to go give him the diamond pickaxe and he said, "No. Keep it so you can make some money and buy a house." He also gave me 10 diamonds. Very soon after this (no more than 30 minutes), I joined Winterhold just before it was at its prime and at its largest. I soon built a house. There was no roof (as you can see below) and it rained all the time, so my house was mostly underground. I usually stayed underground crafting and expanding my basement instead of making my roof like I should, and was out of town usually, fishing and mining for clay in the frozen lake next to my roofless house at the edge of the city. I was poor, with only 10k at a time most days, but on a good day I might have 15 or 20k.

Chapter 2: My Bans in the Early Days
I soon became a TA of Winterhold after trying once or twice to apply, and I was very happy. I played a lot during the summer of 2012 and was a good help around town for the most part, taking down people's houses who weren't active, making the storage room a lot more organized as well as expanding it, and trying to continue to build my house (never got finished by the way). Sometimes, I will say, I was a pain in the neck to ZeeTheLegend, the mayor of Winterhold. By this time, I had met someone named FinalZMan and she (yes it was a she) had teleported me to a desert biome, where there were some abandoned settlements and a Desert Temple she had made by herself. It was located by a castle, which was grief-ridden and uninhabited. It was called, as I soon found out, KochiraKoso. I had been in the long lost ruins of a once great city, and after FinalZMan mysteriously disappeared (maybe she got banned or left the server I don't know which), I inhabited the castle. I explored and soon found an uninhabited mushroom biome, where I currently reside along with my 4 friends, SmithB0118 (my original business partner and best friend) deebles17, Olah0001, and zebra903. This is somewhat out of context with the rest of my story, as the multiple houses were not finished until very recently (only last week in fact). Because of this, I was soon out of Winterhold more than I was in, and Zee didn't appreciate my neglecting my duties as a TA. Soon after this (and one of the reasons why this happened), Zee and I sometimes got into disagreements about things in town, and once, he destroyed my TA office (these offices were for hiring new staff), which made me quite angry. As Smith and I expanded (we were the only ones out of my 4 current real-life friends on the server), we realized we needed a silktouch shovel to mine out the somewhat uncommon Mycelium. I bought a silktouch shovel for 20k (WAY overpriced) and we were soon growing mushrooms and mining Mycelium to build farms for mushrooms as well as doing other things with it. One day while we were mining Smith said to me (this was about the time deebles registered) "Hey, I was mining and saw an abandoned underground fortress. We should look around and maybe take some redstone lamps from the place while we're at it so we can get some better lighting in our house. So we griefed the house (I was unaware that griefing was against the rules on the server as I was still a noob). The next day, angel9703 (the owner of the fortress and now one of my friends on the server) came on, told the moderators about the grief, and I was banned for 2 days. Smith was not banned (luckily). While this was going on, Zee and I continued to get into disagreements, which escalated, and eventually resulted in my getting banned for 2 months. He sold my house on the market and had the moderators remove my chests after one of the particularly nasty disagreements, and I responded by emptying every last item in the storage room. It was probably one of the biggest heists in the history of the server ( >:() and I regret doing what I did. I was banned for almost two months. It was originally a perma-ban, but after a week of begging Waterworth and annoying the Nether out of him, it was only a month and a half of ban time. He unbanned me the night of the Christmas Drop Party, and after these incidents I promised myself to never break the rules again. Those ban days were the worst of my Minecraft career.

Chapter 3: My New Days
I realized I was better than to break the rules, so I started anew (keeping my house and still living in Kochira's ruins though) and began to try and reforge my destroyed reputation. During my ban time, I had met a friend on the site named Minecraftguy5703. He helped me get unbanned. I started to rapidly need more storage with the arrival of deebles and a stranger named joet3, who had robbed us because he was unaware of it being a bannable offense. joet was perma-banned the day after we let him into our house so we had his stuff removed. deebles, Smith, and I were collecting so much stuff by ourselves though. We found many unlocked chests underground in Kochira, which we had a moderator check and tell us it was OK to take the things inside, as all of the players had been permanently banned or had left the server. Smith and I joined an organization called the Knights of Dagmar, which was owned by a player named Mar****. We continued to expand, and we worked for the knights for food and some money. It wasn't easy, but it was fun. We played a lot when we could, but most of the time we couldn't play on Minecraft. This brings us into the current days with the announcement of V6 and the other two players in my group, Olah and zebra, joining the server.

Chapter 4: The Current Days
With the announcement of V6 and the Top 100 Activity Competition for V6, as well as the arrival of Olah and zebra, we needed more houses, longer playing time, and most of all, SO MUCH MORE STORAGE. It took forever, and we have been battling our way to get on to the Top 100 activity list and stay there. Finally, we have completed what we will need for storage until V6. We have gotten rich, and just a few days ago, I bought a town off of lukestar04 for 107.5K. I cannot wait for V6, and I know my friends can't wait either.

My favorite memories of V5 were... I can't decide! I loved all of V5 and enjoyed the experiences I had on Noobscraft as well as learning so many new things from the great players on this server.

In V6, I hope to create a town, make lots of money, start a large business/company, and become a well-known Veteran on the server. I'll probably be spending a lot of time with Jack in the Casinos too! :) I <3 you Noobscraft!

PS: I need to make another post for my pictures.

My Noobstown Story
By edixsabourin

On a very hot day in the month of July, I decided to type in random IPs I generate in my head and would see if they would work, Not many of them worked, but then I typed in noobstown.com and it actually worked, I decided to take a look around and read every sign thinking "Wow this server is really organized." Being someone to respect organized servers I signed up and started my adventure. I hadn't talked much, but spent a lot of time walking, I died 3-4 times and never found where I died, but I pressed on to find the perfect spot to build my town. After about an hour of trying I finally made it, a snowy landscape near the town of Nether Frost, I started to build my house, having to plant trees as none where near the area I lived, So I started to build my house when it came upon me, I needed money.

It was about my second day when I decided I needed some money, so I started mining cobble, I didn't realized voting till about a week in, so I sold my cobble to twisted's shop and off I went, building my town. I built many amazing things, a bridge, a huge tower, and my house was pretty fancy. I also opened a lottery that lasted a go around. Soon I was getting TAs and residents even though it was just a wilderness town, but not before I got started on the website.

So I was sitting at work and I had just finished a huge order and had some time to myself, so I decided to post something on the website, soon enough I would be an active member of the forums checking every day for something exciting, and making some topics of my own, It was about the end of summer when I did this, as I had spent the whole summer on the server, I still remember that summer spawn, and my town that never was, Nexan.

At about November I decided to name my town Nexan, but at about December 4th I decided the town was not to be and moved into New Caprica, here are some screenshots of "The Ruins of Nexan"

My Wonderful House

The Tower

The Bridge

You can see more of the town at X:679 Z: -2248

After that, I decided "I needed a break from Noobstown for a bit." So I went on a twisted path of other servers, some scary stuff, until finally coming back to noobstown to find out it was time to party! As well as V6 was coming, so I joined mrfloris' town X and build a tower out of diamond and gold, as well as a nice bridge. Finally it was time to really get those skills grinding, and at the speed of a bullet of was getting my skills up.

After all of this, i've realized it isn't about the diamonds, or the money, or even the builds, it's about the memories we share with our wonderful community. Even if you have a few friends, or a lot, there will always be somewhere for you. So I will finish this off with some of the stories I have of my experience at Noobstown.

The Floris Ore

I was just crafting some stuff when Floris decided to give me an emerald ore, I was so happy as I had never been given anything so valuable and as soon as anvils came out I named it "The Floris Ore". I find this a very special memory as it shows how friendly some people can be.

The Western Ranger

Someone had given me the task of building a house in the wild, so I needed the perfect spot. I put on some western music and off I was. I got quite a few people to come with me and even found some signs I got the moderators to remove because of fowl language. In the end I found the spot and was paid A nice 25k for the mansion.

The Christmas Party

We all know about the famous Noobstown parties, but I think the Christmas one was the best. My friend had come on I hadn't seen in a long time and we had lots of fun, we got to see Noobsmas and had a lot of fun.

The Skill Grind

If you keep up with news you should know that V6 is coming and your skill levels will turn into tokens, so a lot of my friends have been grinding skills, and I have been too. Lots of memories are created through this simple task, from just a mining trip, or a round of Mob Arena. Here are some funny pictures of are skill grind in Mob Arena.

Forever Alone

I've been alone many times, here are the times I got screenshots.

:'(  Without Bernard :'(

:D With Bernard :D

What I Have In Mind For V6

In V6, I want to create more memories, I will also be making money and building builds, but they most important thing will be those memories. So I say "good luck" to you all in making new memories in V6, And I leave you with this small video.

The day started like any other.  My wife and I awoke to a breakfast of coffee and toast with no idea what would await us later that day.  We were building a few things on our LAN server together when I suggested we could play online with other people.  After playing many other online games together, we were both quite skeptical about joining others on a game where your constructions could be destroyed.  I had noticed the day before that PMC offered server lists with descriptions about each one.  Thinking that with a name like noobstown it would be perfect for us who were new to Minecraft, I talked her into joining with me.

Green.  All I could see was green text flying so fast across my screen that I couldn't keep up with it all.  We gingerly made our way through the tutorial, followed the steps and then, YOU HAVE BEEN KICKED! WELCOME TO NOOBSTOWN!.  After using /spawn, we were dazzled and greeted with a message board, a giant fountain of water and emerald, and a large city that we promptly got ourselves lost in.  I'm ashamed to say, but we spent about 30 mins trying to find our way out! It was quite daunting at first, but we pressed on and finally made our way out into the wilderness.

The chaos and ruins we saw didn't help to comfort us when thinking back on how our buildings could be destroyed.  A tip appeared on the screen mentioning that if you had been griefed, you could do /grief.  At the time, neither of us knew what the term meant.  Minecraft online was entirely new to us so I decided to pay a visit to the forums and try and find out what direction we should take in this large, new server.  The rules were posted and clear on what we were not supposed to do, and thanks to the guides that many took the time to write out, we quickly learned there was a server shop to earn money, and that we could harvest anything we needed from the mining world.  A mining 'world'? we thought.  There was a whole other area that was classified as a world!  How large could this server be?

The mining world was devoid of life.  No creature, and all of the trees had been harvested nearby.  We were at a loss at how to continue.  After asking a few times in chat, we were advised to try and build a 'farm' and that it would help us get started.  Many players suggested this or that, and most all were very friendly and inviting.  after a few days of gathering things in the mining world, we found a town that looked nice and clean.  A plot, a tree, and a few cobblestone later, we had a starting home to store our things.  We were off to a good beginning and thuroughly enjoying ourselves!

Time passed, we built a home and even took it upon ourselves to make a public tree farm for everyone to use in the mining world!  Our fellow players were thrilled and most respected the farm.  It was put to good use, and we even made some friends that started assisting us in building bigger and better things for everyone to enjoy.  We mined, and learned more about the skills and different features the server had to offer.  We watched the staff handle situations and players with patience and kindness.   I grew to respect them all.  it wasn't often that I had met other gamers online that were as nice as these people were.  Firm, and kind, but often times busy and swamped with questions and pleas for help.  I took it upon myself to try and offer assistance.  I felt sorry that there was so many lines of text being thrown at them each day.  And then, the event that made me decide to become a moderator happened.

An argument arose in chat.  A player had been scammed and did not receive an item that they paid for.  I calmly asked what the issue was, and offered my own items in exchange for a bit of forgiveness and patience in the matter.  I explained that pixels on a game weren't worth getting that upset over, and that if it would make things right, they could have mine.  I began to pick up stray questions here and there, offer my home as a farm to those who needed it, and offered my services in helping solve minor disputes when they arose and no staff member was online.  Respect was always given, but not always taken, and I just had to leave it be, but it didn't deter me.  TwistedLover and I spoke on occassion about how certain rules were enforced, and what I should do in a situation involving respect.  I told her that I wanted to help make the server better, that I enjoyed it so much and everyone was so nice to me, I just wanted to return the favor.  She suggested I fill out a staff application on the forums.  I was skeptical as I had only been on the server for a short while, but I said I would give it some thought.

I spent the next week observing the server's members and staff closely and didn't really speak out much unless someone needed help or had a question.  There was some rennovations going on in our current town and by chance, my home needed to be removed and tore down, along with the public tree farm I had made with shop chests for everyone to use.  Saddened, I began the deconstruction of my home to make way for the new road, but this event brought about a surprising offer.  Dragonfire offered to give anadence and I 8 plots together to build on.  I was stunned.  I never thought we'd have such a large, protected area to build on.  With a sad fairwell and about 40 chests later, we left our first town and moved in to Dragonfire.  Construction on the house began immediately and before long, we had a massive Log Cabin style home with two floors and a storage basement.

The rebuilding of my home gave me the final nudge, along with some friends poking me, to place my staff application online for Waterworth to view.  I spent the better part of the day writing and revising what I wanted to say, but eventually I got it typed out and submitted for everyone to view.  My chances of becomming a staff member after only being on the server for a month were slim, but I felt that even if my application was denied, maybe my words could inspire others to understand that being a staff member was more about being a servant, than receiving an award or prestige.  A strong desire to help and an iron wall of patience thanks to my children served me well it would seem because before long, I was contacted and interviewed for the position.  I continued helping those as I did before, trying to do what I could to make the server a more enjoyable place, not only for myself, but for everyone.  Out of the blue, and I dare say a bit of smoke and an explosion of light, teh supah admeen appeared before me!  Ok, it wasn't quite that grand, but Waterworth chose me to become the next member of the mod team!  Overjoyed and truly surprised, I graciously accepted and started on my path to better the server and her community to the best of my capability.

It wasn't long after I was made a staff member that Anadence and I got to experience our first server holiday event.  Noobween.  100% complete awesomeness.  Spawn was transformed into a halloween styled display of webs and fall colors.  Herobrine was making guest star appearances around noobstown causing players to become quite intoxicated and the entire community was in high spirits for the festivities.  We had a huge drop party and a massive pvp arena event for everyone to enjoy.

Noobsmas came quickly after.  An advent calendar and many presents and christmas trees sprang up all over noobstown.  The spirit of giving was with everyone as drop parties were being held all month, and Father noobsmas flew around the towns tossing out presents for everyone to chase after.  The most amusing part was the screenshots we took.  ***r Noobsmas looked like he was running for his life with a mob of players chasing after him.

Members joined, and good friends left or moved on to other things.  Laughter, joy, and sadness and tears.  We experienced them all as the server reached it's 2nd anniversary and we discovered that in the summer months to come, a new version was to be released.  Mixed emotions flooded the community as everyone tried to understand and cope with the changes that were to be made to everything we had grown accustom to here in v5.  Many were unable to bear the thought of parting with their builds, towns, and wealth they had accumulated over the course of the year, but we pressed on and have recently enjoyed events and a sort of bonding with those who have chose to stay.  We look up with our eyes wide, eager for what is to come.  We greet it now with wonder and anticipation and hopes to build greater memories, and an even greater community.

In v6, I have played around with the idea of creating a town simular to what Dragonfire is today in v5.  A free and open community for those who wish to be social and aide one another in making the community a better place.  Should I decide against that, I'll likely join with DadJaeger or Debo in their town recreations and build a large villa out in the wilderness.  My ultimate goal is to create a puzzle dungeon for players to crawl through and find hidden treasures.  And let's not forget the fishing competitions!  I hope to continue to serve the community as a staff member to make everyone's online minecraft experience better than mine first was.

I will leave you with some photos of my time spent on Noobstown.

My first experiment and build with Quartz.  May Foobimus Prime be with you.  http://puu.sh/2m3LQ

Happy 2nd Birthday Noobstown!  http://puu.sh/2jpsj

Villagers are introduced to noobstown!  But wait...wha?   http://puu.sh/3cuNP.jpg

To infinity, and beyond.  We look to the stars to guide us home to v6  http://puu.sh/2XG9U

Where do I begin with this server? How can I adequately explain what this server has given me? This was the first multiplayer server I had ever played on (besides my own in which I played with a few friends.) When I started playing on this server I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going to go or how long I would play on this server, but I gave it a go. 7 months later I'm still here and quite proud to be apart of a community that has grown so dear to my heart. Yeah, hallmark moment, what of it? Once I joined, I quickly became a member of DiamondCreek and before I knew it I was a TA. I remember I had a hard time remembering all the commands, and still to this day I have problems sometimes. Once I became a TA..I found my role in the town change to where I was doing more than I should and while at times I got frustrated, I still enjoyed doing it and it gave me joy to help others and help the town in the best way I could. Eventually...I left and joined a second town, a town that immediately welcomed me with open arms....Bushido (now that is Shinto and has had a million names in the book). I was automatically dubbed a TA, I built a big house between 2 mods (my luck eh?). ;) In the mean time I've made some great friends and I've felt, after so long of not feeling it, I had finally found like I was part of a community and I've made some great friends along the way. The screenshots below can only give you a glimpse into the memories I've had. As far as v6, I plan on continuing to make friends and make great builds and help the other town officials of Bushido (or shinto, or Bushido v2, or whatever it may be) build a bigger and better town (which might be impossible because Bushido currently is pretty much dabomb.com). I plan on taking this fresh start as a good thing and a good way to start over with skills, money, builds and anything else I may be forgetting. Here's to new memories!

-Memories-
I have so many good memories of Version 5. I am just going to choose a couple. Sorry for so many pictures. I have had a lot of memories in just V5. <3

February 13,2012. INEEDANAME1564 made a college/university and I was looking around on the second floor and saw this little incident. (If you don't see it, The left side sign says "fire Exit <---" The right side sign says, "Emergency exit")

June 21,2012 Some spam bots tried to spam with flooding chat with joining and leaving. Fatnoob was online and noticed this, ItsLawrence's spam filter plugin banned them and this is Fatnoob's comment. LOL

While I was mining in the Mining world June 28,2012 ItsLawrence was banned.. RIP

This was the beginning of DeepHaven. My Favored town. DeepHaven was an underground town that was close to 1.5 million blocks cubed of space total. It was crazy. We spent months mining it out.

I would show a pic of DeepHaven now, but as I can't get there, I can't show you. Just imagine that beautiful picture except several times larger and griefed houses. :C

Halloween 2012. Me and Emmabear spawned Herobrine! He came to us and almost killed me.

January 2013. I was gifted 2 months VIP from JayJay36. I was very grateful for this. I liked to sit in Guest spawn and welcome new players to the server.

March 2013. I showed TidalMewMew my biplane.

This is where stuff starts to get to the fresher and better memories.
Fatnoob came online so I showed him my brand new "The Almighty Steve Head"

I gave him a little tour of my house and he noticed my biplane..

This was after we jumped off the plane he copied into the sky using WorldEdit. :3

This one I forgot to take while we were messing around on the plane but I took them later after Fatnoob logged off. Basicly Foob didn't know how to place the lever to have an escape hatch.

This one is from yesterday xD It was funny because Zeph got 30 sec ban for spamming or somethin. mrfloris made a funny little excuse for it. :P

And that is concludes my memories for v5.

-Plans For Version 6-

I mainly plan to build awesome builds, a bit of redstone contraptions, and stay an active member of the community. I don't want to lose Noobscraft in my life as it has gave me something to do for the past 2 years. I always have to try to win in these competitions because I try to show others that I have been here longer than them, and that I love the community. Other plans also include getting a one-on-one tour of the spawn. (*cough cough*)

I got the worst Memory in the world, so writing down memories from 30th December 2011 too now, which is about 1 and a half year later, is almost impossible for me, but I will find some old pictures, and make my little memory post that way :D I hopefully got some c:

Picture 1
From one of the Member Milestone party's if I remember correctly, not hundred percent sure, but we were ON A BOAT! :D

Picture 2
From Noobween 2012! =)

Picture 3
Baby Benard

Picture 4
Detailed Ghast from the Flintwood nether outpost, which is long gone :(

Picture 5
Panorama picture from one of the old town halls in Flintwood

Picture 6
Fatnoob destroying a block, not sure why I got this picture, but cause I do I will post it! =D

Picture 7
Story of this picture is that we had earlier blocked Waterworth in a solid dirt cage, then I took a screenshot of him just standing there AFK before we did it c:

Picture 8
From the Noobstown 10,000 Registered Members party! ^_^

Picture 9
Myself and XxibennixX in the floor, cause of a funny little glitch with /thru and half slabs! ;p

Picture 10
AFK Fatnoob party, woop woop! \o/

That is all the pictures I could find out of several Minecraft jar's, I had a lot more memories on this server, but many of does memory pictures were lost when I had to re install my MultiMC, so I lost about 200 screenshots from different events from September 2012 to December 2013, but oh well, I at least had something I could share as a memory :)

My plans for V6 is to be a farmer, I am gone make a giant farms, and live of selling crops, going from being a Miner, to a Fisher and now I am gone be a Farmer! :D

~Noobscraft Memories~

After begging my dad to buy me Minecraft for countless days, I had finally achieved what I have been trying to. He bought me Minecraft, thinking that I would only use it for a few days, then forgetting about it and moving onto something else. Well, he thought wrong.

As I searched for servers on Planet Minecraft, I came across an interesting server by the name of Noobscraft. I loved the creative name and it seemed to be a well organized server so I added the very first server to my servers list and joined the server on July 2nd, 2012. I was approached with many players who were kind and very helpful, whom I can't remember the names of since I was a newbie to the server. I quickly became a member as I was excited to start my second life.

As I started my Noobscraft life, I began searching the wilderness. I made my own unofficial town, which I figured out in later game that it wasn't a very good idea. Then I moved to the wonderful town of Glasgow, originally owned by BuckieUK09. Later on, I became a TA, which I felt incredibly honored to be. Then comes some of my memories. As I was a TA, I helped assist BuckieUK09 along with other TA's build the Nations Building, church, and I personally built the McDonalds two times (all located in Glasgow).

Then, my friend AchmedTheCreeper and I got the idea of making our own town. We bought Deephaven, but then came a money problem and we had to lose the town.

I then was searching for a town once more, then I decided to buy the former Baronscourt from TerrenceTheThird. I renamed the town Moonglade (I got the idea from World of Warcraft, as I am a big fan). I ran the town for a few months, then someone bought the town off of me.

Between this time I remember one day someone was upset about signing up on the server. I told them that if they had a problem about it that they could go eat a pickle (Just to say something random and for giggles). One of the moderators ( I believe it was TidalMewMew) thought it was hilarious and awarded me with a diamond. :D

Ohh and the conversations on teamspeak mainly with FireIce808, Mrfloris, and AQW_Assassin01 are surely some conversations that i will never forget. :P

I had three close friends at the time by the name of ShadowKnite777, Talented_1, and Spacemanspiff4. They all lived in Pandora, which had just changed ownership to Talented_1. I became a TA once again and helped with several things in the town. About half a year later, Talented_1 approached me and asked if I would like to be mayor of Pandora. I was suprised about the offer, and I ever so kindly accepted.

I am still mayor of Pandora, but I feel that I have abused the town and the towns citizens because I haven't been on as much. I apologize for that.

Then came the heartbreaking day that they announced V6. I had mixed emotions. Happiness, sadness, frustration, and the feeling of time being lost. I thought about leaving the server, but then I remembered all the memories and the great people on this server. I decided that this server is definitely worth staying in. I am excited for V6, but nothing can replace the past memories on Noobscraft.

I want to thank the following people for making these memories with me.

BuckieUK09, Miner_man123456, DadJaeger, Shadowknite777, AchmedTheCreeper, FireIce808, Mrfloris, jaakmonkey, stinkybrian1002, AQW_Assassin01, DarKrow_, DjDazzy2011, San57x100, Aus2012, LouisT_T, Nuglet_2, Whuck71, xXAnimeOXx, Talented_1,Nebih, Duelcon, TwistedLover, mysterymilk, TerrenceTheThird, TidalMewMew, Spacemanspiff4, doc_engie, and last but not least Fatnoob, Waterworth, and ItsLawrence.

(Sorry if I forgot to name you as I have a hard time remembering people.)

~What My Plans Are For V6~

I've been planning my new home that I will build on the server as soon as I possibly can. I am excited to have a fresh start like everyone else is, and not feel held back. I plan to give back to the server in as many possible ways as I can because this is the only server that I have kept on my servers list ever since I got Minecraft.

I would like to be someone that people go to for help, as I love helping people and I felt lost when I was a newbie but felt appreciated when people were available to help me.

I wish I had pictures to share with you all, but I lost them all when my laptop crashed and I was forced to delete everything off of it. But I hope my words explained enough for you to imagine these memories in your head. This server is like no other, each and every one of the memories made on this server should be shared so I encourage everyone who is reading this to share their own memories.

See you all in V6. :)

Memories

When "I joined Noobstown after trying countless other servers, I knew I was there to stay. One of the main reasons was because right when I joined several members made me feel like I had known them since the server had started. I then went to the wilderness and started punching trees. After killing several trees it said that my woodcutting power level had gone up. I didn't think much of it at the time because I had what I needed.  Later I was digging dirt and it said your excavation level has gone up. From then on I started working an all my power levels and am now at 1649 total.
One of my fondest memories of v5 w as when I realized I actually knew how noobstown worked.  Other memories are things like , getting my first plot in Townsville getting my power level above 100, and finally being able to tell guests how to join Noobstown, then seeing them join.  When I hit 25,000 noobs I had a big cake party and invited me myself and I.  I still have a roomful of cake!

Plans
When v6 comes I plan to establish a town and get my power level up to at least 10,000, have 500,00 tokens, an lots of cake!

I watched people play minecraft for years until July of 2012 when my dad finally let me buy an account. Noobstown was the first server i played because it seemed like a beginner server (yanno, because its called noobs-town so i figured it was for noobs, and i’m all like: “I’m a noob i’ll fit right in!”) So then i got on, made an account, yada yada yada... then i was officially a member!

At first it took me awhile to get to know people, i didn’t know how to fight mobs or craft hardly anything at all! I probably annoyed a bunch of people with my constant questions on “How to make a fence” which was probably the most difficult task for me to this day. Eventually i got the hang of it and ended up meeting some awesome people. So i met this guy (i think his name was like hayden or something) and he asked me to be his roommate so i took it as an opportunity to stop hiding in my house and interact with the other residents. We moved in together and learned more about each other. It was awesome for about three days, but then i started coming across some nice looking wool and wanted decorate my side of the room and....let’s just say it didn’t end well and i ended up homeless....yeah. I kinda took a break from the server after that because i was tired of being a wanderer with no one to really talk to.

So fast forward 7 months later and i decide to get back on because my cousin bestjoker9 (I’m sure you have heard of him with all his shenanigans) wanted to try it out so i thought i’d show him the ropes. He actually was alot better at it then when i first started out. We taught each other alot like at first i was superior and he was a rookie but we both helped each other grow. He taught me things like archery, and mining techniques. I taught him how to bargain, make potions, and use an enchantment table. My greatest achievement in minecraft was finding diamonds. Usually i would buy diamonds with my own money so being able to actually get it on my own was a really big thing for me. I’d say another big achievement for me would be being an assistant of Townsville. Because the mayor had his own life to tend to, i felt like it was my duty to take charge and make sure everyone is okay and help out with whatever i can because if it was my town i would want someone to do that for me.

I was saving up for a while to make a town of my own, but when i heard that v6 was coming out i was all like “Nooooo! Everything i worked hard for will be gone someone slap me and tell me it’s all just a dream!!” But eventually i got over it and tried to think of all the positive that will come from it. I guess it is time for a change, huh!

Oh man, the worst memory of v5...was when i got my shop taken away with everything in it. Me and bestjoker9 made a shop together in the market district (it was two plots put into one shop) and we agreed that we would both make sure that we had enough to pay our 200 a day fee. But my shop partner decided to go on a shopping spree and ended up broke so half of our shop was inaccessible. I threw a fit a told him to get it back so he sold all of the useless things he bought and ended up having to pay the 10,000 again. So i was away for a few days studying for exams and what not, but when i get back, lo and behold half of the shop is inaccessible....AGAIN! So he got to experience another one of my tantrums and promised to get it back. I took a 15-20 minute Tumblr break and when i got back to the shop half of it was COMPLETELY GONE. I mean it was nothing, a completely wiped plot i’m all like whaaaaaat??!?

He said he decided to get rid of it and i was so mad because all of my precious diamonds, emeralds, potions, etc was in that half of the shop. I asked did he at least save my stuff and i was like “of course” so then i’m feeling kinda better and i ask him to hand it over and he gave me sand and some sugar. I was upset for days. I wanted nothing to do with him anymore. I kicked him out of my house and made him take his stuff with him (He was living in my house because i don’t know). It took awhile but i got over it. It seems pretty silly when i look back at how angry i was.

And here we are to the present! Nowadays i’m just laying back collecting tokens and getting ready for the grand opening of v6. Wow i am really excited i try to participate in all the token events (Though i have yet to win one). I love all the awesome people i have met here and i hope we can continue this family-vibe we got going on up in here :D. What are my plans for v6 you ask? I wanna try to stop being a hermit and actually participate in what everyone else is doing for once. It gets kinda boring being by yourself yanno. But other then that i really wanna get rich and make a town this time. And the awesome thing about it is that we’re all starting at the same time so maybe if i stick around this time, i’ll have a chance to be at the top of the food chain >:D. (I made a low quality amaetur video for you guys because i needed to practice my editing skills anyway :) enjoy.)

My noobscraft story.
Onne summer day, in july of 2012, I logged on to pmc looking for servers, and I found a server called noobscraft.com. It looked cool so I logged on, and i didnt want to register because I'm lazy LOL

So I registered and was in the mining world mining for every day for about a month.

After that, I realized that the server was "survival" so I joined Nova. And had my first town. After livvin in Nova for quite a while, me and lostexe decided a town would be fun. Unfortunately he no longer plays on NC, so there I was, all alone and sad, with a town, and no clue how to run it. So one day, me and Alex_hupsch became friends, and it turns out we made a really good team, he helped the town greatly. Then me and Alex met GG(gamergirlxo) and she was also a great help to the town, unfortunately Alex quit for personal reasons, and me and GG had to sell the town. So then we moved to Bushido and then I became a millionaire and started another town, which was the stupid thing ever. I then sold it to lukestar04 . And now I'm living happily in bushido once again.

And thats my noobscraft story (:

Host (H): Hey! Welcome to Noobscraft! I'm your host Host, and you've just tuned in to Noobstown Memories! Tonight we have with us a Noobstowner who you've probably heard of-- please welcome, ummfredfelizco!

[Applause and talk show music]

Ummfred (U): Hello everyone! Glad to be here tonight. Nice IGN by the way, Host!

H: Why thank you! It took me weeks to decide. But yours seems like you came up with your IGN within seconds.

U: Yepp, quite literally. Effortless thinking.

H: Effortless, like our 5-minute registration system. Tell me, ummfred, when did you join Noobstown?

U: Uhh, around the time San registered. Early September, 2012.

H: Great! And now you're still here. What was it that got you to stay?

U: Initially it was mcMMO, being family-friendly, and the freedom to explore and go solo. Then about month later I decided to actually use chat, and things were never the same.

H: (Laughs) What is your favorite memory in V5?

U: Favorite? Three things come to mind: making my first friends, getting asked to be a TA, and a distant third is DiggyPerro buying Dragon Eggs for 5k.

H: "Money makes the world go 'round," hmm?

U: I think it's "Diamonds makes the world go ...square."

H: I ...see what you did there. Ahh, you've mentioned making your first friends in Noobstown. Care to tell us a little about them?

U: Sure! Newbie Cleve was in the mining world asking for food for 10 minutes. And I was just finishing up wheat farming herbalizing, and making bread. So I decided to tp, and next thing I know we were fishing in a NewCaprica pond in the night with another friend, Kjc. This was after weeks of being a solo player so making my first friends changed everything. The rest of the story is here somewhere. I don't see them as often anymore though. And I've made lots of other friends as well.

H: Tell us about your saddest or least favorite V5 moments.

U: Anime leaving town to build his own. (Pause) Of which I was sad but proud... and built a "crying corner." Oh, another unpleasant thing is this one resident who disrespected and griefed even after the mods and town staff showed them respect. Hmph. And also, I know this is weird, but reaching mctop 10 was kinda sad for me.

H: That's a prestigious spot to be in--to be the 10th best among tens of thousands of people. Why was it sad?

U: Mostly it was like reaching the top of a tall mountain. You ask yourself, "Now that I'm here, what do I do next? What's the next goal?" The journey there was fun, though.

H: You're getting quite serious there, ummfred.

U: (Muffled laugh)

H: Let's switch gears and move on to the next question. What are some of the funniest moments you had in V5?

U: Acquiring AQW's Hitting Stick and hiding it from him. Starting a Noobstown meme thread. ("Read the signs!"). And just random stuff on global chat. Did you know one time Mojang got banned?

H: Ha! I think I was on a holiday when that happened.

U: Yepp, I took a screeny. And just other random things like mods kicking themselves or other mods. Ohh! Did you know that I lived in the mining world during my first few weeks on the server?

H: How did that work out for you?

U: Well, I built up my base, complete with big wheat and sugar farms, fishing and acrobatics area, and tunnel to the mines. This was all right underneath a jungle so griefers weren't a problem. But then that sign by the portal that I always just ignore... finally hit me. "Resets Oct 1st." That's when I went into panic mode.

H: That's hilarious! What did you end up doing?

U: I hesitantly decided to look for a town, and ended up joining Tortuga because of the pretty view of a plot that just screamed my name.

H: And now you're one of the town's assistants. You've gotten a lot of achievements since then--you made your way up to the Top 10 leaderboards, built nice structures, even owned 4 embassies in 4 different towns at one point... Which one are you proudest of?

U: Again I have three things in mind, and I think I'll mention the best one last. There's the mctop leaderboards, yes, and there's also my World Map thread, where I was happy to compile the town locations so everyone can know where's where. But I think I'm proudest about my pirate music.

H: Your musical plot at Tortuga! The Pirates of the Caribbean theme, in full length. I've heard it's pretty epic.

U: Yeah I guess; at least that's what I've been told. I can spot a few sour notes though, I guess from people accidentally right-clicking the note blocks.

H: What was the best present you've ever given someone in Noobstown?

U: Oooo, that's a toughie. Can it be intangible?

H: Technically, our characters are just 1s and 0s in a computer so we, the items, the land... are all intangible. Buuuut sure.

U: Fine. I'd have to say it's Wall's Minion Armor Set. I thought she'd appreciate some enchanted, renamed dyed armor to match her minion skin. Her reaction was priceless =) Enchanted diamond axes and "respect vouchers" probably come next on the list. But for the intangible, I wanna say whenever I successfully train or teach or help a resident become a "pro" in Noobstown. Somb, Anime, and Polar, just to name a few. For me that's like getting one of those golden little-people trophies.

H: What was the best present you've ever received?

U: A high-end, four-enchant bow from the master archer himself, Max. I went ahead and added UnbIII to it. Oh, and a chain chestplate from Anime right when it became available as a mob drop.

H: Last question. What are you gonna do when V6 comes around?

U: Helping rebuild Tortuga under the Cap'n's leadership and with the crew will be a main priority. Along with trying to grind mcMMO levels. I'd also like to continue making music, and re-give the presents I gave in V5.

H: Okay, I lied. Here's my last question. What'll happen to AQW's Hitting Stick?

U: I-I-- (Stammers) I'm not sure. Because of its mysterious powers, it can only be crafted by AQW himself, so I guess we'll just wait and see. It'll probably just bring itself to existence in V6 and end up in some unfortunate player's inventory.

[Laughter]

H: Well there you go folks, ummfredfelizco. We appreciate you joining us. We'll see you back here soon. All the best in V6!

U: It's been a pleasure, Host!

H: Coming up, you'll hear even more V5 stories. And why ramen noodles is the official dish of Noobstown. Stay tuned!

Hello there ok where do I begin hmm... Ahh with regestration. Me and my freand first signed up the July 2012 but I lost the email and i dident know what to do so I ended up figuring it out late September early October and was able to get online. I remember my first week was awkward i dident know what to to or where to go I was told by a mod to join one of the many beautiful towns out there so I asked in chat checked out a few towns none we really my type so I kept asking and wata you know ummfredfelizo private msg me ING about joining the town tortuga so I tpa'd to him and he took me on a tour around the town. I instantly fell in love so he got me a plot right near the farm. Thanks to him being slow and understanding I was able to settle nicely and collect wood and sugar to sell at the farm. Soon after I settled I met my nehboir xXAnimeOXx me and him went on lots of mining expiditions. After about a month I asked fredo how I could help the town so he made me a recruter and I helped him repave streets and take down houses. Intull he made me a town architect so that he wouldent have to reset the plot perms on the plots and then after a few months tekstyle4x20 promoted me to a TA. During my time in tortuga I have made many freands in the town such as fredo tek pirate orbit aj and protocol alpha. One of my favorite memories has to be when we had the Christmas drop party's and their was so many ppl jumping around. In v6 i will spend more time u
Helping out around town and working on my mcmmo skills!!!
Thx for a fun server.

Day 1: The Awakening.
After receiving the invitation and entering the coordinates I arrived at the new world. I had been placed in some sort of holding or staging area. There were others present here also. I could see some of them as well as view their communications on the console that was provided. Many seemed confused about what to do even though the entire area had been covered in signs that instructed the course of action. I could see their messages on the console asking how to get out. I ignored them as I prepared for the next jump. I logged out of the console, confirmed my position with the new world base and re-entered the coordinates.

The new area materialized before me and I took a tentative look about. I appeared to be in the courtyard of some giant castle-like structure. It looked clear that the same architect had designed both the previous holding area as well as this castle. I did a quick evaluation, but the wilderness seemed to be calling to me as it always does upon entering new worlds, so I walked toward the castle walls and under the portcullis.

There was some sort of ocelot pen just to the right of the gate. It didn’t hold my interest and beyond it I could make out a steep hillside that someone had built a home into. Not much else was to be seen so I headed for the hillside slaughtering the local free-range livestock on my way. The door to the home was locked and I had to drop down from above. It looked like someone before me had already cut through the cobble stone wall. After a short exploration without discovering much I headed back outside through the same opening.

I roamed around the land for a bit more, never encountering another person, when I realized it was time to go. I once again logged out of the console and returned to my real body. I would have to come back soon and spend some more time. It was a long while before I would return.

Day 321: The Return.
I had been to many worlds and thrived on my own, often overcoming hardships and trials, but it was always just me. Well, and the monsters, they were always there. It was a lonely existence and I thought about ending it and not continuing, but then I remembered that new world I had visited long ago and how there had been others there. It had seemed like an inviting place so I vowed to return and really get to know it. Maybe these other people could enhance my experiences with their own. Maybe the adventure was not over.

I returned to the same castle area and it was mostly as I had remembered it. The time I spent there was short so my memory may be fuzzy. There was a marketplace just beyond the fountain that I didn’t see last time. No one was in sight, but the occasional message would display on the console so I knew they were around. I was eager to get out into the wilderness again so I made the familiar trek toward the castle walls. The ocelot pen was still there just off to the right, but nothing else looked as it did the last time. The landscape looked blasted and broken. Constructions of long ago sat disheveled and in disrepair. Houses and homesteads were abandoned with their walls, floors and ceilings punched through with gaping holes. In some, water poured out from some unseen source. As I slowly absorbed the wrecked landscape around me, I hadn’t noticed that night had fallen or the spider behind me.

As I stepped though a barren field, its crops long taken, I heard the sickening slurping sound all too familiar just before the eight-legged abomination pounced on me. He hit me from behind and I turned to face it, also seeing a zombie slowly approach as his groaning reached my ears. I punched the giant spider to death and fled from the zombie. Racing across the terrain almost as fast as my heart was. How Foolish. I was so astonished by the sights that I had gathered no resources and now dark was upon me. I had no choice but to continue running. The ruins around me offered no shelter from the monsters. Despite my close encounter I was more excited by this new adventure then trepidatious so I ran on into the night.

After sprinting for what seemed like a very long time, I eventually came across a forgotten wheat field, half flooded and ruined, but some wheat still grew. I collected all of it being sure to replant the seeds I obtained and continued my journey. More than 2000 meters later and feeling tired I stumbled upon a large house in the middle of the dessert. There was some minor damage which I cleaned up and decided to stay here for awhile, if only temporarily. I crafted a chest and furnace and investigated the huge pit mine close-by and stocked up on some resources.

Day 321 continued: Heigh – Ho
Despite not encountering anyone yet, their constant chatter of communications over the console let me know they were around. Monitoring those and the broadcasted messages of this new world, I deduced there were portals to other worlds near where I had first entered. I also realized that there must be a console command to bring me back there without having to walk all the way back. I impressed myself by getting it right on the first try and the fountain materialized in front of me. There was also a sign I hadn’t noticed before that was either written by or about someone named Bernard. It didn’t concern me so I went looking for the portal and soon found it close by. It was much larger than the ones I was used to, but I hopped through regardless and found myself on top of a hill overlooking stripped landscape in all directions. This must be the “Mining World”.

I explored the dangerous surroundings and underground, soon gathering a full inventory of resources before transporting myself back to the now familiar fountain or “Spawn” as it was called. I then started the long journey back to my temporary home. All the while I was covering those 2000 meters I was thinking there must be a better way. And there was.

Day 322: Of the Third Kind.
I had discovered a console command that would bring me back to this house instead of walking there every time. What a time saver, I was chagrinned at not discovering it sooner. Back in the Mining world, there were few places left unplundered, but I s****ed out what resources I could. I had been at it for some time and decided to take a break from the monotony by building a small cottage on the seaside and crafting some iron armor. There was also the mystery of the glowstone dust that randomly popped out of the dirt while I was digging. As I was putting on the stone roof of the cottage and contemplating the meaning of the glowstone dust, I noticed them approach. There were three of them and I was apprehensive of their shining diamond armor and swords. I equipped the bow I had obtained from smashing a skeleton to let them know that I too had a weapon before putting some cobblestone in my hand. I didn’t want to provoke them as I was unsure of their intentions and didn’t know yet if they were hostile.
One of them hailed me by calling out my name. “Prof. Templeton”, they started, “you cannot build a house in the mining world”. I had seen the messages being broadcast at regular intervals, presumably by the rulers of this world, as well as the sign at the portal that brought me here. But, this wasn’t a house. These people must have very low standards. I was merely passing the time with this construction. Besides it was no more than a room with a sloped roof. Before I could think of any witty responses the apparent leader hopped in a boat and was headed toward the open sea while the two remaining either wandered off or disappeared, I don’t know which. The leader’s confident voyage into the moonlit waters inspired me. Maybe there was more to be discovered out there?

Day 323: There and Back again.
From almost the same spot I headed out to sea myself. At first I sailed along the coast and then across the open water. After some time I sighted land and decided to make a landing, destroying my craft in the process.

This part of the world was virtually untouched and I made my way through the swamps and bogs looking for a more habitable area. I was climbing a small hill on the edge of the swamp when suddenly I was thrown backwards. Surprised but unhurt I attempted to crest the hill again only to, once again, be throw backward. Perplexed, I then noticed the message displayed on the console. I had reached the edge of the world. There was obviously some sort of containment field in place. Whether to keep us in or something more sinister out I did not know. I back-tracked for a bit and settled on a spot to be my surface entrance to my personal mine. I built a smallish hut using the local resources and proceeded to burrow into the earth. I discovered many valuables deep underground and took those with me storing the rest of what I mined in a few hastily crafted chests. I decided to trek back to the ocean via a straight line route before transporting out of this world. Mainly so I could get a feel for the land. I made a note of my position in the console and headed out. I had almost reached the ocean when I saw a village in the distance, mostly intact, but clearly stripped of its possessions. I rounded the corner of one of the small building and almost ran into another person. Startled and on edge, I wondered what they were doing way out here so far from the entry portal. They were alone, however, so if they wanted to start any trouble I would put up a good fight. I made a show of inspecting the desolate village and when I looked again for the other person they were gone. I called it a day and headed for home.

Day 325: Clean Slate.
I had made a couple of more trips to my mine at the edge of the world on the previous day. Always exhausted by the long walk to get there, but still invigorated by the potential of discovering those treasures deep underground. I had done some research on the glowstone dust mystery in the mean time. It seemed this new world was monitoring me and would occasionally reward me by teleporting items for me to pick up as a thank you for the work I was doing. Why I was being rewarded for plundering the landscape and working toward my own self benefit I still did not know. The rulers here were strange.

I stepped through the portal and was not prepared for what greeted me. The Mining world as I knew it was no more. It had either changed completely or this portal now linked to a different world. Whatever the case, my little mine on the edge of the world was now gone and I would have to start over. I struck out in a random direction and eventually found some coordinates that would be easy to remember and I bored my way down to the bottom of the world. I set up a branch mine system and went to work. This new world had much more to offer then the old one, it seemed, so maybe the change was for the better. I was making a tunnel that went through a large underground ravine when I noticed two names had appeared on my HUD. I could tell there were two people just on the other side of the rock wall. Apprehensive but encouraged by the neutral outcome of my previous encounters I decided to be bold and mined my way through the rock emerging into the same tunnel as the two others. I said nothing to them and continued my branch mining back the way I had come. My sudden appearance must have scared them because when I came back with the next branch they had erected a thick cobblestone wall across the tunnel they had made. I popped a hole in the wall and took a look about, but they were gone.

Day 327: Moving Day.
The time had come to find a permanent place to settle. My borrowed home did not feel like mine. I hadn’t built it, I couldn’t morally modify it, and besides, it was in the middle of a dessert. Not very hospitable. A short walk and a long boat ride later I can across a small island in the middle of an otherwise empty sea. And by small, I mean 2 square meters above the surface. Still, I could tell there may have been some type of structure here previously, although almost all remnants of it were eroded by both time and the sea. I disembarked and set about laying the foundation for my new home.

I started off with a modest house with a cozy second floor bedroom and eventually added a dock. I had made a few trips back and forth to my former residence in the small one man leaky craft so I was feeling I had a mastery over the waves and I needed a bigger boat.

Day 331: It Takes Shape.
Construction of my ship was finally complete. Many sheep gave their wool in the making of its sail and the water around my home had been cleared of squid in order to dye it. In the end though it had proven too large to really be of much use, but it did add character to the place. I will probably just leave it at the dock.

Around my new home I built more small islands for agriculture and recreation. On one of these I began work on a huge tower, almost 50 meters tall. It was an impressive structure to be sure. I added a basement to my house with a storage area and installed an enchanting table upstairs. I had settled in nicely. While I was fishing I pulled a pair of magic boots right out of the sea. I took it as a good omen.

Day 335: Other Civilizations.
I was feeling restless. I had discovered that this new world was not lasting and I would eventually be transferred to a new one. At what point in time was uncertain. I decided to hold off on further expansion of my home, but what was I to do in the mean-time? I was aware of the various settlements scattered around the world called “Towns” so I embarked to go visit them. I had discovered a woefully out-of-date map that clearly showed some of these settlements and there relation to the spawn fountain. I knew there was a console command that would take me to the town of my choosing, but a trek through the wilderness seemed more exciting. The first town I would visit appeared to have some sort of airship seen on the map and was a good distance North-West of the spawn fountain. I ultimately arrived, weary from the trip, and discovered the town to be as impressive and I thought it would be. They had massive community farms and had somehow managed to obtain items I thought inaccessible.

Day 344: Eventful.
I visited three other towns since then, all of them well constructed. The next two were both located high up in the sky, one above the clouds even. On a visit to a fourth town named after the Spanish word for Tortoise I scaled a giant sloped wooden roof and jumped to what, in the twilight, I thought was water only to smash into the hard ice below. My consciousness was immediately reloaded at the spawn fountain and I mourned for all the lost items I had been carrying only to discover I still had them. This world was more benevolent then others I had visited.

I learned that the inhabitants of this world also liked to play at sports of some sort called Mob Arena and Spleef. When a message went out over the console about a Mob Arena match being played I decided to see what it was about. Unfortunately by the time I got all my items and armor stored I was too late to join the match, but I got to watch from a special spectating area. I caught sight of one of the “Overseers” who, by some kind of specially imbued powers that, I can only assume, were granted by the world’s rulers, flew around atop the action in the arena below.

The combatants defended themselves against hordes of monsters. Knowing that, unlike normal, death was not an option, I was intrigued and it actually looked like fun. At the end of the match all the fighters and the overseer moved on to another area, but I didn’t know where. I entered the “join” command into the console and played a match all by myself. Upon arriving back at home I believe I may have been given some items.

Day 347: Beheaded.
The endless mining can get tiresome and I sometimes look for a diversion. About a week ago I built a giant Dwarf head in the Mining world and for several days it greeted me as I trekked off to my mine entrance. One day I showed up and it was completely gone. I wonder if the rulers of this world took offense or considered it a false idol. I had better not mention it.

Day 353: The future.
I have been here fully for a month now, but almost a year since I first visited, and the other people are accepting. I have tried to be helpful, offering up some of the magic tools that I continue to fish out of the sea around my home. New people are arriving all the time and their confused messages asking for the way out of the holding area are a constant background noise. I have come to learn that this world is called V5 and we will all, eventually, be ported over to a world called V6. Despite the similar names, I have also learned this new world will be in an entirely different region. I still have not found out how long we are to be allowed to remain here, but I believe I will try to make the best of the adventure that lies ahead.

When I started in Noobstown I was originally just looking for a small server that I and my friends could set up a safe haven but I did not realize that what I would find was in my eyes is the perfect server.

First few days I set out for land that was not occupied, I came across a jungle biome (Probably in the mining world lol) that was practically untouched. I tried to gather resources but food was the hardest, I ended up starving 3 times before someone told me I could use /buy and /sell commands. I do not remember who this was but they are what kept me from giving up and I am forever grateful.

Eventually I set to the seas and found a spot just off shore from what is now Dillimore :D.

I'm new to Noobscraft, But I've liked being here, what I noticed was the friendliness of the server , except for the mobs , when I first started, I was on the mining planet heading for an area that wasn't protected to hole up for the night, I lost the starter kit in the first wave of skellys and spiders, fought off 3 skellys barehanded and managed to find a little wood in an uncut treetop along with some saplings , that greew into a tree farm just outside of my hidey hole mine, I had lots of trees when some one was cutting wood I let them, then I heard an explosion looked and saw a pile of stuff I should have put in a chest but he never returned to claim his stuff, I was a little angry he had raided my wheat farm, I wouldn't have minded so much but he hadn't replanted, so no wheat is left for any in need . should have worn armor harvesting trees at night. I have moved further out I hope people replant the trees so all can have wood when you need it , my way of saying Bob was here.

I don't knoe very much about the update, other than the auction, I've been on websites with auctions before and they become annoying spam mostly, and can be abused I hope it doesn't, I hope shopsell stays that's my favorite feature, Bob the ancient miner.

On my first day in Noobstown I traveled really far from spawn where no griefers can locate me then I build a simple compound, one bed, no roof, a small farm, and some cobblestone blocks & fence for protection. From that point I started to build a quarry of 16x16. I dug it from layer 72 up to layer 32 which is really deep. Finally I made a mansion, I made a  perfect paradise for myself. Since the mob spawning still have problems no mobs spawn so I can't get XP I can only get it in smelting. I made an xp grinder that doesn't use a mob spawner, it's just a one large box that has pure darkness. I just figure it out that it was useless only 0-3 mobs spawn ever like 1 day I think. I kept selling stacks of wheat, and other sort of crops that can be sold. I've gathered 20K nbz and I'm ready to move to a town which will provide more protection and good benefits. I sold my mansion just for 10nbz, but the player that I sold on to was generous enough he gave me some extra 50nbz.

In my first day on a town I had a hard time moving my things esp. the valuable ones. Once I've done moving my things I quickly build my new home I made it identical to my old one so I won't miss the good o'l times. After  time past I'm starting to loose my wealth because of the tax so I bought a 2nd plot where I built one huge automated farm and my 3rd plot is a tree farm so I can also have a wood supply and in the wild just near the town which is a dessert biome I build a Disc harvester and I collected discs that I like. after some month I've earned 10K nbz and one player that quit gave me 20K so my money boosted from 15K to 35K every player in the server recieved the same amt. turns out we all got easy money. One day the town Shinkesai which Anime owned got technical difficulties. All plots, redstones, and owned doors are gone so the town turned into wilderness which make it a ghost town. I have a new town to live called Redskin Nation owned by AdrianCavi. The town is flat and roomy which is a good place to live so I took his request on the fly. Just like the first time in town I had a really hard time to move my items. This time I made a slight changes to my house's blueprints so it would look better. I've finally made my home, now it's time to make furnitures and new enchantment room which is hard to make. I always find a way to earn money so I AdrianCavi notified me that there's a 3 16x16 plot in a row, I quickly bought it so that I can earn money as quickly as possible. It took me like 1 month to build a very large automated farm with a tree farm inside of it. Once I've done the whole building I made a small lounge on the rooftop. Since the town is a one large floating flat land the ground level is at about 120 + 65 so I have a perfect view for sunrise and sunset. I continued earning money until I have no more task to do. Now I feel like I have no more purpose in the server.

When I V6 was announced I was shocked about was will happen on all what I've done. I kept asking to ensure until I see the V6 changes in the Forums. It seems that I have no choice, but to do good stuff as much as I can before I start anew in V6. This is my V5.9 story thank you for taking your time in reading this article.

Memories
Beginning
When i look a back at my first impression of Noobs i think that i must of been blind to think so poorly of the server before entering, because when i look at my accomplishments;i’ve destroyed mountain and built cities within a day and all with the support of friends. Noobs has made me a better minecraft player the people here have entertain me and taught me as well. there always seem to be a reason to play minecraft when Noobs is up (which is pretty much always). My friends and i have played on the server many hours and for that i thank the administration for making the server possible and the community for making it fun.
V5 was my beginning/birth and it will always have a special place in my heart which i will never forget. i still remember my confusion of all the commands wondering how i will ever remember them all wondering at spawn hoping to find a home. My first nights were cold, dark, and lonely(mostly spent at the mineworld) i didn't know much about the server or how towns worked. Three days into my first week at noobs i finally decided that the my inventory and ender chest can't hold many more thing, so i wander out of spawn to build a new home looking at the grief i become a frighten miner. there was my savior deathemachine who invites me Pirate's Cove. From that day on my love for the server grow and my eyes widen as i see how the community works together.
My lovely house
Nothing much when i first bought it look more like a pile of leaves and sandstone, with some TLC i have made it my home and it will probably be the thing which i will miss the most going into V6 which make me sad, everything has it’s end. Over time my house has had improvements, yet it still has the same door frame and door which i will re-create in V6, i remember when AlexManzo was first to noobs and i made an addition to my house by making it two stories higher because we were going to live together. I also remember finding the secret basement, the former owner of my plot had decided to make a secret enchantment room.
pick of house after the first remodel
After me and alex remodel it
Happy easter
I have other plots a and build around the map, but my house will will always be my first. i have also restored a floating island house that was hit by massive grief, created a store in the shopping district of PC, and my wilderness house in the middle of the ocean as well many other build that i have help on.
Adventures
Being an ‘merican i am very competitive so me and my friend have alway competed in events and also making competitions between ourselves. Most of the my memories include me and Alex talking through skype (shout out Skype), so as long as i have someone there with me time continues to fly.  My adventure will continue into V6 roaming and getting to know the community has been my adventure.
What’s next?
V6 will be a big move for all of us. New memories and friends will be made.

Beginning
I first found out about noobs from my good friend barrientos9637 so i gave it a try. At first I had no idea how anything worked in the server so he helped me learn the basics. Then he invited me to PiratesCove and he let me stay at his house till I found a new one. Everyday we'd find something to do if it meant mining, exploring or pvping. The town's people were nice and the community was amazing soon enough I got addicted to the server. I Later helped Barrientos build a pet store located in PiratesCove and a couple other plots.
Promoted
One day I was on the outskirts of my town when our town mayor comes up to me. He talked to me about expansion of the town and how he needed help. I helped without hesitation to destroy a huge mountain by the town. Originally I thought it was in the wilderness since I was able to break blocks by the town , but then I realized I've been made a TA for PiratesCove. barrientos9637 and Doc_Engie helped me break down the mountain and we put in a new town park and houses.
Later On
My cousin RamirezLuis joined our town and hung out with barrientos9637 and me. The 3 of us had some wacky adventures and a lot of deaths. One day we decided to split up and build. Barrientos went to fix up his new acquired floating cottage, while Ramirez and me started our progress on "The Office" which came out better than we thought.
Currently
Recently I've just been helping helping around PiratesCove and on the server. I've also been creating prototypes in my basement (oooo scary). My most recently released prototype would be the "Soda Machine" A.k.a a potion shop. Currently there's only two made but I'll look into making more of these in the near future.
V6 Plans
I plan to either recreate PiratesCove with the other TA's or make a town with barrientos9637 and RamirezLuis. Either way the main focus will to get more people to join and keep coming back to noobs so the community keeps growing.
