Are punishments different?
« on: 24 Apr 2012, 00:01:04 »
I've been really bored so i read a couple posts on report users and ban appeal. It seems that if someone has been playing on the server longer or is good friends with a mod or something, then the consequence diminishes. Someone of a long playing time griefed a bunch of bookshelves and there was screenshot proof with log block proof. The moderator who dealt with it just said "ill have to see for myself, ill roll it back". Now if that was a person who was only playing for a day on the server, would the consequence be worse?

This is not true. The punishment depends on what and how much has been griefed. For example if someone was to grief a small number of blocks they would get 1-2 warnings, temp ban and then perma ban. If it was a large amount of griefing done then it would pretty much be a ban instantly depending on who bans them will choose what type of ban will happen.

Guests who spam tend to get perma banned instantly as that is all they are there for.
