Like I have said in other topics similar to this one, our head moderator has taken these time zone conflicts into consideration and will choose a moderator that will best benefit the server.

*Cough* Me *Cough* That was just a joke.. XD I would love to be Moderator tho :/ but asking wont get me anywhere :P

One big problem in this is that the admins don't want to make someone mod they don't really know or trust. If they're not on as much in that timezone then of course they don't know many people in said timezone, therefore the people they can choose from in the timezone are very limited and they may not trust anyone they know to actually be a mod.

That's just my two cents though.

This is not true in the slightest, we once had this player called Kerean_Honeybell.  Within her second week of joining the server she became a moderator.

Hmm I have always thought it was a rule against speaking anything else then English but I was wrong :p

You are correct.  This rule is in place because the administrators are British and Britain is an English speaking country, if you want to speak fluent dutch and have conversations in dutch, please find a dutch server.  If not, continue playing on this English speaking server.#

Oh and as for what Lickster said, Ineedaname - our head mod has told us that he has taken into consideration, timezones.  Then he decided that TidalMewMew should be the new operator, I've nothing against Tidal and infact I'm glad she's on our team.  But it doesn't make sense to add another American moderator.  I do hope our next is from the Pacific timezone.

As previously mentioned by AlbatrosV5, there is indeed a pretty number of members that are from the Netherlands. Including me. But I do not think it would be necessary to have a dutch moderator. For I do not know anyone from Holland who can not speak basic english. Plus, that generally when the people from holland are online, from my experience, there are always UK based moderators or admins on who can service "us". So in my opinion dutch moderators are not needed.

If that is the case the following rule needs to be updated, it states that speaking your language is only forbidden in the global chats, but not in the other chats like /local or /msg.
http://www.noobscraft.com/server-announcements/server-rules/
5) SPAM / LANGUAGE
"As well as bad language, we also do not accept foreign languages in the server. Sure, you're allowed to speak to each other in your own language via local chat or "/msg", but it's not allowed in the global chat room."

Does this ruling that english has to be spoken everywhere also apply to signs you put up on your plot?

Well I have seen enough of what people think about the idea of adding a new mod in this timezone so I will just lock the topic thanks for voting above ;)
