i have a suggestion for the introduction of war if 2 towns have a rivalry then thay can ask a op or fatnoob if thay can declare war any fighters are required to turn there pvp on. a few suggestions are that it is only allowed in the wilderness so armies can build forts or castles (The only people that can fight are people that have official towns that are protected so there is no griefing)

Actually, the Towny plugin actually has something like this! I've wanted to use it for a while, although I think nations need to fight I don't know if it'll work for towns...

good idea dean. Being a captain in the morningwood army, i especially like the forts and castles part, as that is my job as captain. I would love the occasional war, just to liven things up a little. How would people win? Would there be any conditions for it? e.g., "all of this cities forts and castles were taken/destroyed, the other city wins" or just until everyone is sick of fighting?

We should have at least 2 nations. That way cities can be part of them and we can have a "balance of power". this might turn into something like a civ game.

good idea and you will win by all forts are taken over by the army and all enemies defeated also there can be defencive methods of war from other towns basically if another army it threatening to take over you can declare war on them as a defence

ahhh.... Hey, would there be a rule against building a tower 8 tall (just by jumping and placing blocks) and then shooting arrows? the people you shoot at wouldnt be able to get you, ever, because they cant reach you. only with arrows can they, and they will be dead before they try to aim.

It needs to be a real fort/castle with walls and a building that is possible to get in but there is no rule on how many you can build also i was thinking of building a main office to organise wars between leaders

its ok i was just thinking of having it as open warfare not confined to an arena nations can recruit scouts to find enemy forts

yeah but then say a random person could build a fort and then get attacked/ have loads of people investigateing it when they dont want them to.

white flag=surrender
red flag=at war
green flag=neutral

I could make an arena with predetermined completely destructable forts. With a coloured block included in the center of each that has to reach the other castle. Like Castle wars in Runescape :P
