Here is a topic that came up as an idea recently, as I'm sure everyone is just as excited as I am about V6 being released in just a few days.

But I got to thinking, and with everything that V6 has going for it, people might think it is overwhelming at first.  So why not think for a minute or two, and share/discuss with everybody what your top 5 goals are that you would like to achieve in v6 of Noobstown? Setting goals and discussing with the community can be a great way to get involved, and get ideas on where to start when you first step into the new minecraft world. Direction is nice to have, especially if you get distracted as easily as I do.

*Please don't make fun of other peoples goals on this forum post, we are all friends here and we want a nice start to the new version, so try to keep it friendly *

I'll start off, here are my top 5 (in no particular order):

1.  Rebuild Oakvale -  I once made a city back in the day, where Oakvale thrived and the community was like family.  I want us to remake it, and bring back the community we once had.  GO OAKVALIANS!


2.  Build a monument - It will be remembered on the server for newcomers,veterans, and staff.  People will gaze in awe of it's beauty.

3.  Become a part of the noobstown team - I love this server, and it's one of the biggest reasons why I love minecraft so much.  I SALUTE TO YOU NOOBSTOWN V6


4.  Do something large and not necessary - I will try and attempt to make the largest tree on the server. That is, if I don't fall to my death first....

5.  Redstone - I will attempt to try and actually figure out how the new redstone pieces work from the redstone update, since I still haven't made time to practice on it!  Anyone willing to teach?

It is in tekkit, yes, but after a slight material change it will be all better

I have 2.
1. Build my own personal city(not a town).

2. Get tons of diamonds, emeralds, iron, gold, and beacons.

Reminds me of nole's jungle tree plot!

I don't have 5 goals right now cause i am new but here are mine and I have a question afterwards.

1.  Try and be one of the richest players.
2. Build a town. Craftymatt13, myself and our daughter, Bamagirl365 are going to attempt a town. We have never done that and think it would be fun.
3.  When I learn enough about the server, I would like to be able to help others
4. And I will try not to warp to spawn on fire looking for water because I had a bad trip to the Nether as craftymatt13 has done in the past. LOL.

And now the question for TidalMewMew. How in the world do you set yourself on fire with a cookie? I am really puzzled at that one. LOL.

1) Be the best Staff member evah~
2) Host events that are popular and offer enjoyment to the community
3) Mitigate fall out from bugs, down time, and general chat ruckus
4) Master the economy and offer supplies at competitive rates
5) Last but not least:  Make new friends and enjoy the family I have found on Noobstown.

Make sure to invite me to do some fishing, Aqw! I will work on making a dock of some sort so we have lots of places to fish in a group like in v5

I've Changed a little of my plans at least at the beginning.....

To make 850k to get a town, and to get lots and lots and lots of Quartz and Brick Blocks (a chest of each)
