Change a rule
« on: 13 Aug 2011, 00:09:30 »
People latley have been getting warnings includeing me for greifing houses in the wilderness the problems are that some looked abonded due to being empty or looking like a one night temporary shelter and where not claimed and had no sign saying who owned it I am very sorry to the person I griefied but this whole thing can be avoided if there was a rule saying that your house in the wilderness needs a sign saying owned by ... becuse then you can at least ask the person but once again I am extremially sorry to the person I griefed.

I really didnt mean to greif like I said if I would've know that the structure I took a few blocks from was not abodonded I would have not touched it but it looked compley deserted that why I thought that I could take a few building supplies becuse I leave things like I greifed on accident around.

If there are homes in the way of your expansion you should contact a moderator. A moderator can find out who the structure belongs to and you may contact that person via in-game or on the forums regarding the obstruction of your expansion due to their buildings. If the person gives you permission to remove it you may do so. Otherwise, do not touch peoples houses in the wilderness. If you do so and that person returns stating that they were griefed, that is a ban. There is no excuse for griefing and I do not believe that there should be a rule that identifies with any form of griefing, specifically modifying the permissions aspect that defines the act of griefing. The status quo provides maximum efficiency for the moderators dealing with griefers because the cases are absolute. You grief, you get banned. No excuses to review.

The structure belonged to me -.- It was on the outskirts of MY town.  it had mossy cobblestone for the reason to look abandoned.  Whether it is a cruddy old shack or Buckingham palace, you don't grief ANYTHING.
