I know I am not always able to get on computer, but I always have my phone or iPad handy.  I'd like to have a way to join chat from my phone.  I know this isn't wanted due to the anti-afk system in place, but if something could be developed, that would be awesome for us that just enjoy chatting even when we can't play.

Maybe some sort of approved IRC that connects to the chat? Wouldn't slow the server down, and would be easily tracked that it was loaded from approved methods?

In my mind, activity is activity.  Could limit chat to a \chat instead of \g.  So if you are in \chat, you can chat.  Leaving \g for game related chatting.

Teamspeak is fun, sometimes you can just it in it for hours and talk to yourself.
