/Gift Ignore [Name]
« on: 30 Dec 2014, 22:20:50 »
Ever get tired of getting those gifts with sugar cane and random stuff you DO NOT need at all

Well say no more this could be the best opportunity to stop this happening

I'm proposing a /Gift ignore [Name] which would block players from spamming you with absolute rubbish.
Or
/Gift Item Ignore [Name] Which you could put in an individual item you do not want to be able to receive from players.

Thanks for reading and feel free to leave you comments and answers below

Leigh,
as your original post had a censored word in it (with ****) I modified it and changed it for you. Please remember this for the future. Same rules apply here as on the server.

Thank you.

Hm, I'd also perhaps suggest a way to actually see what your gift is without having to put down the chest, kind of like a gift preview. You could then decide whether you cared enough to get the gift or whether it's worth removing things out of your inventory to collect it right now.

If you didn't want the gift you could then perhaps /gift remove or something like that. I've been thinking it's kind of annoying to not know what you're going to get and having no way to remove your gift except by collecting it.

I also hate those players who keep making potion bottles and spam som1 else with their junk or that they dump that lame stuff in some1's auto sorter just to mess it up.

Or they could implant a /gift accept or /gift deny command

Gift works on offline players too, so that wouldn't quite work.

Part of the reason that /gift has been delayed in coming back is that I'm introducing an ignore option for individuals. This is a feature which will be implemented when /gift returns (soon hopefully).

EDIT: This is now a feature available. Use /gift block [name].
