So I was wondering during the downtime of the server could the staff team implement an online chat to the website, i've seen some websites have online/website chats but idk how they do it.

GG, you are right, it will take more time for the server to come out as they will have more tasks, i changed my mind, no online chat

I have to agree with Jack.
Since the last day of Noobstown, I've been using Teamspeak and a few others have too. It'd be nice to have you join us.

At the moment they can't actually do much for Noobstown other than wait for a stable release of Bukkit and a web chat doesn't really take that much time to setup.

The only problem with the chat is that it would probably require moderation :|

It's unlikely but possible. I've been on almost everyday for about 2 hours at least so it won't be hard to catch me.

While this would be a cool idea, I think by implenting a chat system onto the website would take some time and by then the server will most likely be up. Once the server is up, not a whole lot of people use the website. I think it would be a waste of time and definitely would be something temporary.

There is always the forums to communicate and private messages as well.

Thus, I would come in.

I never used Noobscraft's TS so I don't know how they used to handle that, but I guess that if they want to add a chat feature to the website it would require a bit more than just one guy to ensure the same level of "protection" they normally want to offer.

(just as they tried to have at least 1 staff member online at any time on the game server)

On the other hand if you guys can already use an active TS server there's not much point in such a feature
