Good or Bad?

Hey :) lately I've been really thinking about my town Maple Forge and if I should be the mayor :S. I've done quite a decent job with it, but I've not been on much to maintain it, because I've been playing other games. I'm looking to sell the mayor position to someone that is experienced with town commands, that treats everyone with respect and would be evenly fair towards every resident.

If I was going to sell a town I wouldn't usually sell it, but I've put in quite a lot of work into what I've done so far, so I'm not sure what the price should be.
If you have any numbers that come to mind, feel free to comment ;)

[EDIT]: I've decided I will not charge anyone to become the mayor of MapleForge. I guess it's just first come, first serve.

your a great mayor of the most popular city atm!
people wont mind waiting!
and the assistants can help people when you are not on!
what does it matter your not on that much...
I have my times aswell that I play other ggames more, but people dont complain about it,
and there are always loyal assistants that will help out if you ask them.

well... thats all I can say now.... I hope I can change your mind...

I agree with Linda. You can't sell the town after all the work you've done towards it! :O
You can't disappoint your towns folk by leaving them.. it's not what a responsible mayor would do.
But at the end of the day it's your decision and i can't stop you. :)

Oh really? What would a responsible mayor do?

If a mayor, myself for instance doesn't come on much and doesn't help the towns folk as much as they should, that makes them a responsible mayor? (That's how your putting it in my eyes) That's the reason why I'm deciding what to do. I wouldn't be leaving them.., I never said that. People can always come to me for help and I'd see what I can do, even if I wasn't the mayor. I want to allow someone that could do a better job that me to become the mayor of MapleForge.

What your practically saying is that if I stop being a mayor so the towns people can have a better living and more support from someone that is online more than me is a bad thing or if it's "not what a responsible mayor would do"

How about you tell me what "a responsible mayor would do" ?

A mayor of a town doesn't need to be on the game all the time to be a good mayor.
Why else would there be town assistants? Oh yeah.. they're there to help people of the town, not just the mayor can help people. Town assistants can do just as much as the mayor of a town.
A responsible mayor would just make sure his towns folk and residents are happy with the place they're living in, whether the mayor is on or not. Town assistants can help anyone around the town or else there wouldn't be an option for adding them.

I'm always needing to do new things, but I've not got round to doing them..., I've not done any events. I've not even made the town hall yet. I've not made enough plots for my residents, I, myself know that I'm not doing enough. I've had plenty of time that I could've used to make what I need to.

I'm always needing to do new things, but I've not got round to doing them..., I've not done any events. I've not even made the town hall yet. I've not made enough plots for my residents, I, myself know that I'm not doing enough. I've had plenty of time that I could've used to make what I need to.

yeah Jayjay even though you seem to do a very nice job in taking care of your town! Its okay if you are  not on top of things at the moment I do that all the time as a mayor. Then again I do think you have a very good chance at becoming the new op so its probably wise that you are doing this.

I wasn't actually thinking of this when I was deciding, but now I probably will. I have a few people that want the town, I'll have a chat with them and see if they're still wanting it.
