Hey, as you might've guessed I'm new here. Yes.
I'm Blethan (pronounced 'bleh-than', ad odd nick-name I picked up from my odd Welsh name ), and after becoming generally bored of playing minecraft as a single player, I decided to join a server.
Yes, this is my first time even on a server.
So I apologise in advance for all my annoying questions and/or habits. I'll try my best to sort my own problems out :L
Anyway, I'd love some tips on how to get going in this world, where to start, what to do etc.
I'm rather creative and do love a good build.

I'd suggest starting with searching and checking the different towns, easiest way to do this is to check in chat for which towns are accepting new members, remember to check a few before deciding which to stick with. Towns are protected from griefers and usually filled with a friendly bunch of players . If you'd prefer to build alone, you can find someone in the wild (unprotected land) that suits your liking.
