hey everyone....

this is kinda a sad story...
and believe me Im not making things up...
I have to admit I came on less and less...
but a few weeks ago a virus breached my firewall and dissabled my anti-virus system...
it wasnt just a small virus or something...
after a few minutes my laptop started acting weird...
and after that my laptop crashed...
it wasnt able to start anymore...
how hard my laptop tried...
he couldnt start....
after that Ive calling all the companies that could help me..
but I was to late...
my waranty run out and I was stuck without laptop...
without noobscraft...
Ive contacted a few of you on skype and twitter...
mostly James and Matt (the admins) I dont remember if I told Lawrence aswell...
but yeah...
I started to play things on my PS Vita and used it to go on twitter and internet... but it wasnt able to open documents and such...
but just a week ago... I found my old laptop!
but to give the other bad news and just continue... its not able to go on the Noobstown server...
and I still have a broken laptop...
while my new study (Applied Biology) will start in 3 weeks and I need a laptop for that...
I think Im going to send my laptop to the shop where I got it to get it fixed...
because I dont have that much money left... and I want to go to Minecon....
Im even going to find my self a job to be able to raise enough money!
so if you want to see me once more you should be able to find me there...
Ill be hanging out with the Noxcrew who you could know (not that famous like Yohgscast) who I kinda speak to every day.. becaus Im bored and have no server to go on too...
but yeah maybe if you want to hear more about me... you should check their vids out because I will be showing myself in their newer vids!
because I bought myself a new mic that was very expensive just before that virus found its way to my laptop... -.-'
but yeah....
my internet is getting much and much worse lately and this old laptop doesnt like to be on that long...
so I wont be showing my face on the forum that much aswell because my mail is the highest priority right now... :/

but yeah I wont be on Noobstown because I get an annoying error saying:

Connection Lost

internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

when I try to join the server... :/
so I have no way to get on the server...
talk with all of you...
build stuff...
finally finish Yama...
if it even still excists... :/
or Yunaiteddo.... the beloved nation from V4... that everyone loved.... untill everything got destroyed and a lot of people left....

I would really apprissiate it if someone could tell me how things are going on Noobstown and Noobscraft....
and how Yunaiteddo and Yama are doing...
and most importantly I want to know how things are going with you!!!....

I miss you all so much and I cant wait to hear from you again <3

please only reply to this topic if you know me, or have something to tell me about Yunaiteddo or Yama.. I will see any other messages as spam... I am not in the mood for people joking around.

Yama: 108k in the bank, 6 residents
Yunaiteddo: 64k nbz, still 5 towns (Netherforst, MorningWood, Yama, Mapleforge, Empire - the rest went over to Ravenhelm which has now 11 towns)

I assume you have already tried downloading and reinstalling the current versions (deleting the old ones before that) of Minecraft 1.3.1 and Java to get rid of the error, so I can' t give you a tip on that error.

We miss you too Linda. Hope things get sorted out for you soon and we can see you back online.

One thing you can try if you have access to a CD/DVD burner, or know anybody that will burn one for you, is to download and burn a copy of Ubuntu and run it as a LiveCD. Doing it that way you won't have to actually install it if you do not want to, and it may allow you to get to the server and play through the browser.

Also for that matter you could install it on your crashed laptop since it no longer seems to work for you. And if you don't have access to a CD/DVD burner you can use a thumb drive to run the LiveCD or install Ubuntu from as well.

Ubuntu is free, so it won't cost you anything on that one, and may get you up and running again. If you want/need any links, just let me know and I can send them to you.

thanks for the info Albatros it relieves me that they are still alive and that people didnt actually leave because of my absence! and I did remove my whole .minecraft folder and deinstalled minecraft. still doesnt work.

that was my brother his idea aswell. but he had Ubuntu it on a USB stick.
when we tried that my laptop wouldnt start anymore and it is not my screen or anything.
the virus somehow damaged my motherboard probably.
I tried connecting it to another screen but no signal.
and it does try to start  it gives up after a few sec...

Kinda scared me there for a moment.
I thought you had real problems like health and relatives.

I could probably fix your laptop, its not that hard. All you need is a windows CD.
When you start it you just press the delete button, go to bios, choose the boot device as CD(dvd) and then save and exit. The next time you run your computer(with the windows disk inside) you will be able to reinstall windows.
Just make sure you delete everything else before you start using the new windows.

See you soon  ;)

The problem is: the virus messed up your harddrive, i had that in my older computer once.
Re-installing windows wont really help since the virus will be still in your harddrive :P

my brother will take it out and put all these anti virus programs over it so I wont loose the documents that are still on it.
also it means the virus will be gone and windows can be reinstalled...
but... I first need my laptop to be able to start up again....
I really hope my brother will try it today... :/

I have a virus in my old computer, I can't even get the thing to turn on. Its really annoying because I have a lot of really important stuff in that computer like all my music, pictures and a bunch other really important stuff. I wish I knew about it before so could have gotten all the stuff passed over to my new computer, just my luck man.

But this isn't about me, I hope everything works out for you and you get your laptop working, I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to you, im sure it won't.

You need to press Delete button before anything starts. Like, right after you turn on the computer, spam the delete button untill you get a blue screen, a.k.a. BIOS and there you do what I've told you.

thats what I mean xD
I spammed the button and no blue screen

but some other news...
I went to the website from my new study which indicates what I need for stuff like books and programms.
it sais I need a good working laptop with seferal specs.
not the broken laptop or this old one has those specs.
so both my parents agreed on buying a new laptop for me :D
Im going to look for a new one tomorrow together with my brother and not to forget my parents will poay 750 euros probably because they payed 750 for my sister her laptop aswell.
because her old one cant be shut anymore because of some screws messing up.
although her laptop still does more then any of my 2 laptops -.-'
well wish me luck <3

Your nation is still kicking Linda, just thought I'd let you know. Have you gotten the new laptop yet? It still has 35k in the bank. I will donate some more when it gets below 30. I just put 5k into it.
