A blog for the broken.
« on: 3 Aug 2013, 03:33:56 »
Working hard on starting a new project on my helpline blog on tumblr. Please check it out! This started as something as a memorial for a friend that I met ON tumblr who committed suicide in 2011 and now it's helped guide me into deciding what I want to do with my life, which is become a mental health counselor. I believe in the human condition and I believe that through the internet and caring people we can restore faith and hope in people who are in the dark and feel like there is nothing left in their life.

I think this is a brilliant thing you are doing, because it encourages individuals to speak up about any issues they may have, and it gives that person access to a social network so they can chat to other people who may be going through the same thing. Just having someone to listen to you and care about your feelings can improve your day tremendously.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much Waterworth for noticing what I'm trying to do on the internet. Just some small blog that I made for a friend has turned into something that I'm really proud of. We hit 700 followers yesterday and while it may not seem like a big number, it's something that blows me away and again something I'm really proud of.
