Opinions?

Do you guys think its inappropiate for 13 year old to go to each others houses? Like for me to go over to my girlfriends house? Apparently my mom thinks it is but her mom doesn't. What are your guys thoughts? All we do is  watch a movie or play video games or just hang out and talk..

LOOOL people start hanging out with eachother at like 10 and ur what 13? yeah i think...anyways its just at their house she should be letting u go to the mall or movies what ever u want with ur friends, their house should be the least of her worries. im 14 btw if ur mom is reading this XD

In my opinion, it's fine as long as you don't.. "engage" in anything physical. I have quite a few male friends, which I went over ones house to do some go-karting. My father wasn't too happy about it at first (3:1 guy to girl ratio) but I was fine, only playing some video games and having lunch besides the obvious go-karting thing we had. When I came home fine, my father became more accepting of the fact I had hung out with my guy-friends. So my point being, your mom will (most likely) accept the fact you want to hang out with your lady-frand over time. :)

Err I don't really see anyone over the age of 18 so I'll post something:

I think it's fine if you're just playing video games and watching movies, most people your age probably do that. It's a normal way of life, so enjoy it while it last, because when you get to my age it's never the same. lol

Haha this reminds me of my mom so much lol. Your mom is going to be your mom it gets harder for her to see you grown up and she just doesn't want to let you go. To tell you the truth while I think you are still a little young (I wasn't aloud to date in till I could drive) I think that it is fine for you to go over to your girlfriends house or she comes over to your house but ultimately it is up to your parents.

I would say it is okay... unless... nvm but Yeah I would say it would be okay if you just hangout and such and watch a movie because it isn't something bad.... really....

Parents always think about the worst, but they do it to protect you, a bad parent would allow their kid to do exactly what they want, a good parent is protective, and limits what they allow their kids to do, just for their safety.

You should be glad your mom cares about you and your safety.

Ok, you guys have protective parents, i have overprotective parents. I am 17, i have a license and a car, but my curfew is 7:00 pm. I have no time to hang out with my friends. Also, my parents want me in bed by 9:00! Seriously. I just get on the forum or Ifunny:)

Neb, if I were you I'd have your girlfriend come over to your house to show your mom that its perfectly fine. And find ways to reassure her.

But the thing is now, her mom used to be cool with it all and now her mom is getting all ****y (I can say that right?) about it and isn't letting us do anything at all anymore. The only time we spend time together is walking each other to class... .-.
