In October (of 2013) Pokemon X and Y came out. I was wondering if anyone else here plays either of them (or if I'm the only Pokemon nerd). if you and you add friends to your 3ds or 2ds my friend code is: 4339-3026-6808 if you want to add me, I have both and some pretty good pokemon on them so give me a shout if you play and want to trade or battle with me.

ok to find it when you turn your ds on its on that top bar hit the orange square with a face, go to your info and on your card your code should be there.

and to transfer you need pokebank, but the servers crashed so it was supposed to be out but I isn't (hey its pulling a noobscraft

) its like 5 bucks a month but you can store up to 3,000 more pokemon in 100 boxes (private over wifi) but you use poketransfer from you black/white or black/white 2

and when it comes out ill have like every ledgendary and what not because I used action replay on my white and I have this poke builder app that also sends hacked pokemon to the game >

all th epokemon above I got legit during trade, but when pokebank comes out itll mean nothing...

if you want more info on pokebank google it... its too much to explain, even tho I probably could

i remember hearing of this pokebank. a friend told me it was coming on january 31st. AND aparently figured out how to catch shiny pokemon while fishing in 30 encounters or so...and i cant get on the wifi in my pokemon X/Y cuz they wanna charge me salestax for an update that costs $0.00. WHAT DA HECK?!

If you guys want some awesome tips on the game, I used to explore the games till I had every nook and cranny explored and every trick booked. (This was from the Diamond and Pearl games to Black and White 1, but many of the tricks still work).

One such trick that I tried on Olah's Y game (I think it was Y) was when you first enter a battle, hit bag, select a pokeball (OTHER than a Master Ball, preferably a pokeball or great ball), and use it. When the pokeball starts to catch the pokemon (before the ball closes) tap B over and over. When it closes hit B. When it first hits the ground hit B. And lastly, every time it shakes back and forth, hit B. The trick usually works. It will catch any pokemn, even with full health and even legendary. When Smith and I used to play in Diamond and Pearl, he could catch a full health Palkia with a regular pokeball in a couple tries.

See Olah, your problem is that you only have 6 good Pokemon. You need to train more of them so you can build your team to be strong against whoever you face. Knowing how all of the types match up to each other is a huge part of battling.

Exactly. Don't focus so much on one type! Psychic is strong against flying and so is electric, so use them against a Crobat. And of course your Pokemon aren't good to train, because you never use them! If you want your Pokémon to be good then train them.

Exactly. Don't focus so much on one type! Psychic is strong against flying and so is electric, so use them against a Crobat. And of course your Pokemon aren't good to train, because you never use them! If you want your Pokémon to be good then train them.

The way to win a battle is not shear force, especially with my team who is mostly defence. Have a all around team that is half defence and half offence. Get pokemon that are not super effective with one type. Also invest some of your time into ev and iv training (if you don't know what that is that might be the issue).
