What Client Side Mods Will You Use In V6?

Incase someone don't know, a Client Side Mod is something that will only affect your Client if you got it installed, mods like Optifine and so on.

So, what mods if any are you going to use? =)


» Mods I Will Use
- Optifine
- Damage Indicators
- Voxelmap (Known also as Zan's Minimap)
- Inventory Tweaks
- Not Enough Items
- Shatter
- Possibly Shaders

Will probably find more tho, all a bunch of awesome mods.

ah thats nice, i have to look into them to know what each one does. btw are these all accepted by the admins?

My answer will depend on a few things, primarily if 1.7.2 mods work with 1.7.4 client, or if we will be able to connect with a 1.7.2 client.  At a glance, mod support for 1.7.4, and even 1.7 in general is still trying to catch up.

They are only mods that makes your experience with Minecraft better, so as far as I know they are, not sure why they wouldn't be c:

Last time I checked Zans gave a entity radar within the map, (it was banned in v5). A possible alternative is Rei's minimap.

The only one I'd consider using would be Optifine if it's needed.

Most of the performance issues will be caused by high ping this time around (instead of Nvidia/OpenGL related) so most probably it won't make a difference, especially considering that the game engine changed a lot and with my current machine I never saw any FPS drop of any sort.

Isn't that banned in Multiplayer? Or is that only with Rei's Minimap? I just want to try out a new map :p

You can play with 1.7.2 on 1.7.4 servers, at least from my experience.

Ehm... No? xD Inventory Tweaks has never been banned.
