I never really understood the whole "Beware posting your picture on the internet!" thing. I mean like... how many strangers do you meet on a daily basis who not only sees who you are but can actually... well... grab you and any other things? It just always seemed plain silly to me to be scared of people that are only pixels on the internet when there's real breathing people near you who see you every day that you know less than these pixels.

Although there is some merit in being cautious about what you actually give out to people. So long as you're smart and don't go giving off personal information like where you live/etc (Same rules as you'd ever give someone in real life) it seems to me that everyone can enjoy themselves here. ^^

(Note that I'm not saying it's unwise to beware when posting things about yourself, just that it seems a bit overrated in the end when compared to many other things.)

I'm 22 and see nothing wrong with this thread. I understand showing your kids or not showing your kids but if you are of age (or even hnder age) and wish to show what you look like, you have the right to choose. Like someone was saying earlier not a lot can be done woth a picture I don't think. Now if you add personal information then yeah...either way we have a good looking community here.

Hehe, Bexn said the same thing earlier. We've determined a lot of it might have to do with the fact we both have a similar hairstyle currently as well as wear similar glasses.

I've got a mess of dirt, clay, and gravel, but didn't have to dig down to diamond level.
Was really just looking for the source block for where the water was coming in under the house. Need an admin to spawn in a sponge, but for now we've got a redstone circuit powering a sump pump.

I agree, unless your in the witness protection program I don't see you having much to fear, maybe it's different in other parts of the world, idk. I would still recommend asking a parent to ensure that it's ok.
