I don't mean to spoil anyone's fun and maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I wouldn't allow pictures of my children to be posted online for every who knows who to see. The way the world is these days, it's just not safe IMO. And, yes, if you are under 18, you are a child.

I see what you mean by bad landscape but why not white list it for a week and go around with some World Edit magic and make it look pretty.
But if it does go to V6 then I have a few suggestions
1. Make both worlds spawn with no ores, just stone so people won't mine it up
2. Make towns cheaper considering we start with 0
3. Drop parties. (Because who doesn't love them)
The point of towns is that you work up to them. A current issue with them is that there are too many so making them start at 0 cost would be foolish. Also, there is no long term fix for the current destruction of the current map. The only solution is a fresh start which we are luckily getting.

As someone who has been here for every single version of the server which means every reset and every new start I can say that this is a good thing. V5 was well lived and had the longest life of any previous version and with that comes clutter and over population of small areas. There are too many active towns as well as too many deserted towns that just look bad and are not worth holding on too. Surely the joy in minecraft is still building up from nothing and as such we should all see this as an opportunity to do so.

Villagers have been disabled since the release of 1.3. If that sets a precedent, then the re-enabling of Wither Skeletons will not be for a while.

No because that means I'm changing my skin to something that doesn't represent me or things I'm in to :S It's a little silly that we need to change our skins if we want a nicer profile picture, but whatever 
My point exactly. I changed to the default because I am a man like Steve. Not a rainbow. Only logical decision.

I wouldn't want to have my name connected with my Minecraft skin... I don't have an avatar because an avatar is something personal, and should expres something about the person in question. My Minecraft skin is in no way connected to me as a person, and will only confuse people and give them a wrong impression about me. I'm firmly against this change.
In agreement completely. My skin is a rainbow. I, in no way, am not that girlyl.

I saw what you wrote but it lacks logic in many ways. So by the new system it will be easier to identify who says it, as if the name of the person wasn't enough, because their skin is their avatar. I'm lucky if I know what my friends skins are let a lone all the other people. And frankly I don't care what they are and don't see the need to identify them by it.

If you wait until the nether opens lower your prices drastically. Once people can get all these things they wont be expensive.
