I agree, If they really want to be a member there is more than enough resources for them. While I like to help when I can, Answering the same question 16,000 time does get old... Read the forum.... you didnt just sign up for the server, you signed up for the community. ( not you, but them, ARG you know what I mean)
I believe a productive member will be able to find the resources he/she needs right here on the forum, or with the help of global chat.
The tutorial section will help, I agree with that part, and a quiz ( if its short) wouldnt be bad.

Why you want this role: Been debating about putting in my application, but I like to help people. and already do it reguarly. I would love to have the power to help more. Since my daughter plays here, I wanna help "keep Noobstown Clean & safe".
Past experience: Mod on a few servers, been running a local server for my family and I for a while now

What does teaching involve and how will it be done? so it does not fill up the chat logs.
I would be willing to teach a Noobstown 101 course - a basic commands course.
do we post a class shedule -for the times we are having a class, like in a forum post? people can attend the scheduled time?

Unfortunately these do not lend them selves to multiplayer server - they usually need to be manually reset, and are at the most 2 player at a time, plus they can only be played once through ( maybe twice) before they get boring.
I think its a good fun idea, but just not feasible. If you want to try some of the ready available ones, drop the minecraft server on your local pc and install the ready made map. they are fun. I recommend - "its better together" me and Hannah had a fun time doing that one. its 2 player.
If any one can think a way around the inherent limitation, I am all for it.

Hey guys,
So I've Been on about a week, I really enjoy this server. I've been on a bunch of different servers, been a Mod on a few. Most of them fall apart after a few - this one looks like it can/ has gone the distance.
I am probably one of the oldest on the server at 34 - I play with my daughter (11 - Hannahpr2). You will see her on the server every now and again. ( BE NICE!.. LOL)
Don't hesitate to contact me if you need help with any thing, I'm always willing.

Staff,
I would just like to say thank you, Me and my daughter play minecraft together. Your server is the first I have let her go on besides our local inhouse one. She made it on in time for the drop party. All I kept hearing was THIS IS AWESOME!!!. You made her day!
Looks like we found a good home.
