i'd say admins and mods maybe not always have time to read the books, and maybe just "hiring" several people to regularly read submissions and work at the store might be helpful. People can always report the book contents just like they can in chat if there is a problem that gets through the cracks. BUT most importantly what is the store going to be called? Barnes and nOObles?

Most definitely, the mod's and admins Have a lot to to take care of, they would have no time for thing's like that, I would hire someone that is good with grammer and who knows a good story when they see one. EpicEnderMiner looks as if he would be good at the job 
Ty, and I actually am setting up my own library as well. I hope they make a noobscraft library, and if they do, I would definetly volunteer to be a worker there.

If you mean the armor, not minecraft armor, but kind of a more realistic chain mail/plate combo. Like the 12th-13th century kind of european-style armors.

I would to have a skin that looks like an enderman with armor. I will pay up to 5,000 noobz depending on the quality of the skin. If the skin is for example very realistic or the armor is nice I might pay even more.

So, with my library getting more books, I decided that I wanted to copy some of them to be able to sell them, rather than rent them. And so when I figured out that you can exchange books without needing to sign them, thus letting me keep my name as the author, I decided that I would like to hire people to copy my books for me. Each book is around 30 pages long, and to copy a book I will pay around 250-500, depending on the time it takes. So, reply or msg me in-game if you're interested!

Can you copy the books? As in like if you wanted to sell a book but still want to keep it? If you can do that I might start doing that book stuff because I have a lot of things to say and it would be great to write it.
I was going to hire some people to do copy the library books as part of the library service, but the problem with that is that it will show their name as author when they sign it. Also, I would have to pay quite a bit for all the books and quills necessary to make a sufficient amount of copies. There is probably a way around these difficulties, but I don't want to dig into it (Minecraft joke) for a while at least. I may, however, copy some books myself, but that would have to be with short books, as it would take way too long with more extensive books. So, until that time, I will just keep renting the books out and making new ones.

I was just walking by my town's under construction library and considering how that would work if it wasn't just for show. Were you planning to open an actual library? Or maybe having a library wagon going town to town? I would like to share and write lil minecraft books though, sounds like a fun idea.
Yeah, I might re-open my old shop in Kingdom as a library. Until then, I will just give out the books by hand. The difficulty in having an actual library is that there is no chest shop or similar for books, or even if there is I couldn't trust people to return them. That library wagon idea sounds interesting, I might look into it as well.

Hello all! So with 1.3.1 and being able to write in books, I decided that it would be a great opportunity to start a library! I only have a few books so far, but I will be writing more very soon! All of my books are around 30 pages, sometimes more. So far I have completed "The Survival Games," and it's sequel, "Death Blow." You can rent my books for 25 noobz each. Be sure to ask if I have made more if you rent them! Also, if you are an author, I would be interested in purchasing your book to add to my library. I won't accept anything shorter than around 5 pages, and it would have to include somewhat good spelling/grammar. I am currently most interested in guidebooks/how-tos, but I will probably accept most anything! Thanks for reading, and if you have any questions be sure to reply here or msg me in-game!

So, while playing noobscraft, I have came to realize that one of the larger commodities is actually enchanted pickaxes. I was thinking about this, and noticed that different people value different enchantments more than others. So, what types of enchantments do you go for most of all? I am quite curious.

Ooo, thanks for the tip, notavailable666! I didn't even think about the silk touch affecting double drops with the mining skill. I'm still very new to this McMMO skills system.
Silk touch isnt affecting double drops. Its just that when you mine a block, any block, as long as your mining skill allows you to get double drop, you have a chance to get a double drop from the ore block, without breaking it , then place it and get another double drop by breaking it with a fortune 3 pick.
So, if you have a good mining skill, you could repeatedly use silk touch on a diamond ore for example, and then get 2 ores eventually? That is sure going to help me. *Runs to chest and grabs silk touch and fourtune picks.*

So far, it seems that most people don't mind what they mine (no pun intended,) and prefer to get a variety of ores that they can use, or if not use, sell. A generall steryotype is that people often only hunt for diamonds (and with the 1.3.1 update, emeralds,) but it seems that most people would rather get a wide variety of ores. Neat info, hope the poll and these posts will help give people ideas of how to mine more effectively/efficeintly! Be sure to leave comments on the y-coordinates to find certain ores, or perhaps even types of mining, etc. Thanks for your votes!

Those are both impossible. Well the computer one is possible but I wouldn't do it. It would literally take days. Not to mention I don't have an extensive knowledge of binary. I'm good at redstone, but no where near that good. And the diamond mine cart thing? You gotta be kidding me. Thats impossible and if you didn't know that you have alot to learn about redstone. If you want something done, be reasonable, I'm only human.
Computers can't be that bad?

I see your point.
One time, I saw a youtube tutorial for a working TV! And it was only 5 minutes long!! (However, when I looked at it, it was just a painting with a lever next to it.  ) With complicated redstone electronics, its either all or nothing.

It is only natural that when you are walking quickly, some areas will not be visible as the chunks are loading. However, I have seen many lava caves loading before the ground and trees do- which causes me to see the locations of underground caves (although not ores.) This is not any form of X-ray, but I am wondering if, while the chunks are still loading and you see underground, we are allowed to exploit the location of these caves. Thanks!
