While i was cutting off the heads of Caesers Legion and reeking havok on bandits in Fallout New Vegas i thought of this idea. A FACTION SYSTEM!
Now if i remember we had this in the past but it wasnt that popular so it died out. But i was hoping to bring it back to life due to the high number in players. Heres how it can work.
For towny you have nations right? Well lets say those nations need protection.... they form a faction. The faction will defend the nations towns, people, and other things. Nations also might conflict with other nations. So those nations will have a battle with the other nations faction. Factions can takeover towns and convert the civilians in the town to there nation. They can then have domination over that town in their own rules. For instance, lets say a town doesnt tax their citizens but an opposing nations faction comes and takes it. The mayor will be forced to listen to what that nation wants it to do. So now the nation forces the mayor to tax his or her people.
There can also be sieges and such. Like a faction can have camps and bases all around the world and takeover other factions bases and forts.
You also have to fund your army like getting weapons and etc.
I hope this idea was at least worth posting. I will answer any confusion in the comments below.
