So today was my first time in the mining world, and it was a disaster. it's only been about a week since the server opened and the mining world is already a place that's been hit with a world record breaking earthquake, tornado, hurricane. perhaps the renewal should change to 1 wk to 2 wks

So I'm looking for a town(as said above) that meets my preferences. And I would be happy if some town owners would invite me.
IMPORTANT!!!
1. plots are not too expensive.
2.I can build/mine as high/deep as i want as long as it's inside my plot
3. a nice environment (some mountains and an ocean would be cool but doesn’t have to have one).
4. it has a lot of residents or it did have a lot in v4.

1.Facilities such as a mine, furnace room, stuff like that

Noobcrew has come up with a deceptively difficult challenge map. At first glance, it seems easy to meet some of the requirements listed (such as making a furnace). However, it shares a similarity with a number of time-tested games - it is very easy to begin this challenge, but surprisingly hard to master. Overcoming all 20 separate goals requires an amazing amount of patience, skill and determination. The author of this challenge has provided two separate maps, each with its own unique difficulties. Notch recently tweeted about a new mob, which appears to be an assembled snowman! Further details were not released about its nature, abilities or behavior, but it seems safe to say that it would likely spawn in snow biomes.

it's been a while since you guys last heard of me, but I've decided to come back to posting on the forums but not playing on the server. I'll do my best to try to support and help on the forums. I do not play minecraft anymore but i still want this server to be awesome and stay awesome.

i had a fun time with you guys and i want to say goodbye to Noobstown for the fun it gave me. Joe is doing a really great job and will make it better im sure. im getting tired of playing the same thing every time i log on.

I have decided to create a thread with all or most of the upcoming 1.8 news. When you post on this thread make sure you know that the information is RELIABLE AND NOT FAKE. That means that if you find it on some random website that has nothing to do with gaming or minecraft, it could be fake.
Now the news:
In this picture you see a game-generated river. Notch has added rivers and will soon add game-generated waterfalls also. It looks really cool. He also added canyons and trench like things.
