Alot of people love the PVP in minecraft, and a good arena is something this server doesn't have. You have a few mini-games now but many of them can only be played during server events. What if a few people want to duel it out? They can make bets against each other and it would be a fair fight, not who has the best enchanted armor. Anyway here is something I built yesterday that I thought would be good to kick start this idea. It is a four player archery battle with platforms to jump across for a close quarters battle. But it comes at no risk. Miss a jump or get hit by an arrow while jumping across mean certain death with lava lurking in the depths. And here is the schematic link. http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/archery-wars/     And you can't really tell in the pics, but the lava is about 10 blocks below the structures so nothing will catch on fire randomly.

WHY?: I have been running this town for a long time and have huge plans to make it one of the most revered towns of V6.
EXPERIENCE: As I said, I have been running MorningWood for about as long as this server has been open. I am also a manager at my local Pizza Hut, so I am used to being in charge, delegating task, and making things run smooth and efficient.
TIME: I am usually able to get on at least once a day for a few hours. I will be more busy as of recent due to the engagement and wedding planning.
PLAN: My plans are to make a beautiful town sectioned off in to four districts each run by their own separate District Owner. These people are much like mayor of their own section of town. They get to pick a theme, design their district, and recruit their own staff. This will help take the stress off of me as well so I am not doing everything. We already have several people helping with raising funds and designing buildings. We also plan to remake Party Park, a wondrous mini-game area full of fun and prizes for not only my residents, but everyone in noobstown.

Why do you want to be a Prefect?: I will try to keep my reasons within Minecraft and Noobstown as to keep it simple. I am stern with ruling. If someone is doing something they are not supposed to, I have no problem taking control of the situation. That is why MorningWood is as peaceful as it is. If people start breaking rules, we allow them chances to correct their mistakes, if they continually fail to follow the rules, they are remove from the town. Another reason I think I would be good as a Prefect is because I can handle power. Some people go crazy with power, others may just be in a bad mood and use their abilities however they wish. I for one, do no such thing. I am mature enough put my personal emotions aside and handle situations to the best of my ability. The last thing I will cover, which most people also do, is my tenure here. I have been with Noobstown since the end of V1. I have been here long enough to know what to expect from childish trolls, to annoying hackers. I have seen it all with this server, and stuck by it through thick and thin. The collapse of V2, the flood of V3, the end of V4, the rise of V5, and I will be there for the beginning of V6. You can count on me to stick around, and help maintain the peace within our community. With that all said, I guess you could say the reason I want to be a Prefect, is because I have always wanted to help this community, but I did not have the schedule to be a moderator. Filtering the chat, resolving conflicts, I can handle that, my town, and my outside life. A Prefect is the perfect position for me to help with this server.

It is in the *bug fix list, rather than the +add on though. I guess I just stumbled upon the only giant ocean left in MC, because I have yet to find another one that big. And I was no in Large Biomes.

It's all good Max, I just thought you had a bit of an issue with depth perception. And I don't know the seed, I deleted the world after exploring a bit.

Max, what looks larger than 10 chunks, the island? Cause it's about 3x2 chunks. But it takes up a lot less space than that.
And there were no trees... Just some large ferns.

They had one between V4 and V5 but stated early on in the announcement of V6 that there would be no temp. server from V5 to V6.

@Miner_man123456 - Owned. Edit @Harryx11 You make it sound like you have been on here a long time. My town alone is nearly 2 months shy from being as old as the server. Entrolla is even older than my town, Geo and I have been competing since The end of V2 and early days of V3.

Bad idea to shave arms anyhow.. Just grows back all crazy like as opposed to smooth and flat, and if you don't keep up with it, it gets longer as well. I'm just baffled at what drove you to say that Silver. Disrespect.

Yeah, when using redstone, avoid symmetry. Just try to make it work within the smallest area you can. You could remove a little more than half of what you have there and it would still work perfectly. Some redstone leads to nothing, others lead to the same lamp, and the double lined wires are not needed at all. Also depending on where the power source is, you may not even need all those repeaters. At most I would say 1.

The parties will be for all Nooblets!  Games, Prizes, Noobz, Food, and of course, Fun! You don't have to be a resident of the town to come and have a good time, and depending on how many residents sign up to be attendants, I may need to search outward to find people to help run games. So don't feel left out yet bud.
