Ok, so it happened to me again last night.  I think something goes wrong when the game tries to write the death code.  I google searched the issue and it pulled up a link to the Bukkit forums.  They were talking about something with the coding but I couldn't understand it exactly.

I'm not sure how much of Noobstown still runs on Bukkit, I heard they were trying to move away from it, but this is the link I found.

Maybe upgrade to 1.8.6 vanilla? Maybe you get lucky

 I was playing in 1.8.6 when it happened. 

 I tried to resize my screen like the link said, but it did not help.

possibly block glitching?

I noticed the my avatar "twitching" in the background.  It does look a lot like block glitching.  I tried hitting my F6 key as well, but I have the same issue as you Dalek.

     A little less than a month (three weeks +/- a few days)

How often you are/can be active (ideally every day or two, every three days at most):
     I had about a week (Apr. 3-12) when I was less active, but have increased my activity since then to daily.

Previous Experience:
     This is my first town on my first town server, therefore, I do not have any experience as town staff. 

Staff Position You Want (Architect, Plot Master, TA, etc.):
     I would like to apply for the position of Architect.

Why you want to join staff:
     I would like to be a part of growing the town into a larger and more established community.

Why we should accept you (EG: I know a few people who could kill you):
     I have a good work ethic and will, to the best of my abilities, complete projects by or before the dead line.  I also have a growing knowledge of how to construct detailed builds as well as an intermediate working and applied knowledge of redstone.
