I had joined, I believe somewhere in April of this year, 2012. I had joined and started out digging dirt holes and living in them, haha. I eventually moved up by talking to the server's people via helping and other things. I received a lot of my help from the almighty Myrf. Myrf had helped in in the VERY beginning of my time staying in Noobscraft. In the beginning I was a very devious individual, griefing houses and x-raying. Through all the bad moments and good moments, I had finally ironed out my deviousness, and cheaterness in me. I had told on myself to Foob for my mistake of X-Raying, and I was let off with a mere warning. I vowed to never break a single rule again, on the server. I haven't since then, broken a rule. Afterwards, I had moved onto a desert biome, where I attempted my first unofficial town. Along with my friend/s Jamesclements, and EAC777; the power struggle continued and fights were fought and many bad things happened. That did not work out so well. Everything went downhill due to everyone's bickering about who lives where and what the city hall should look like and so forth. It was a massive fight for power. I was, eventually, granted the power and I forfeited it because of my tiredness of the desert.

I moved onto a mountain biome where, eventually, I joined my first town. I had joined CloudSong. Cloudsong's mayor, Sophixtia, was a wonderful person at first. He worked and worked for the town, as far as I knew. He and I went mining together and all sorts of fun activities. Eventually, more and more people joined the town. In the beginning of CloudSong, for being Sophixtia's friend, I was granted the title-ship of TA. I had never been a TA before and didn't know anything about it's meaningfulness or anything. I had went along for about a month with the town, I decided to make my first shop, it went good at first, then I started getting lazy and neglecting it . I, then, later, found out the commands and such. It was fun working alongside other TA's and such. In the end, I found that several TA's of CloudSong and the mayor himself, were actually bugg.ers. They had bugged several stacks of diamond and all sorts of precious items. That was know, to me, as the CloudSong incident. I was not involved with any of the scandalous acts or any breaking of the rules. TwistedLover, out of all of the people, was the nicest to me on the server. At the time, I thought she REALLY deserved her place as moderator. Her maturity, and politeness, exceeds that of other moderators, in no offense, of course. She has helped me with several things, and I am indebted to her, as well.
 
After moving away from Cloudsong, I had went to gaining money for my own town. It was hard work, gaining it all from scratch from harvesting wheat, and such. After it all went down it all paid off, I bought my town and everything was good! I had started expanding underground and more and more people had started coming. It was a very eventful time. Happy, those times were. Unfortunately, shortly after I had made my town, I had to move houses. After the mention of moving houses, I had very limited access to the computer and could hardly EVER get on. I got on every once in a while to check around on things and see the well-being of the town. I hadn't lost interest in the town, if anything not being on, made me want to be on more and more. Luckily I had a trustworthy TA that could get on much more than I. Nebih is an indebted friend and I couldn't have asked for a better TA. He is, by far, the best worker and one of the most trustworthy people on the server. After he went on to buy his own town, I had realized I had no more active TA's. Since my long absence of moving, my TA's had become inactive! This was a terrible scary moment, and I had dreaded the day I had to say the words that, "I'm selling my town.". It kills me to say it, but I have to because I do NOT want to see such a town go to waste. The town has GREAT potential to it, it really does. But, what comes up.... must be passed on to a better owner that is online more hehe

After my leave of the mountains, with it's fond memories, I had decided to live in the icy plains. I live in a dirt hole now, even with my riches, I still love the simplicity of living like a hobo, haha. ^_^ I plan on selling my town, and building my money. I was eventually thinking of joining, maybe, Dragonfire, or living solo. I will try my best to stay online for the server and I won't leave this server. This is the best server in my opinion. It has absolute wonderful staff, and wonderful mods. This is the greatest server I've ever been too, and I am glad to share my good, and bad time story. Thank you

I noticed after the latest maintenance that there is now a kick message for people "hacking".

I was curious under what conditions this would happen. I remember before sometimes it would kick you for no reason. Licksterboy had it happen twice to him while he was Giga Breakering with a good enchanted pick, and me I think around three times while I was Super Breaking during a time I was lagged a bit.

Would this cause the game to think we were hacking and kick us? I'm simply purely curious if that's the reason why.

Um, this is absolutely correct, however, this should be posted under 'Other', I believe.

Alright, so many things to say about this. Because really none of us honestly like this, even if we're not whining you can't say you don't think it's slightly annoying, can you? I mean we all loved being able to just go /home whenever we wanted to, and now it's gone.

And the worst part to me? We were never even asked about this. We were never told it was going to happen, and that's what angers me the most. We're the players of Noobscraft, we should have say in what's going to happen, especially something like this. The fact that we weren't even asked makes me feel like Fatnoob is starting to care less and less about how we feel and how we enjoy things on the server, and whether we want something changed or not.

Yes, it's only five seconds you have to wait. But that's five seconds that anything can happen to you. You can die via creeper, you could die in lava, etc. We all enjoyed being able to /home whenever we needed to. It wasn't fully survival, but we accepted it because of how helpful it was. And then we can't even move while trying to tp, even tping home you have to wait five seconds.

And this also means that the mods themselves are under this rule. They have very busy times when they get on the server and people can be very impatient. So what if someone's griefing a plot, or trying to set off TNT on a person's plot to kill them? Situations where a mod would need to be there as quickly as possible, or move around as quickly as possible from one tp to the next. This stops them from being able to do quick things like this, which is a severe problem for situations like this.

The fact that Foob took this away from even the mods has me slightly alarmed. I'm curious if he even asked them? I would hope that he would be listening to his mods, but something tells me he may not be. I know myself that Tidal is worried to say anything on this thread because she feels like she's going to get in trouble for it. That should never happen.

Mods are the links between the admins and the players, they talk with them daily, deal with many of their problems and have a good feel for how players feel and think about things. If anything they should be able to speak their mind (Politely of course!) about different changes that will/are going to happen. I find it horrible that even one of the mods feels like they aren't allowed to speak their mind.

Yeah, you won't believe this. I fell in lava just about an hour ago, usually when I got cave hunting and looking for diamonds, I fell in lava, typed /home ... Oh well, I gotta wait five seconds, I died and lost a very high enchanted pick and a stack of diamond. That irritates me so much, I rage quitted momentarily.
